I know history of this girl. She was adopted by very good woman, her mother tried to kill her, when she was a small girl. She was a winner of competition of orphens and children with difficult life in Russia. She couldn't speak till 4 or 5 years. I was crying, when herd history of her life. Therefore this girl has so deep feeling of songs. The name of program is " You are super" and the girl name is Diana Ankundinova. I think that she was a winner in 2017 or 2018.
Diana is also an accomplished yodeler and because of that, she is able to use her "break" in her voice to easily switch registers.
Her intensity is incredible. Its like she's mixing opera with modern music. I am so happy I have heard her.
I can't even believe these sounds are coming from a human.
Her range is stupendous, she almost sounds like a bloke during the chorus. She's only 15!

She was 14 years old there. In her early childhood, her biological mom left her when she was a toddler and age of 4 she did not speak. Her foster mom which is adopted her when she was 4 years old took her to a local vocal teacher so she can start some singing least instead of speak. and after year of vocal learning the coatch developed her musical talent. She is a genius! She needs to go "American Got talent" that way all world will know how she is incredible!

i noticed the russian judges are WAY more respectful and patient..if you watch it again you will notice that the last one pressed the button in a quiet moment to not disturb her performance.

Thank you so much for your reaction to Diana Ankudinova. Diana actually turned 16 on 31st May 2019, but was 15 at the time of this performance. The show she is on here is Ты супер! (translated as "You are Super") and it is for children who have found themselves without parental care at some point in life. According to the programme, Diana was abused by her biological mother until around the age of 3 years, and ended up in an orphanage. While there, a massage nurse named Irina Ponik took care of her, and a strong bond was formed, to the extent that a year afterward Diana was adopted by Irina, and Irina has been her "Mom" ever since. It seems that for the first year or so Diana would hardly speak, and singing lessons were recommended, and the rest is history. Diana is now with a loving family, and her music training goes from strength to strength. Since winning the show, she has received much support from Igor Krutoy, the bald guy on the judges panel, and who is one of Russia's foremost composers and song writers. You may have seen him play piano for Dimash sometimes. Diana's cover of "Rechenka" a Russian folk song, on the same show in 2018 is something else, and very much worth watching. She had very tough destiny before she became that famous. She was adopted at her 5yo and her biological mother treated her very badly etc. The woman who adopted Diana was working as a nurse and they lived very poorly. Apartments in Moscow was a Diana's dream. Igor Krutoy (composer, songwriter and entertainment producer, very powerful) bought her an apartment so she could study in Moscow.
At least that what I've read from the internet and heard from her interviews on CZcams.
This last judge is not an idiot at all. ;))) This is a famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy. Incidentally, he helped Diana and her mother a lot, bought an apartment in Moscow so that she would have more opportunities to practice singing and could enter a good musical educational institution.

It's not the matter of pitch range that she has, it's the matter of her ability to lower her larynx that much. The notes she's singing are not that low - she's lowering her larynx and that's why our perception of the sound is so low.
Rechenka is my favourite song performed by Diana. I would strongly recommend to react to this song.

ну она не для русской сцены... мне кажется у нее другой потенциал. Но, тут уж кто денег вложит. Крутому нужно димаша крутить, гоняет его с выступлениями везде и всюду, лепит из него куклу.. Дурь какая то получается.

К тому же, кому тяжелее вначале, тот с большим упорством добивается своего, а Диана девушка сильная, справится обязательно.
И ещё. Честно говоря, мне как-то Димаш не особо... голосом владеет виртуозно, талантище, но такое ощущение, что он не чувствует песню...чисто мое мнение.

Every singer has to be god smacked by her range and control. My mouth dropped open the first time I saw her. “That’s a girl? “ Honestly was my first thought because of the low chest/throat singing. Then her high notes... what a range! Is she even human? I mean that In a good way. My goodness that was an amazing performance! Why oh why have I not heard of her?
