Gaurav is good, but the value Grade cricketer can bring to Indian entertainment is unparalleled. That is because Indian Influencers like Gaurav will still suck the last drop out of Bollywood nepotistic balls. Gaurav kapoor is the best cricket presenter in india, he's everything jatin sapru dreams to be!! Still remember the way he handled 2007 t20 world cup pre/post shows and made them entertaining, and the the og ipl extra innings that every 2000 kid remembers, it wasn't boring as the one you see now a days on starsports, it was so much fun watch ipl back then because of him and the team!! ❤❤

What an amazing listen! GK is always a great entertainer but the stories were absolute gold and kind of the dream life of an indian cricket lover. Gave me mild goosebumps in between and constant 'I wish I was there' urges!

Long ago when Gaurav used to be part of the Channel V, India’s answer to MTV in the 90s and our office was in same building as one of their studios in Blore.. so we happened to bump into many VJs but this very tall, lanky, charming kid in the elevator always stood out for this obvious height & charm. Nice to see his growth and now one of the best sports anchors in International media. Just a quick nostalgia seeing GK here on TGC. 😊

I don't know but Gaurav's commentary on odi cricket between 11-40 overs where players don't "push" just shows how much he actually watches this format. I think these guys more than anything would kill the format by this frivolous commentary.

Don't agree about the charm of ODIs though. It has its own charisma. The strategies and executions are different. Overs 11-40 were never boring. However, it's true that the batting team is more cautious. That's reducing year by year.
ODIs cannot and should not be 50 over T20Is.
A different set of skills and mentality and tactics are needed.
Hope cricket fans agree.
Am I the only one who thinks prioritizing the viewers is not number 1? The history of the ODI world cup matters. They're playing for their country not the viewers.
