    Yezdi adv's light clutch, easy gear shifts, 6 speed gear box, powerful headlight, 10kg lighter weight and 120km/hr no-vibration cruising speed were not considered at all as valid points to deem it a better bike atleast in the current period. Although I do believe, Yezdi could have dropped adv and roadster and focused on bringing a perfectly finished scrambler to Indian market and create a benchmark bike.

    Himalayan started this segment for us in India. And u have to learn from your mistakes, so it did. Now it's a fine machine.
    Compared to Yezdi, Himalayan is still a better product. I wish competition was tighter, so we could welcome improvements in Himalayan. But still, It's the king.🤴
    I still want to see fully loaded Himalayan with all new Bells and whistles.
    Just want some very good motorcycles..

    Great video, thank you! At least I understand now, why Yezdi aren't yet trying to conquer the European market. Their bike looks qood though... Sadly Xpulse aren't sold here either. I'll sit and wait and hope that Honda CRF300L become available, when RE450 reviews are out.

    Hello Schumi.. as you mentioned Xpulse 4v would be a better pick compared to Himalayan or YeDi Adv.. Does the same applies compared to new classic 350? As the bottom end mid range and top end is almost the same.

    Both the Royal Enfield Himalayan and yezdi adventure are great ADV motorcycles in thier respective form.both looks retro simple and purpose built bikes. The yezdi has an edge on modernity like having LED lights, full digital meters, liquid cooled engine and it also has edge on performance. However Himalayan is slightly better in terms refinement, comfort, better ride quality it also Ride's easy on city compared to Yezdi. Sure the Himalayan Misses out LED lights all around, the meters looks weird especially with the tripper nav also its little slower in high way performance but its still has proper adv feel to it. Between these 2 my choice is the Himalayan.
    If you want performance, better handling,ADV then KTM 250 adventure can be considered although its not this comparison.
    The video was realy good .👍👍👍👍.
    Do a comparison between some 250 cc motorcycles 😄👍it would be a interesting story.

    I have test ridden both and I think the performance on the Yezdi is just so much better, if you don't consider off roading as much but just touring what would you suggest? Given the power delivery and top end wouldn't the Yezdi be better?

    • @deveshsharma_mountainshrink
      @deveshsharma_mountainshrink Před 2 lety +1

      Absolutely on open highways but the moment you hit slow winding mountains/hills one will get fatigued earlier on yezdi due to poor pulling at lower revs and frequent gear shifts. And it happens , one gets fatigued after hours , it’s a fact. How I know? I have a Himalayan and an interceptor and guess what ?- despite lighter clutch and more power I get tired of shifting on interceptor more than Himalayan and there are many people like me with the same thought. That’s why long strokes command a cult following.

  • @RizzlyBear_05

    There's no compass in the 2021 Himalayan.. you get a gear position indicator.. Which is actually helpful in city riding

    @abhiraambharadwaj1556 Před 2 lety +1

    Within this price range, for all off-roading lovers I think Xpulse 200 4V makes a better value at the end of the day and a Dominor 400 for people who are more into touring. Sad part of RE and Yezdi is that they are focusing mainly on the price factor and not on the overall product for the much hungry and big Indian market. Nobody is capturing the mid size 500cc segment (hopefully KTM 490 twin cylinder comes up soon). Hope they move ahead of the price factor and make better products to make a difference in the international market as well which they are capable off. Indian market has grown remarkably and is open for bigger and better bikes which is underestimated by most of of the manufacturers.
