Awsome guys loved it, Always good seeing new batreps. Love all the converted high elves they are sweet. Forgetting to press record is something I seem to manage everytime I film one hahaha.

Haha yeah bit of a spoiler watching it that way round! Although I did get quite lucky, ultimately the Last Alliance heroes are just SO good!

Thanks, plan is to release the tournament review so you can see how these armies got on at Warhammer World and then go dark for a bit and film some kind of "Season" to have consistent releases in late spring kind of time...

Love the report, top quality production. I've watched lots of these and skipping the majority of the normal combats and movement is key and just watching the important fights is great as well. My only slight suggestion would be to put the Fight value on those stat cards you have as that is the decider for the dice rolls. Loved the tactics section as well
Thanks very much! Great shout on the Fight value, I will include that in the next report (and could have it change with Heroic Strikes etc). I did have all the stats at one point but it was too much to take in and not sure where GW stand on that.
Really glad you liked the tactics section because I've not seen that elsewhere and felt uneasy making because I am definitely not a top tactician..! :)
@@twotreesgaming you can replace the will as its not really relevant for most things. Also dont be uneasy at the end of the day it was quick and too the point so even vets will just use it as context to how the game is going

Thanks! It's a Deepcut Studio Stalingrad map. It has tank tracks that we've hidden under houses so not perfect for Middle-earth but they have lots of other good ones. Haha we are indeed! And I think my answer to "have I read the book?": cover-to-cover is technically no, but I have listened to the audiobook many times!
Great battle report! Really enjoyed it. The only thing that stood out to me (apart from Young Thorin's infinite might!) was at 29:10, a Warrior of Thror shielded while he was in combat with a fellow Grimhammer. I'm fairly certain you can only shield if all friendly units in the combat can shield so, he would not have been able to (not that it mattered!).
So I just learnt something new! Checked in the rules and you are indeed correct, we always just played that you double the shielding dice but none can make strikes. Can't promise this won't be the first of many mistakes..!
@Two Trees Gaming the only reason I know it is because we played it incorrectly and learned the hard way!

But Elendil is King Aragorn with a head swap, Gil-Galad is Imrahil with some green stuff and the Numenor Captain is Hurin the Tall with a head and arm swap. :)

The last alliance heroes had some good luck, but it was a great battle.
100% to both points! And it's an army that really relies on its heroes so a bit of luck goes a long way.
@@twotreesgaming I agree, I've played last alliance before, and when you're lucky they can wipe out an entire army or they roll bad and die.
Where are the elves and mounted numenorians from?
They're all converted - I'll hopefully have a little section about the armies in more detail in the next video with the tournament review, but Gil-Galad is based off Prince Imrahil, the King's Guard are Galadhrim warriors, Elendil is King Aragorn and the Numenorian Captain used to be Hurin. :)
I should have won but the other team scored more goals but I was winning until the game ended. Having said that, one turn, a few lucky dice and the whole game changed.
Haha exactly! But then we wouldn't be brothers if we admitted when we were bested..!
22:15 im pretty sure young thorin cannot have orcrist in this army list , because legolas hasn't given it to him yet....
Yeah we realised that later but luckily we only used it that once and it didn't have a massive baring on the game... Also, Aaron's a massive cheat. :D

17:13 Why didn’t Thrain do any F rolls? He had 3 F left when he got wounded by Gilly.
Just a case of me editing it too quickly together and bad camera work! 😂 You can just see Aaron picking up his Fate dice about 17:17. If we were pros, he'd have waited and we'd have filmed it a whole lot more dramatically!
