Unfortunately they don’t sell the LH600 here in Australia. In the mean time I’ve settled with a $200 projector from AAXA SLC450, short throw (0.7) with vertical and horizontal keystone and corner fit; projector works well with no ambient light conditions.

Great video Mitch. Do you know which long throw projector Benq would recommend for my sim, bearing in mind there is the bifolds (with blinds) so quite a bit of ambient light?

Thanks for the review Mitch. I’ve bought this projector and I love it but I’m having trouble getting it to 1:1 and being able to duplicate to another monitor, have you managed to do this? Please give me hope 😂
Have you set your graphics card settings/resolution to 1080x1080?
@@hcpgolf I have and it works but only on extended display, when I try to duplicate to another screen it always takes the highest resolution so the projector screen reverts back.
Hmm, there will be a very simple way of doing it. When I used to do this with my old setup the projector and the extended display both took the 1080x1080 resolution. Maybe try that display settings are on 1080x1080 in your GPU settings and also check the Windows display/resolution settings too
Where my sim is I get a lot of light and can’t shut it of.
So I’m after something that I can use during the day and not just the dark.
If you know of any that won’t break the bank let me know.

You will need something with high ansi lumens (definitely more than 3000 if you have ambient light. Maybe closer to 4000)
I’ve been wanting to replace my aging Optoma HD141x (standard throw) to fill my 9’x9’ garage sim with one of the BenQ projectors made specifically for golf sims. I watched your review on the LH820ST a few months ago and it had me very interested, was trying to stay closer to $1k and the 820 quite a bit more at $1800. I’ve been waiting to see some reviews on the LH600ST and just discovered you just did this one. How do you think it compares to the 820? Do you think the difference between LED and laser is that significant, to justify $800 more? Really looking forward to hearing your thoughts since you’ve reviewed both in a very similar setup to my sim.
You won’t go wrong with the 600ST. The 820ST is brilliant ye, but if I was to put the two images next to each other, im not sure if I’d be able to spot the difference really (to a somewhat untrained eye - I’m not a pro in the projector game). If it was me, I’d save £800
