There's nothing better in the morning than a hot cup of coffee and a new TFL car video! Great comparison!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Same! Just poured a cup of coffee and grabbed a cookie! Crazy how that Porsche took off like a bottle rocket, but pretty much what I figured lol.
That fridge is fast 😂
Should slap a Kenmore badge on the fender, that would be funny!
Yeah …fast and ugly !
Quick……..definitely not fast!! 😳🤷🏽♂️
It is quick but not very fast.
@@volvo09 one CT owner put colourful fridge magnet letters on the back spelling "TWUCK" 😅
remember when Andrei was just a crazy Russian character who didn't talk English on this channel?
He took the temperature of the brakes too.
I think they are trying to forget this uncomfortable period. It’s cringe
Yep
and the hat
I always just assumed that he had money and financed the channel from the beginning so he was able to be on the videos by default.
I rented a Cybertruck last weekend, it was very quick and smooth and felt like it could turn on a dime.
Avoid that because the wheel by wire system has a delayed response...
@@fabr5747it's supposed to be delayed, a direct turn would be worrying
@@AgentSmith911 What are you saying? In a mechanical system, there is a direct response, not a delayed response. If you start to turn the wheel, and it takes 0.1 s for the wheels to complete the quick movement on the steering wheel, there is a problem. Ask jet fighter pilots if they would be happy with massive delayed response from the fly by wire system.
The pilot is the one who should make the decision, not the system not knowing where the pilot wants to go on the track.
The steer by wire system of Tesla is dangerous, and is a consequence of the poor design.
@@fabr5747 No, every mechanical system has some lag, and steer by wire is programmed to have some lag to it as well. It's to minimize the jerkiness of human input. Just about every steer by wire has it built in, to a varying degree. And it's different by a few ms depending on the speed and other considerations.
@@AgentSmith911
WHAT IS THE F-ING TOPIC OF THE VIDEO?
RACING = MINIMISING THE LAG ! The TESLA steer by wire makes it IMPOSSIBLE to be precise.
And you miss something, in mechanical steering, the lag isn't really what's going on, it's tolerance where there is a small movement that doesn't impact the steering. But when you turn your steering wheel at the maximum, the wheel will not end turning with a delay of 0.1 or 0.2 s like it is on the Cybertruck. Of course you haven't seen the issue and don't realise it's the problem.
Tesla fans create accept any dangerous situations and will try to justify that it's on purpose. No, it's just badly engineered.
And that was the slow version of the current CyberTruck versions.
that mustang needs the supercharger
Loved that intro shot of the Cybertruck obscuring the cars lol
The simple fact that a mid teir ct is running 12.9 is amazing. It wasnt too long ago when people were paying a premium for a truck that ran 14s.
It's actually a great time to be a car enthusiast. We're at the apex of street legal ICE vehicles; e.g. hypercars, Hellcat, Pony cars, BMW M's, Maclaren, tuner cars, etc. Now we're seeing an entire wave of new EVs including trucks, SUVs and personal luxury cars. Which to choose?
For those of us boomer aged its hard to let go of the soul stirring attributes of a high performance ICE vehicle. Yet, the handwriting is on the wall that EVs will be an increasingly important and deployed mode of transport.
I just bought a new GMC 1500 AT4 with the 6.2l V8. It may be my last fully ICE powered vehicle, who knows? I'm gonna enjoy these ICE engines as long as I can, but I recognize the inevitability of the transition. I wish the discourse around these two types of vehicles (well, three types if including hybrids) was more FRIENDLY and not so easily devolving into name calling or judgment. If government would stay the hell out of it, it would actually be fun to watch this free market transition take hold.
True that!!!!
I'm hoping that the future of EV's will have more "fun' features added, like the ICE engine simulation / shifting emulation that Hyundai did on that new car.
Sad part is the government is the main reason this is even a thing at all right now. The inevitably of transition is only because of the government and no other reason which means it truly does not have to happen.
@@bk27117 The transition is global for climate reasons, not just because your government wants to.
I'm a fan of both ICE and EV. I daily a Bolt EUV for the fuel savings and have ICE vehicles for toys (Wrangler and Mustang, hoping to add a truck soon!).
That was awesome thanks guys
Glad you enjoyed it
Tri-motor cyber wouldn’t even be close lol
Porsche gts or turbo s wouldn't even close
@@G82Watts You move the field goals every comment you make lmao You were saying the 911 Carrera T was the only 911 the CT could beat, yet here is the lowly Dual Motor AWD beating a 911 Targa 4S. I sure would hope Porsche's flag ship 911 would beat a 6900 lb truck 🤡🤡
@@RxPharmer The real clown is the guy posting stupid emojis.

