Yezdi Scrambler | First Ride Review | Is It A Proper Scrambler? | PowerDrift

- We have the new Yezdi Scrambler, after what feels like forever! First glance and you’ll realise this Scrambler is not what you’ve seen until now in photos and videos. That’s because this is the standard motorcycle, without any of the optional accessories, as it’s sold. It gets a 334cc air-cooled engine based on Jawa Perak’s but tuned to suit its persona. Being the only motorcycle in its segment, it does enjoy exclusivity. But is it a proper Scrambler? Shumi finds out.

Where is adventure review
Great review Shumi. A bit of a cop out in the end but what I gather is that the scrambler is not ready for prime time yet. Hold-off until later revisions or the RE scram 411.
(Very clever with the quote there.. you're trusting the buyer psyche to make the decision.
Those who put emphasis on "Forever has no meaning.." as in 'Yezdi forever' will not buy. On the other hand, those people who put emphasis on the "live for the moment" will buy the Yezdi scrambler)
👏 👏 Well played Shumi, well played 👏 👏
burned the bike alive, get adventure review out soon ❤️
@Shumar, it looks like the the suspension tuning and engine is not same for all the test bikes. The bikes which I test rode here at Burdwan/WB, were butter smooth and very peppy. I could not reproduce any vibes in whatever way I revved it. Probably the test mule you got has an engine which already been ripped apart by test riders in the breaking in period. Same with suspension. The bikes here had a plush suspension setup and very strong braking performance. The fit and finish issues are uniform looks like. If you notice front fork assembly which holds the front mudguard mounting plate has a huge gap. I've noticed this in all the bikes in the showroom or on youtube review videos. Also in scrambler, on the tank, the separating strip between the two colours, in your case Green and Silver is coming out from the edge towards the handle bar side and this is same in all the bikes. The welding fit and finishes are very crude in all the models and the black paint on the exhaust feels like an afterthought. The silver paint on the exhaust tip and on the weld towards the bendpipe looks very cheap.
The highlight for me was butter smooth engine and awesome brakes.
Most people here with negative comments did not test ride the bike looks like and arguing about bias and all. We all have our own opinions and reviews should be taken as guidelines. Cheers. :)
Roadster review???🥺
This review is for the folks who already own a scrambler from Ducati, Triumph or BMW. If this is going to be your first bike, go ahead and buy it. Nothing lasts forever but enjoy what you have while it lasts.
Intellectual weirdos don't see normal people's perspective.
To be frank now i stopped watching these reviews, cause there is a big disparity between what they say and what u experience while driving motorcycles, i took test ride of yezdi and u know what ? it felt great , the best i have ever driven, better than cb 350 and better than any of royal Enfield, and i m planning to buy one, these people throw u off with there techinical jargons and may be put their personal bias in their review, may be yezdi took forever to send the test units or some goodies, or what not ? i'll say go for test ride.
***Yezdi sales guy spotted undercover with other sales guys liking this comment***
To be honest, I somewhat are with you. I took the test ride the day before along with xpulse. The bike felt amazing. Punchy engine, surprised me by almost throwing me off when I reved it in 2nd and 3rd gear. Being an RE loyalist I did develop a soft corner for this bike. True scrambler ? Well yes you would need to do some changes, tyres handle bar raisers off-roadig foot pegs to start with at least.
Not every motorcycle buyer is a journalist
correct bro 👊👍
Better than RE your ass, Ride 650 twins and Jawa can’t even dream of about doing Machines❤️🔥🔥👑 like them!!
In general PD has started to become less humble and on the verge of being impolite. Nowadays Many videos just seem with unnecessary masala and over the top attitude. Just can be seen/felt in the tone of few of the anchors. This holier than thou approach doesn't typically last.
What still remains better is Cinematography, Editing and Music in many videos.
Anyway, good for them if they are growing. Just thought of writing this based on my personal observations.
When things don't go your way you crib , makes no sense fan boy
I bought this motorcycle a week ago, I've been cruising at 110+ for 400km and it feels like I'm doing 40km in a normal motorcycle. Took it off road, crossed rivers and everything. I was laughing the entire way. For me it's a perfect motorcycle and there is no other like this for the price point.
Lovely!
PowerDrift is sold to RE, so enjoy your Yezdi!
Bro don't believe this review. Even I liked the scrambler very much.
As i said in another comment, RE reached PD with a bag of money before Yezdi did.
Whats your opinion on heights. Does it uncomfortable for taller one ?
I don't know if this was a bad test unit, but this is one of the very very few PD videos that I can't seem to agree with. I spent the weekend with the Yezdi Scrambler (and the Adevnture). On Day 2, I was confident enough to ride the Scrambler like I ride my XPulse (well, almost). It was a lot of fun. Standing up was very easy. Jumps were very confidence inpsiring, and I actually prefered the stiffer suspension on the Scrambler. Engine had very little vibrations till the mid range (but I am coming from a BS4 XPulse and a BS3 Classic 350). I have ridden almost all the motorcycles
Quality issues bro... May be due to first edition
