U can give round 5 to Moreno based on damage. The #1 scoring criteria. I understand the upset from you but it seems the judge who gave Moreno 4 rounds was hyper focused on damage.,. And as a community that loves watching fights, we should support it. Damage matters most

Yeah this one was a lose-lose for me. I loved both of those guys. Rob has an incredible history and is one of the greats in the division, but I’m happy for Dricuss and it’s good to have new blood in the top of the division
He’s a disappointment when it comes to game planning and varying his attacks. He just picks at the legs and blitzes in with head strikes. He never punches the body EVER no matter how clear of a target it should be. Izzy’s long body and lean back style BEGGED for body shots but he threw none.
Dricuss high guard defense BEGGED for body shots but he threw none.
It was poetic for me to see Robert crumple from a body punch.

Morenos ability to scramble out of one of the best jiujitsu top players in flyweights best position is absolutely insane. And pantojas ability to grit through morenos speed was sensational. Super high level stuff from both of them and morenos boxing is so satisfying

I don't know how many people agree with me but that Bo nickal knockout was a thing of beauty. He stepped in , BOOM!!! and stepped out of range immediately. Stepped in again , BOOM!!! and stepped out again.

One thing I noted was his hands were low, after he throws his punches he is wide open for a counter hook. He wont be able to strike with anyone that is elite on the feet.

Nah robby fight wasn't rigged but that said , these guys come to fight in a different mental space , cowboy gane niko . Idk if subconsciously they know it's better to lose for thier careers or too much respect or just simple fact they can't get the the right mentality to fight fighters they look up too . 💯 I always remember Mike Tyson fights these guys just were in a mental space to lose no matter what bs came out thier mouths

Robert Whittaker losing, let alone being TKO’d was the shock of the years for me. It was really unexpected, and is a sad moment as huge Rob fan, with him probably being my favorite current fighter, but damn I’d love to see DDP beat Izzy.
I honestly ain’t even sure if this was a lucky fight where the stars aligned for DDP, or if he’s truly this much better after the surgery, but by any means would love to see him beat Izzy.
Very glad Volk won cause damn does Rob losing hurt.

Moreno won round 2 and that's all. 1 judge having it 49-46 to Moreno is ludicrous. Pantoja didnt look great by any means, but he clearly won.
That judge honestly needs to NEVER judge another fight in his life. Absolutely rigged.

Honestly I thought they both looked kinda off and pretty slow for flyweights but it was a clear Pantoja win. Very close though.
I scored it for Pantoja 48-47....but I gave Moreno rounds 2&3. Alot of people scored round 4 for Moreno. Rounds 3&4 could've gone either way imo.

Yep just as I predicted, Volk was never in serious trouble against Yair. I had said Volk was going to stop Yair within 2-3 rounds. I also predicted Du Plessis was going to beat Whitaker and everyone laughed at my comment. Maybe I should start a channel.

3-2 Pantoja and I’m a Morena fan, I thought Moreno was lighting him up on the feet but the grappling was the key factor here
Bo nickel showed GREAT improvement get him on the next closest card you can fighting another tough prospect. That 4-1 Moreno score card is unbelievable and that turner third round card is pretty goddamn nuts too. But bottom line. This card was incredible. This card was so good every single fight was worth every single minute. I am so pleased with the quality of the fights we got for international fight week.
Watched this fight with my mom and she said it was the best 80 dollars shes ever spent 😂

It's time the fighters stood up to the judges. In the interviews. Before the fights. Refuse certain judges to judge your fights. The UFC will do nothing. The commissions are responsible
People who say that Moreno won pretend that Pantoja only had effective grappling vs. Moreno's damaging shots but Pantoja also landed damaging shots plus effective grappling. If anybody got a 49-46 it was Pantoja but i'll hear 48-47 Pantoja, not 48-47 Moreno.

If you get dropped it doesnt mean the round is over especially if you werent put out and wobbly. The guy who gets dropped and pops back up immediately to his feet or on the ground can still get up and win the round. Just depends.

This UFC event was nuts! Bo should have headlined the prelim card, was impressed by his finish of Val. Robbie had the perfect ending to his legendary career. Dan Hooker makes the Terminator look like a pussy! Moreno & Pantoja was a phenomal dog fight. Volk proved why he is the P4P number 1. And last but not least, DDP showed how hungry he is for that belt by destroying one of the best to ever step in the cage! Cool card. Great fights!

Guru I know you try to find something here with Whittakers power, but it's not that complicated, he doesn't have nuclear one punch power. He has average to above average power being slightly undersized. He has hurt, rocked, wobbled, dropped or finished almost every opponent, but never really tried to force a finish, especially later in his career when he became less durable. Hurt Vettori bad, Cannonier almost out both headkicks, he basically head kicked everyone lol, Gastelum, Romero, Jacare, Brunson, dropped Till.
Whittaker lunges his goddamn head into almost fucking everything. Me and my buddy were pissed about that last night
Find it hard to find something to disagree with you on.. But Moreno CLEARLY won round 5. He was piecing Pantoja up on the feet for three and a half minutes of the round, Pantoja ended the round on his back but didn't threaten a sub once. I really don't see how it is so hard to believe that Moreno won that last round. We have to stop this awarding rounds to people just holding on for dear life and not furthering positions/subs/strikes Islam is the worst for it.
That being said for me, 3-2 either way is spot on.