@@bob-qi4nr Oh, great burn. Here's one for you 🙄
Just come out of the refrigerator and finally admit you are in love with the cybertruck (except for towing).
Nah. They bought the chit box and now they need to milk it for all its worth.
That’s the slow cybertruck! Race the Cyberbeast!
Being that high above sea level must take a ton of hp from the mustang. I ran 11.9 @119 with my 2019 gt with just a catback exhaust in Ky
you do your run from 0 revs like he did in his mustang ? or did you use launch control
@frankbevan413 my car doesn't have launch control
@@rogerwolfe7302 so you launch from 0 revs
@@rogerwolfe7302 i thought all mustangs have it since 2016
@@frankbevan413 you don't have to have launch control to launch a car. You can hit the gas and hold the brake, or manually hold your revs with a manual.
Launch control just makes it more consistent. I have it as a feature in my tune and i never use it, just releasing the clutch like I always have done is the exact same thing.
Great video guys, but just put a Cyberbeast in there and you'll see the magic happen hahaha. The cyber beast is like an evil fart, it's silent, it's heavy and deadly, before you know it, it's already got you LOL. Congratulations from Brazil guys.
Mustang kept up with the two for half the price. This is when the Mustang shines.
And unfortunately half the originality too. I always see at least a handful of late gen mustangs during my short 20 minute commute every day. I'd rather have something more special, even if it means paying more.
Great show brilliant race. I still love ❤the Mustang thank you so much from Sydney Australia 😊
That one was fun guys! I’d still go Porsche personally just cuz!
Thanks TFL!
I would still buy a Mustang GT, as it has the most horsepower for the price and great performance.
Race the Cybertruck in low suspension setting next time and see what the times are, kinda looks like it was in medium setting.
Why no launch control in the 911. The 911 launch controls are brutal and would have changed the race against the cyber truck more than likely
the slowest 911 manual with 380hp and rwd managed to get a 1/4 mile under 12.5 (( also not sea level ) MotorTrend Channel ).
“I just floored it”. Did you not think about using the Porsche launch control?
FYI: Ours does’t have it
@@TFLcar one stupidly assumed on a 130k 4S Targa that chrono would have been on the spec sheet 🤔