This is precisely the reason why Jawa and Yezdi were not keen on giving out their motorcycles to Powerdrift. The amount of bias is just is just sky rocketing in PD these days! Anything apart from RE is look down upon! Sigh! Wish you guys changed for good.
They reviewed the 1st generation himalayan to be the best which turned out to be the worst so chill just take a test drive and decide 🙏👍👌
@@pritamchakraborty4951 mate, the thing is. Media review units are often passed around and/or selected. The issue with the himalayan was QC.
That’s absolutely fine Neel chat! We can always disagree. I will point out that BS4 X and BS3 C are not my reference points. The current X 4V and the new C350 are. They’re both FAR better, on refinement, for example. And if you prefer stiff suspension, the Scrambler will feel good to you.
I always say this and I say it again - our reviews should NOT be more than a guideline or second opinion. Your opinion comes first and is far more important. Test ride and decide.
Weird review. I feel like the disappointment of not getting a review unit upset Shumi and he just didn't end up liking the bike. Also those awful forever comments.
Yeah, absolutely cringed everytime he made them.
Just saw YEZDI in my friend’s home. I loved the sound and when I rode it, I felt like a king.
Good average, beasty speed, powerful engine, and overall riding experience was brilliant.
Roadster or scrambler?
Already own, it's been a couple of days. I guess nothing positive has been said about the bike in this review...it is a hoot to ride around in the city, n yes the suspension is a bit on the stiffer side if u r going slow over the bumps but work perfectly fine if u r going over the potholes and off road patches that we encounter during our daily riding at 40kmph, so much that the bike maintains its line and is very stable. I love how eager the engine is and the accessories are pretty cheap too! Lot more to be covered in the review Shumi! Forever a part of PD army and Shumi fan!
Brother, even i think so. I am going to test ride this Motorcycle soon, and will come to the conclusion later.
He didn't get a "media unit" from Yezdi, that's why he is pissed.
Re gave something to pd
Had a test drive of Perak before pandemic...
Felt like riding a soulless bike...
Personal Opinion 🤷🏻♂️
@@WarriorOfTheSunset Could be but using the same engine doesn't mean it can't be tuned to be good. I tried Yezdi Adventure. Himalayan didn't even feel alive after that, leaving aside being soulless. My Sincere opinion. Not a tit for tat reply. I hope you believe. 🤘🏽👍🏽
its weird that all the other channels have given tremendously positive reviews for yezdis. I am fine with mentioning pros and cons but shumi just didn't mention a single good thing about this!
I really do like the design. But the rest is not impressive. On its own it would be okay, but the standard for 350/400cc bikes in India is sky high.
@@shu_mar How was the performance? I've taken test ride and personally feel it is better then the competitiors (not by looking at figures). But it lackes engine refinement.
Schumi does a good job of criticizing our own home grown products as I have noticed. Being critique is good but its important to encourage our home grown brands. Am sure he will review differently for some other product that he likes individually as he mentioned that a certain bike is the best slow motorcycle u can buy. Owning and riding all litre class superbikes and then reviewing smaller bikes and that too our home grown products am not surprised the review here. Its a total negative review and not a single good thing said about it. People are loving the bikes but how a certain review can change the decision and thinking of the person is just amazing to see. People should try the bikes themselves and take decision based on their experience and not what someone says just because they can influence u better.
@@ashishm8611 he does say that you shouldn't trust reviews to a certain point that you make purchase decision based on them. Go get a test-ride, get a feel of bike and then decide if it's the one for you. Being a slow bike is not bad as long as the intention of that bike is being slow and comfortable. Btw yezdi comes under an umbrella of foreign brand whose india manufacturing and distribution is handled by Mahindra.. so it's not completely indian unlike that certain bike🙂
@@chotu7407 oh maan lets pray that desh ka loha fans never comes to bikes.... 😕
I am a Powerdrift fan, and seems there is bit off, filled with a negative impact, could the motorcycle be that low, seems not so, no offense but there are reviewers out there praising it for being the cheapest scrambler atleast by its looks and mind it there are a tone of motorcycles out there that have bad postures and stock setup. I mean this a brand's come back and the hype could lead you to disappointment, but note that at this price range the torque and power delivery are impressive if not blowing you away. Not a bad motorcycle. Could appreciate and give feedback so the forth coming productions could be tweaked as per that.
The cheapest scrambler and power is enough to bet your money on this or not is your choice.
I still am a PD fan😎
Here is a FOREVER for you Shumi
PowerDrift has forever been spot on when reviewing cars but their bike reviews suck since... FOREVER! 😂
Haha well said!! 👍
The review has more forever jokes than the positive points!
Test rode the bike 2 weeks back and the feel, handling and brakes are so damn good! Yes the suspension is stiff and the engine is not as refined as meteor or highness but it isnt that bad either.
Honestly, you summed it up better than the review.

