Loving the format of the new podcast and the legendary legion idea - I think you nailed it! Excited to see the display boards come together, they sound epic. Do I spy a battle of the five armies coming together as your big reveal… 👀

Thanks, yeah it's good fun to pitch the legions. We have to deliberately avoid talking about them till it's podcast time now! 😂 And there'll be a full tourney review with the board at some point 😁

I'd give Gandalf Master of Battle, because he's literally organising everyone, he's everywhere like you said.
Or possibly if Pippin's in combat, Gandalf gains a free heroic combat. If separated Gandalf has to join or get as close to Pippin's combat as he can. Possibly even do the same for pippin to Gandalf. To replicate "this is no place for a hobbit"
I love the Heroic Combat idea! Definitely both ways - they 100% save each other.
Master of Battle I really like the idea of too, I contemplated a 12" with me at one point too so he could effectively command a really wide battle line that could be interesting...
Love to see another great podcast episode lads, plus a super cool sounding legendary legion. Keep up the great content👍

Love the idea of a defenders of minas Tirith legendary legion. It was ridiculous that there wasn’t one in the war in Gondor supplement. For courage you could always do a 3 dice roll and take the higher dice. Opposite of channelled terrifying aura
That would be a good idea, and a nice tidy way to do it! And yeah, hopefully we'll get.an official one at some point 😁

Hey guys just for your information, I'm pretty sure Hurin's special rule "line of command" does not actually work if gandalf is your leader because the rule specifies that your leader must be a Gondor Hero and gandalf does not have the gondor keyword, but I could be wrong.

Oh yeah, right you are! I'm assuming it's Aragorn that will need defending more as he'll be stuck into combat (and under Leon's control 😅) whereas Gandalf should be able to stay safe around the back of the board so hopefully won't make too much difference but great spot and thanks for pointing out 😁👌
It's madness that Minas Tirith didn't get a Legion in the Gondor book. A defence of the White City legion, with a buffed Gandalf and Pippin seemed an obvious inclusion.
Couldn't agree more! I can see it being saved to launch with a new edition or similar now that it's been so long..!

@twotreesgaming glad your surgery went well buddy! Not gonna lie I'm glad you're not taking that haha! We're taking defenders of helms deep with a lot of the main heroes. It's terrible but such good fun!
