Cricket World Cup - all formats
To qualify a nation needs to have an aggregate score from all formats in the top 16 of all nations. Pool matches are t20s and the top two players from each pool of four compete in an ODI, the winner progressing to semi finals being two-day tests. the final is a five-day test.
If there is a draw in the semi-finals the drawing sides contest a t20 and if there is a draw in the final the teams contest an odi. There is no incentive for seeking a draw in the finals as doing so exposes your side to a more volatile short-form contest so teams will play aggressively in these games

Obviously fraught with issues, and they are two different people, but just wondering if you guys feel like there are any parallels between the way that Maxwell and his off-field life is talked about, and the way that Andrew Symonds was often spoken about within the press during his period in the team?
Personally I would love to see Maxwell back in the test squad, I think the opportunity would be great for him on a lot of levels. I feel like the ACC has hindered him by really shoe-boxing him and not really giving him motivation or encouragement to push himself beyond that role, which would have an impact on his personal life and attitude to cricket.

ODI got bigger crowds than T20. Wtf are you on about? If it was against India then the crowds would’ve been fuller. But mostly the reason they don’t get big crowds is because they’re not on FTA, unlike tests.
