I like looking at your video. It look clean and sharp. Lighting especially help because it only focus on you without those annoying background rgb light like every other youtuber. Good job.

I’m using the Nisi lenshood for a few weeks now. Not super stoked about it. It looks amazing but it’s way too
loosely attached. It’s very easy to loose while walking around with the camera or just taking it out of your bag.
The way you autofocus on the X100iv is the same way I have been autofocusing on my X-T3 for years. I’m sure it works better with the new generation but it work pretty darn well even on the X-T3 :)

Did the same and just let go of the whole size/form-factor thing. It’s really not much bigger
@@alphapapa4446 the body may not big "MUCH" bigger, but with the lens it will be much bigger that you wont be able to fit it any coat/jacket pocket. I know b/c i had an xt4 (and now an xh2s.) they just serve different purpose. x100v/vi is my daily carry anywhere camera where all my other cameras are strictly for work.

Reason 7 & 8:
1) New 5ghz wifi chip means 3x faster transfer of photos to phone.
2) evf toggles can be deactivated for custom selection for switching between LCD and EVF.
True, the 5ghz wifi is so underrated. Could you clarify what you mean in your second point? - I'm interested
What this video did for me is want the X100 V more.
I ordered one back in February, but I have no idea what my chances are of actually ever receiving it. I first thought maybe I could receive it by the end of the year, but for all I know maybe I won't get it until 2027 or never get it at all
Way too hard to get one. Got an XT-5 instead😂😂😂
But a great camera indeed!
One big reason to not order one is that it is a fixed lens camera, it is too expensive and the viewfinder is stupid.
Did Fuji say if and/or how they plan to increase production?
No idea. Ordered mine on February 24th through B&H and still waiting.

7:01 isn't the X100V also a 5th generation camera? The V literally stands for 5.
It's in the same gen as the xt4 and the x pro 3. The numbers only indicate how many of predecessors they have, not what gen they belong to.

I have ONE big reason not to buy one:
My empty wallet
If you buy it now, maybe money will be there by the time it comes in 2 years.
If you knew what this camera is or a person who is into any kind of photography and kept up with "Fuji news" you knew this camera was going to be tough to get again..then you would have definitely pre-ordered on Pre-order day at 1:00 AM EST..haha or at least in February..lol Man..I kinda feel bad for people who basically waited and or decided late.. to "order" this camera now!..you are basically going to be at the end of the line/pre order list from any store/site you "order" it from...Yikes..I'd rather be at the front of the line than at the end of it..thats for sure..lol
Why do reviewers say '6' and then say 'V'? Where is the consistency? Why don't they say '5' instead?
This camera is not actually available. Thus, bypassing all the reasons to "have" one.
I would have gotten rid of the flash.
Typically, when I come across most videos about the VI, I automatically click ‘dislike’. In this case, as soon as you mentioned reason number one, I tapped that ‘Like’ button. As an OG X100 user, who’s shot mine all over the world from the day I bought it new some 13 years ago, I LOVE the fact that Fuji has refused to compromise on look and form factor. While I’ve never upgrade from my OG X100, I did upgrade to the VI and I’m blown away at how far Fuji has come with this line. Seems like most of the people whining joined the club only after the TikTok craze. Between VI and my Hassy X2D, I couldn’t be any happier.

Lets face it, it's a good camera but total Tiktok bait. It'll be the ideal camera for the hipster IG Reals creator but in 25 years I can guarantee we won't be celebrating their work. A proper photographer will be able to get a great image out of pretty much anything else. Let the idiots waist their money and wait on unbelievably long delivery times, whilst the rest of us just get on with documenting life.

The camera is absolutely rubbish! Pure hype... Tests show how inferior it is to other cameras, even phone cameras. Only thing it's worth buying for is the aesthetics and even then £1700 pffft
