      @captain_buggles Před 8 měsíci +4

      Even without evolving, it would be way better if it were just more synergistic and efficient in how it's designed.
      Pointless amount of stats wasted on defenses and sp. atk.
      I'm not proposing anything *super* insane because it's an early route bug, but still.
      Canon spread is 60/79/92/52/86/35.
      And I actually think it could stay pretty slow and still benefit from its other traits, saving some points for them.
      So I would propose like 60/109/72/42/66/55, even being purposefully conservative with how much the Sp. Atk gets lowered so that the minmax feels less "tryhard".
      Even just 55 speed really boosts how much it would outspeed after they get affected by Silk Trap or Sticky Web.
      And I would give it priority, so that there are more situations where Stakeout is actually good for something.
      Shadow Sneak would make a decent amount of sense, given that it's an ambush hunter. Mach Punch could arguably work when it already learns a couple of Fighting-type moves.

    Idk if anyone commented this but one move that always interested me was toxic thread. It’s basically a poison type string shot, it lowers the opponents speed by one stage, and poisons them. If the opponent is steel or poison, they can still get their speed lowered. Idk if it hits two targets in doubles like string shot but it is quite a unique move. If it does it hit two Pokémon in doubles, it would be a better poison gas, without the poor accuracy. I used Heatmor in Gen 8, and it wasn't bad. It has really good coverage with Giga Drain and Scorching Sands, and I Maxed it in Trick Room with Dusclops to activate WP and slow it to a decent speed with Bulldoze. I literally did it because I was in Wolfe's sub server and people hated on him. When I showed them proof and said "It's not a bad Pokemon" people took that to mean that I thought it was a top tier threat, so I got harassed. It was particularly annoying because I know for a FACT that if a player like Wolfe or Cybertron used it and said it wasn't bad, people would have loved it.
    I'm a believer in that every Pokemon is usable, but not necessarily good. Most of them require specific setup to make work, but they're definitely usable. It's fun to theorycraft that shit.

It can't run AV or Choice Items with No retreat but it has sone tools to capitalize on it as well. My craziest pick for getting No Retreat is Empoleon, the moe fits its personality. Adittionally empoleon is one of the pokemon with a connection to greek mythology so it learning a move from the lil' spartans is not too out of place.
