Thank you for the video. I am doing the oil change after the free ones from the dealer were used up, now its up to me. Its nice because it does not take over 2hrs to do your self! I used the Super Tec oil filter, its the same as the AC Delco, both are manufactured by Champ Labs. Those oil filters they instal at the factory are installed by a machine and its not torqued the same as doing it hand tight!

start with showing everything (slowly) your going to use in the video, maybe setting on a table. Viewers are looking for Brand names, parts names, product sizes.👍

next time put oil around the rubber on the filter so it will come off easy

If you want to use a tool to tighten the new oil filter, a rubber strap wrench would be better so you won’t risk dimpling the new filter with a metal tool.

Do I have to use ac Delco oil or can it be different brand?

it can be any Brand but better off spending an extra few bucks for a nice filter. Ac Del co which gm recommends is only like 12 bucks.

If your truck is under warranty, i would use AC Delco. If not, I would use the WalMart Super Tec, its the same filter made by Champion Labs, with a different label.

Do some research on Super Tec Oil, Warren Distribution is now owned by Mobile. He is actually putting an oil equivalent to Mobile 1 in the truck. Probably better oil then the bulk oil supplied by the dealer.