Have got a positive feedback with a lot of my friends. Took my friend’s scrambler for a spin and it felt quite good.

I personally rode my brother's yezdi scrambler. It's a total beast. Don't know how he found such issues, i never did. 😂
Because he has ridden all sorts of bikes out there. And if you love the bike you ride, all the pros and cons don't matter.
When you get the bike very late and they're so many positive reviews already there.... This is how PD wants to stay apart from others 🤣

Surprised. The guys who find so many pros in practically everything that moves, couldn't find more than a couple of pros in one of the most liked motorcycles of 2022 (at least until now).
While everybody here is sugarcoating the obvious, I'm calling it out. From the over-emphasis on cons to the unasked jokes on the brand's messaging, everything said and the unsaid in this video screams "I'm angry that Yezdi didn't send us a test mule".
I've seen your journalism videos, where you mention how hard it is to get a manufacturer to send you a test mule if you're a beginner. So I get it, you guys are pissed off.
It's also human in situations like these when biases creep in. Quoting your own lines "with power, comes responsibility." I wish the biases hadn't crept in. As an ardent consumer of PowerDrift, this review was disappointing.
And this comment box is a clear testament.
PS I'm not associated with any manufacturer, the views here are my own.
We can watch many more egg basket challenges if that brings in the $$$. Just don't let other external factors affect your reviews, that's all we ask.
Well said..👏
Forever was an overkill. The Yezdi Scram is a decent value for money proposition at its price point.
Go ahead and own it. Good bike for an average joe. Yezdi just handed over the keys to everyone who were actually interested in their bikes without giving much bhaw to esteemed reviewers
No preconceptions, just first hand experience.
This is disappointing. I love how it looks and there will certainly be buyers for that. It will compete against the Neo retro Honda 350 RS even though not a scrambler. I hope Yezdi fixes all these issues in their second generation scrambler and hope they don't take FOREVER because I can't wait to ride a "Shumi approved" Yezdi.
It's still competes with those .. actually .. pretty much head to head ..
Then you will never ride a yezdi
@@piyuscool Let's see. 🤷🏾♂️

Bad review by pd over here. I think he’s not ready to accept the fact that Yezdi & Jawa is going to lead the segment soon, given that he’s an ardent RE fan.
Nothing lasts forever even the POWERDRIFT.
I also took a ride of this machine and i will say only one thing its a power house...man the power delivery is awesome and braking...i think that was the best braking i have ever done the brakes have a very good bite as per this powerful bike... refinement is good i felt no vibration in city...and if we talk about noise i think you will love that noise when you get used to the bike