@@TFLcar Yes it does. Try it. It just doesn't say launch control. Trust me. It'll launch. (At maybe 1k rpm lower than official launch)
@@TFLcar You're the only channel where you don't seem to use Launch Control.......
Wasn't it the tri-motor cyberbeast which was racing againsty the 911 while towing not the 2 motor ?
Yes
That vid has been debunked
It was just a marketing strategy, a cyberbeast towing can't beat the 911
Is it me, or does that mustang sound like it's not going to just before redline to shift? It sounds like it is shifting to early and boging down the engine a little when it shifts. Under full throttle when it shifts it shouldn't go under 4k rpms.
Put away for the winter 😉
Second run the Mustang sounded like it went 1st to 3rd, which would explain the 13.69 to 14 .16 !!
That why I have the Mustang, I can tow with my sequoia and I have the open air of my motorcycle!! For less than the MSRP of the Porsche! 😂
Yeah, for a maxed out 911 S/T, you could but 5 $70,000 Fords, and still have $28,000 left to run them all !!
Nice car Roman
Congratulations 🎉
Great job, Guys.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video! I didn’t think the Porsche would come that close to the Tesla.
Yep, you can tow with the Cybertruck, as long as you have an extension cord attached🤣
The cyber truck needs some graphics? It might help it look a little better?
You have to make fewer shows; I'm hopelessly addicted...🤠
curious about the loss of power being above sea level? 🤔🧐🤨
ironic he talks about the turbo being better at 1 mile above sea level = then doesnt spin the turbo up to launch
How much Horsepower would you say a US Aircraft Carrier has at Sea Level?
@@ghostmofo5829about 260,000 hp
😂
As you increase altitude there’s less atmospheric pressure and thus less atmosphere for a ICE engine to compress to turn into power. Denver is a mile above sea level and the TFL drag strip is even higher. Cars will loose about 2% per 1,000 feet unless turbo charged. In the case of an electric car it doesn’t care what altitude you’re at because it doesn’t have to compress air to make power. I hope this helped.
I love that my 1999 Mustang has a nicer interior! Come on Ford!
That’s fridging fast!
A race we all asked for!
If you have the means to buy either, nobody in their right mind would be caught dead in the Cyberjunk.
The mustang used to be the pore man’s sport car. The base GT is now 42k, with models reaching 70k to have features equivalent to the Tesla triangle. What is the average man to do?
Didn't use launch control on the porsche against cyberpunk. Why? Launch control in the porsche is a huge advantage.
Next time use launch control and press sports response button. This should be good for .5 seconds.
Has anyone raced the e Hummer and the cyber truck? That'll be cool to see.
Would love to see a race between the Hummer EV and Tesla Cybertruck. Release the WTF mode on it!!! :)
porsche: 140k, sounds like a vacuum cleaner. without launch control (eg at a red light) and enjoy the turbo lag
Now do a Cannonball Run
Out of Spec already did a video like that with all EV trucks. The CT did Jacksonville, FL to San Diego, CA in 40 hours.
What mph was the Cyber truck at, I was wondering if it was a slower mph than the Porsche?
You can tweak crap to make it better or just start with the best.

put the whipple on that mustang then round 2
That’s like saying “use the faster cyber truck and then round 2”

Roman, where has the targa been? Is there a delivery video? Reviews? Etc I know it’s a dream car.
LOL delivery video. Hes wayyyyy too worried about what everyone is going to say knowing he spent $156,000+ dollars on a personal vehicle yet wasnt willing to pay Brenden a real salary to keep him on staff. No launch control on the Porsche? C'mon fellas....😂

