True. Time to move up and fight Chandler, Gaethje, Poirier, Islam and Olivera. For some reason I don't see him "dominating" that weight class. He'll be great but I really doubt there will be any domination. Stay active Volk👍 as for Max...0-3 now.. And he's one of my favorite fighters the UFC has ever produced but it's time to start sparring and get back in the gym immediately after he heals. This was sad to watch as a Holloway fan but great to watch as a Volk fan.
@@PozzaPizz it's never easier when you move up in weight. Luckily for Volk he already cuts SOOO MUCH weight already it should be a pretty smooth transition. I just don't see him dominating the top 5 guys. He'll be great just not dominate like he is at 145. I don't really care if he was 205 at one time. That's rugby not fighting there's a huge difference. But who knows he's been amazing this far?

Every fighter Holloway fights has their career best numbers against him. I am not saying he should retire right now, but he should take some time to recover and rethink how many more 100+ significant strikes fights he wants to take before retiring.

Yes, he dishes it out, but his opponents always have their own career best strike count against Max. Even in the Kattar fight, Max took 135 significant strikes, at least 30 of them being real fight ending blows if landed on someone with an average chin.

I also thought Volk looked abit heavier - like he was current abit more fat going into the second fight .. he looked a lot more cut/ripped and it has shown with his speed the past few fights. Volk literally made max look like I've never seen him... Idk how that was possible... He seemed so fast, and so good at his timing and causing serious damage to Max's face... I couldn't believe how deep that cut was and omg that cut guy was not putting in enough Vaseline in the cut at all! I couldn't believe it. It was so frustrating... That was a deep cut.. That needed a lot better maintenance then it got. I've not seen max that unsure what to do and such little output by max... For max it was so little output... Amazing performance.