Looks like a review when someone gets you angry at a restaurant. Good food gets overlooked.
When you ride it , it feels like a gun bullet , well designed, a balanced design of colour of bike in many parts.
Highely satisfied with the bike❤️
If you really loved old Yezdi bikes and if you have made up your mind to go for same then GO FOR IT!
I took a test ride myself and I hate to say this but I strongly disagree with you.
Well a test ride that lasts for a few minutes can not be compared with the experience gained with those test units, however, I found those vibrations to be well contained and it felt like the engine had it's own character. No doubt that it is not as refined as a Japanese motor but the way it delivered power 💪, made me a fan of it. The stiff suspention surprised me at first, however I was able to understand the internet behind it. Most riders are not going to ride it solo, hence with the added weight of the pillion, the bike felt comfortable to say the least. It was precise in its turns and you feel the road just enough to not feel disconnected from it.
Just to make it clear, I am not a fanboy for YEZDI Or JAWA nor am I paied by them in any manner. This is what I personally felt in my short test ride, and the experience may be different for others.
Also I hope Mr. Shubhabrata reads it. ✌
We can always disagree, no worries there. But when most bikes can work *both* with one and two people on board, the stiffness isn’t needed. The whole point of long travel suspension is more sophistication and control over a larger variety of conditions.
How much refinement is enough, is always subjective. But there are a whole slew of motorcycles in this displacement class that do better.
And almost all of those peers have better quality too.
As a reviewer that makes recommending one v difficult.
But it’s a recommendation. If you loved it, my review shouldn’t deter you at all!
@@shu_mar it's always interesting to talk to you man. 😁😁 I get what you are saying.
I am judging this bike from the perspective of someone who is probably going to ride it to and from the office and not as an on and off road bike. That's why I think that this bike will mostly spend it's time on tarmac despite its looks.
So is it true to being a scrambler?
Maybe not.
But it's definitely fun to ride for me.
✌😁
After watching 100's of other reviewers and then watching Shumi, my mind be like - "Ek Dam Se Waqt Badal Diye, Jazbaat Badal Diye, Zindagi Badal Di!"

honestly, i did ride the bike for approx. 50 kms, on off road and on highway as well, It was a great experience, I would say this is a lovely ride.
It's is, indeed!
I partially disagree on suspension part, because I drove this about 10 kms but did not felt discomfort as such. And engine refinement is also good.

Why do I see a predetermined mindset in this review. You pointed out a few facts well. Like it screams, stiff suspension. But honestly they aren't the only highlights of the motorcycle. I did a good ride on it and the positives outshine. Well and on the build quality, are the REs or Honda's better? Remember the tag on it :)
Thank you sir ji for giving insights. the views may differ person to person.
I think It's a very good looking motorcycle.. engine is powerful and smooth.. you don't really need to ride it at 40kmph in 5th gear to take a feel 🙏. The reality is most of the ppl will ride it in and around city.. As now a days most us prefer adv bike or sports tourer to shoot the moon.
Yes , It's not a hardcore off-road motorcycle so I think most of the janta can mange with stock tyres..... Even splendors performs very decent on mild bad terrains .
Tr may be little drawbacks like stiff suspension and then which brand doesn't have things little here and tr.
For eg:- India's most selling retro motorcycle brand has long list of complaints.
Enthusiastic spends a lot in after market accessories especially on retro motorcycles. it's good Yezdi is offering it at offordable cost and bike looks super sexy after updation.
I think tr is no such bike in this category at this PP. Now they need to just work on more refinement and service network.
And yes Nothing is forever ... I completely agree to it..
I may not have knowledge like you do when it comes to motorcycles. But I am riding since last 12 years and rode many motorcycles. And I rode this too. It was so fun and exciting. The acceleration, linear power delivery, smooth transmission, and a wide grip handle definitely adds to the positive aspect. Only thing is the tight clutch and sit could have been more comfortable. Nails on the look as well.
I think you took the FOREVER thingy last forever in this video and did not talk about the positives of the bike at all and just tried being too catchy and sounding funny in the video. We like PDArmy because of mix of both(technicality, unbiased details and catchy likes + quality of videos) and I found only the cranky/catchy lines here in this video and less of a first ride review. A rare disappointment from PowerDrift.
Sad that now a days we are getting bike reviews from powerdrift like a lovely eye treating and ryming short film..but inadequate info.. after watching these reviews have to go watch some other videos to know more about proper specifications..
In general the reviews I have seen in this channel are much better than the current one. The only take away for me from the review are bad "forever" jokes. Is the scrambler soo bad?
I am a PD fan since PTR days, but this review somewhere seems to bash Yezdi coz they probably didnt lend a motorcycle for review earlier? Not sure, but I will wait for the adv review. Hope wont take forever … :D
All this time they hinted at their dislike towards the new Jawas and Yezdis, often instead choosing to just ignore it. This time they've gone all guns blazing and spewed hate all over the motorcycle.
Surely, PD has reviewed poorer bikes with worser engines or suspensions in the past but never have they gone so overboard with their agenda. It's so appalling and shows they have no shame or any integrity left.
Honest and brutal review but I totally disagree with the suspension part the unit which I rode had completely fine shock absorbers , finish is not that good if you see with pointy eyes but for a lay man it's a good bike