The CyberTruck halls more groceries!
The GT was more competitive than I expected. The truck is too weird looking. I love the looks of the Porsche.
That Porsche sounds like a toyota corolla
I want to see the Corvette e ray vs cybertruck
We do too
I blame screens with no dials
Everyone talks about the glorious sound, which used to mean speed and power. Welcome to the sound of silence. Welcome to the electric evolution.
Garbage,i don't like it
Why didn't they use launch control on the 911?
I mean, technically you could tow something with the mustang. I'm sure it'll be fine lol.
The mustang skipped a gear against the cyber truck u can hear it bog down
Did the Cybertruck hit its speed limiter in the 1/4 mile?
The tri motor does. They’ve not unlocked the 130mph top speed yet.
Yes you can tow with the Mustang. 1,500lbs.
Bring the vehicles down to sea level, see what happens.
Buy? The Mustang. Be given? The 911.
Now do a porsche gts or turbo s vs the cybertruck 😂 better yet do a roll race too 😂
That wasnt even the same horsepower model cybertruck that raced the porsche and pulled the porsche in the video they did. Always something right?
Now do a cannonball race across country to see which is faster.
Porsche might beet the long distance Mustang turd break down half way than cyber takes too long to charge up. Unless had a sun solar panel on roof to recharge. Then would over heat in 80,90 degree weather. How your phone/electronics if sitting out too long in sunlight.
This has already been done with the CT. It took 40 hours flat.
My dream … to get caught and spend some time in prison !
No need for a cannonball, just put turns, on a proper race track (i.e. not boring American classic straight lines and Carrera slot cars round)... The steer by wire delay will make it impossible for proper racing Too much delay, and impossible to manage the turn rate because it evolves, which is ridiculous.
@fabr5747 There's been owners that have put their CTs on autocross courses. I saw one that specifically participated in a PCA courses and he placed surprisingly high so your steer by wire assumption would be incorrect.
I hate that the Porsche didn’t get a chance to really show what it can do. The Porsche with 443hp and 390tq really needed a driver modification. What is the point of having AWD if you are not going to take full advantage of it. The old 2017 Porsche 911 (991.2) with 420hp/368tq did the quarter mile in 11.7 according to MotorTrend. The newest version. The 2018 to current has an official time of less than 11.5. Guess what? You must use launch control. Doing a regular stop light start seriously under rates the capability of the 992 Porsche Targa 4S. You must launch it. Otherwise you are not getting the full benefit of AWD. Bad display of the Porsches capability. The Cybertruck has the advantage being electric and having instant torque. Power braking or not. So you are going to race an electric vehicle without using launch control and in a high altitude scenario? Looks like they wanted to Porsche to lose to me. Biased or not Biased. Seems they wanted to prove the cyber truck would beat the 911. Even if conditions are unfair. Idk.
New Tesla battery pack $20,000+ I think that is the hardest pill to swallow.
Andre....was it hard for you to go from metric to imperial. I grew up using imperial but we were forced by trudeau senior to switch. I actually love the metric system as a surveyor. So, you had to learn better english and then also imperial...not easy.
Was this the cyber beast or dual motor?
That's an AWD dual motor
They never use the Turbo S version.
Because the numbers are already known.
The 911 Turbo S is known to be one of the fastest production cars...
...on the quarter mile
...on any race track
...on the Autobahn
...on the Nürburgring Nordschleife
and also has one of the most powerful brakes of any street-legal vehicle.
The 911 can do everything on the road better than any Tesla, except towing a trailer.
Targa is heavy has glass convertible
Stop using the Cyber Truck with 2 motors. Use the 3 motor, makes for a better video. Like who makes a car show and brings the slowest model.
Yeah the other two have faster models too ya dipshit
Great cars!! Ugly tub of a "truck"...
Do some highway roll races. Let’s see what it’s like when you really need to overtake that guy trying not to let you over.
Why does someone need a truck to go that fast ??
Ok you say that about electric but let's just rang an the cost of electric it cost than a fuel car
Do this same race at half mile, Cybertruck will lose... That's a challenge
In the real world, when would you ever be full throttle for half a mile? Dumb
Where are the Ranger Raptor videos?
That Porsche is badass
🔥Nice🔥
Looks like no launch control used on the 911....
It doesn’t have it
A Porsche with a PDK with no launch function ? I don’t think exists.
For the price of Porsche 911 target top you can have a mustang and a Camaro SS and possibly a Challenger scat pack narrow body. Although if anyone’s getting a challenger might as well, let it be a widebody.
13 sec 1/4 mile for that 911 is absolutely horrible
He picked awd $125,000 vehicle is real wheel drive vehicle under $50k?
Hi is not 0 to 60

Fun comparison. It's still really hard to look at the cyber-fridge.
Is the distance of the race not mentioned anywhere in this video? Am I crazy?
They always do a quarter mile, and usually mention it, though I’m not sure if it was mentioned in this video.
@@foellerd Thanks, Saying the distance or at least the actual times should be SOP,

Add a 3rd row and call it cyber suv.
I'd actually be interested in an EV minivan. Especially if it was AWD and had 600+ hp.
I couldnt care less about an EV truck.

A drag race is a really poor measure of a vichles performance. Let's take them to a race track.
how about the ole passing lane... need to pass a dozen cars...
40-120..... what is the Cybertruck limited to top speed?
Roll the window down dude.
I would rather have a 1970 911 or Mustang with a blown motor than EV.
The more appropriate race would be between the cybertrash and the Ford Lightning or the Rivian R1T.
