- The new-format Kill Team boxes are up for pre-order today and I've had a chance to dig into it! After our first couple games let's break down the teams, the box contents and give some thoughts on this new format going forward.

The datacards remind me of battletech alphastrike cards.

The scouts look to finally play like a Special Forces team
I forgot today was order release day for these. So I just checked the shop... I'm in a 23 minute queue to look at the shop. I'm on a landing page. Wow absolute madnes. But probably needed ha.
I hope my FLGS can get these for me. I wonder how the terrain pairs with Zone Mortalis.
How do the new scouts scale to the Necromunda Goliath kit?
Okay, I’m 1:34 into the video and having confirmation of the stat cards, as others have already said, is huge. Why do you think it took them so long to start doing this? WarCry has done it since day one, so, why just now for KT21?!
Completely agree on the next [assumed] KT:S/Bheta-Decima Terrain set. The good ol' Sector Mechanicus Terrain has a good assortment of Walkwayshapes, not to mention a ,lt of good 'building' type pieces. If it's just more of the same base Terrain & an 'Upgrade Sprue'... 👎👎👎
I was so dissapointed that Fire Team had unit cards, but they didn't include any for Kill Team. (Until now)
How big are the new scouts compared to the old ones?
A head taller. The new scouts are slightly smaller compared to their final form.

@@JulienHoez_ No worries. You can basically make one of everything and a double of one of the basic warrior loadouts. I’d recommend the shot gunner as you’re already got multiple models with bolters and pistols and CC Weapons.
I feel like its a missed opportunity not to have dark reapers and the other aspects, (even if they opted to only have the plastic kits)
Aspect Soup is already hard to justify without a strong lore explanation. GW should have made the Aspect leader an Autarch. Then the warrior would have the experience to lead multiple Aspects into a fight. Also an Autarch could theoretically pull warriors from different Aspect shrines for a specific mission.
From a gaming perspective maintaining a balance becomes more challenging with each new variable added. A one of each Aspect kit could have been really fun. By removing the flexibility from the list, balance becomes easier to approach. I could also see 40K players buying multiple sets to complete squads of new sculpts leaving little stock for Killteam players.
40k is the only setting where people want to play humans more than any other faction. Or at least that's what I'm told because EVERY release has more space marines. I don't know anyone in my personal friend group that plays space marines but going of the GW releases 90% of players are playing space marines.
It's a bad core set. No barriers and too little trerrain to start with if you're new. You basically have to buy the old set to start, or purchase the overpriced 'essentials' pack to go with it.
Is it a core set thought? It doesn’t have a rulebook or dice… it’s more an army box.