I went against a learned and sound advice and got myself a scrambler (not Yezdi), a few months back. Its unrefined, gruff, parts are expensive, customer service is bad from the dealer, spares have a long wait (takes forever to reach the dealership) BUT, does it put a smile on the face every time I ride it - YES. Does it suit the kind of riding I like - YES. Have I enjoyed it so far, despite the ills - YES YES YES. Do I regret not listening to the sound advice - NO. I absolutely love my bike, am so grateful that that I went by clarity of my heart than by anything else.

Mildly disappointed Shumi, you were sounding pissed from the word go and such a short review came across as half hearted, especially coming from you (have been an avid reader/follower of your work for a while and loved how passionate and poetic they used to be). I support that one should always expect more from the product but to just beat it in the whole video seemed a bit unfair. I have test ridden the scrambler and I may not be technically as thorough as you but the bike does have the potential to sing to you by the way of how it looks and how peppy the feel is. Disclosure: I run a RE & Jawa dealership each in different cities, have an emotional connect with both and happy to see both grow and ultimately give products to riders that gives them safe, joyful experiences.
Sir I wish you a lot of success in your business. Running a dealership of both these brands sounds awesome, exciting & interesting.
@@amitkrupal1234 Thanks for your wishes brother, happy miles!
Not sure what happened here, this review feels a little off.
I am a duke 200 user and have covered over 50,000 KM on my Duke.
I test rode both the Adventure and Scrambler few days back. Fit and finish were quite good. Performance was more than enough, felt certainly better than my Duke 200 in city. Engine felt smooth too, in mid range. Overall, a highly positive experience. I loved the design and comfort.
I was not expecting from Shumi, may be our taste don't match. Or may be, I need few more KMs on the Scrambler to understand it better.
Guys, Test ride before buying any bike. Don't follow reviews blindly, including mine.
I love RE so much that i look down on any other bikes that compete them 😀, because RE doesnt sell only bikes they also sell emotion, feeling, ( this though come to my mind when i first see this review)
😂😂
You should take a test ride first and decide for yourself. I personally felt it was very comfortable and powerful. Good manoeuvring around corners and off roads.
Hey PoweDrift! Awesome video as always, but I just had a suggestion, could you guys include the vehicle's sound/exhaust note at some point in the videos? Might only be me but it just feels very strange to not hear any sound of the vehicle in a review.
It’s on our Instagram! Been there for weeks! But suggestion noted
We shall try for that!
That observation is spot on mate
Yeah nice suggestion mate! Sound is really important for a non electric bike. Shumi sir, also please show the fit and finish of the bike closely. And odometer could also have been shown. Maybe two reviews can be made.
@@shu_mar Yes I follow you guys and already saw it, still wanted to have it in the review.
PD going brutal on this bike probably because every other small content creators got hands on and started posting videos on the bike before any mainstream media could get hands-on one of these models. This could be my own speculation but us viewer's attention is more imprtant to media business.
Nope. The lateness bothers me but I’m not ever going to let that affect a review. That’s how professionals work. Denial of access making reviews negative is not how we work. What I saw and felt on the ride is what’s in the video.
Good insight shumar. My bad.
Whooa! Didn't expect this. It takes guts to do such a review. Someone calm down Mr. Savage Shumar. 🤣
Everyone is talking good about this bike and than comes PD's review.. Indirectly you said it's a bullshit bike.. And you have also not covered everything..seems like PD team was in hurry.. I have ridden it and i loved it.. Far better than RE and Xpluse... Not impressed with this video bcz you have missed alot about this bike.
That’s okay Safarnama. I can only report what I saw and felt.
Waiting for the yezdi adv story eagerly , I'm blown away like the way it rides it's suspension the power deliver the light steering also the off road capabilities which I got a chance to test at an event of Yezdi Trail Attack...waiting for your opinions ..cheers
Kintu eder reviews gulor opor beshi bishash kauro na bhai. Eder aunek background rajneeti thake reviews niye. Noile Eder cholbe na tho. Wait for user reviews for few months regarding reliability. Then pick if you like and feel connected. Cheers!!!👍🏽
Yezdi should learn from Royal Enfield on how to treat automobile media so these kind off review don't happen forever 😂😂
Engineers behind this product works day & night, put their skils and brings results to the user.
And so called influencers like you judge them considering yourself a specialist without any technical background reviews their product.... FOREVER ☺️
Hey PowerDrift
The bike has a liquid cooled engine but it's written in your description that it has a air cooled engine
Great video otherwise
Oops! Thanks for pointing it out!
I rode the bike and I observed that we cannot ride below 30kmph even in second gear. You have juggle between 1 and 2 in city bumper to bumper traffic. I tried to push it from 20 at second gear but I stalled it and it happened twice. But that's not the case with adventure.
Same happened with me, I am confused how all the comments are postive about the engine. Honda CB 350 RS feels much better in refinement and ride quality segments.
Frank review on the Scambler. Yes, the "Forever" did seem to go on forever.
Crisp review. Yezdi finally has made a SCRAMBler for the masses . Scramblers got to have funky color options and yezdi has 2- Orange & yellow....Cool Unique Motorbike this...
I have been waiting for this review FOREVER but i have got to say, the loose ends on this bike will take FOREVER to be fixed. I seriously loved the back handed compliments Shumi is able to deliver.
Thanks Rajat!
@@shu_mar Just because Classic Legends could not provide you with a "media unit",.you left no stone unturned to demean them and their bikes? Would be great to see if you have the guts to even say ten per cent of this on a unit supplied by the manufacturer. Oh, and this is coming from someone who's Classic Legends' biggest critic. Thodi to sharam kar lo chicha. 🤦
Yezdi's new scrambler is a unique motorcycle in its class.
It looks Super, just like a proper scrambler should , especially with all the accessories on it. The design is inspired from the triumph and ducati and that is a good thing. The colour options are also very impressive. Then the performance, it has enough power and torque for daily usage. Overall the scrambler has some issues here and thier. but still its motorcycle should be considered in this price point. The scrambler has its own uniqueness and old school charm when compared to bikes like husqvarna svartpilen 250, honda CB350 RS,,ect.
That makes it Worth the money🤩.
Dude, your fake reviews are looking cringe nowadays. Yezdi got to work on their fake commenters. Marketing team Hello. 📦
I personally test rided the bike its totally fine with an excellent performance
Very much thanks PD and shumi for this right on face honest review....
The fit n finish, paint jobs are not upto the mark.... It looks marvellous on our 6 inch phones.... But in a very bright sunlight under our eyes, everyone must go n check it thoroughly.... 👍🏼
Bad review by pd over here. I think he’s not ready to accept the fact that Yezdi & Jawa is going to lead the segment soon, given that he’s an ardent RE fan.
The points Shumi raised maybe true but this is India's first indigenous affordable scrambler , PD could have atleast done a detailed review over the different terrains it does i.e. the city, highway, moderate off-road response , or maybe a shumi-varun camparo with an expulse to show what this bike is actually good at and bad at , but instead a 6-minute long disappointed expression video was not what I was expecting , but anyway. Hope they do justice to the other two.
Do you know how we complain about everything wrong with the media on TV channels. Its kinda like the same thing with PD when it comes to their reviews. There's no integrity left.
Is there not a single good thing about the bike ? I mean seriously, you can give RE so much hype but this doesn't even come close ?
That was a nice and honest review sir👌🏻❤
I have test rode this bike today. I test rode it immediately after test riding Yezdi Adventure. I felt like the Adventure is more comfortable in riding.
Turn radius, tight clutch and engine heating are the problems I have observed in Adventure. Otherwise, the ride quality was really good. On the other hand, Scrambler was more like a Jawa 42 or a Honda CB 250 RS. The suspension was stiff as was told in the video. Although it looks very cool, it didn't feel like a proper off-roader, as I could easily feel all the bumps on an off-road strip that I rode. Power and torque were good on both the bikes. Compared to Adventure, it was more agile due to lower seat height and less wheel base. It will be good for commuting. Although the clutch was hard, the gear shifting was very smooth and tall gearing on both the bikes. Engines of both the bikes were getting super hot even for short rides. we won't feel the heat while riding but it can be felt once we stop.
I am looking out for other's experiences to decide which bike to choose. Kindly share your opinions or experiences. Thankyou🙂
I own it and its a wonderful machine great pick up and handling
As per Shumi's advice I thought of upgrading to a bike from a car. This is that one bike that hit my heart. But, like any other school crush, going only by looks may not be good idea. Stiff things hurt ur back in both the cases. Planning a test drive on 5th, will see....
Best of luck! Let me know what you thought!
Powerdrift will "forever" be the best review channel ❤️. Great work Shumi.
Foreverrrr had no meaning for those who live in the moment 😉
Waiting for shumis positive view on scrambler; Crying in the corner 😭
Well I was waiting for your review and I’m quite surprised that you are the only one who spoke with honesty to compare what you said I need to test ride the Scrambler to feel the same. I took the test ride for Roadster it was pretty shocking except power rest all falls behind. Clutch and gear shifts feels so hard which is not practical if you compare with the other bikes in the same segment. Well looks like we need to wait forever to get the actual bike that we expect to ride. Until then will shift my mind from buying Yezdi for now ✌️
Honestly I loved it in videos , images , launch day reviews , and then I went to showroom to test ride it . Damn , it looks gorgeous in person and that’s it , from there it turned upside down for me . Suspension is very stiff , turning is tough , uphill ride is a major task , weight balancing is hilarious , and sound oh my my , the exhaust sound is weird, it makes more sound than it actually runs; ajeeb. It is not a Perak level refined engine . So please anyone who wants to book it , consider what Shumi has said , because I myself wanted to book this . But now going with CB350RS for sure . Go for test rides , there is where you will get big differences in your own opinions, or you’ll end up loving it , cheers .
Lol you are saying the same exact thing shumi said in the video. Stop trying to sound like a smartass by copy pasting other's opinion

Yezdi is the way to Go..
It's going to lead Indian market.. No barriers fir sure 👍👍👍
This was a very helpful presentation.
I am studying all of the scrambler options and I stumbled on this company. I will continue my research and plan to be riding soon and promoting my bacon company on the bike I choose.
Please share more insight on options and Bacon On!

Ahahahahahah! And I’ll be the vocalist and call myself Axel Eration!

I like PD and Shumi's videos in general but I am sorry. Something about this review feels off. Doesn't seem very honest.
Awesome review...on point as always. Took a test ride of the scrambler and it's nothing amazing as many CZcams videos say it to be. Seems good for someone as a 1st bike only.
Shumi small suggestion
In PD videos i have always found thhat the background music is on high volume once your voiceover is finish and it happens frequently. If in case we can minimise the gap between 2.
I have to agree on the low end torque and suspension stiffness problems. Otherwise the bike felt good to me. I haven't rode the Adventure yet. I'mma wait till I test ride it and then make a decision between Scrambler and Adventurer.
This is precisely the reason why Jawa and Yezdi were not keen on giving out their motorcycles to Powerdrift. The amount of bias is just sky rocketing in PD these days! Anything apart from RE is looked down upon! Sigh! Wish you guys changed for good.
They won't. It's a business afterall. However it's heartening to see many people seeing clearly through all the bullshit and calling out Shumi on his yellow journalism.
Very disappointed video by powerdrift
Not as disappointed as I am bro. That bike has SO much potential!
Can we use the yezdi scrambler for Touring? Any way to soften the suspension?
