Great Review and as a gentlemen remarked earlier that Hybrid isnt new I would disagree and say it is actually new in how it works ! Unless that gentlemen can come up with a manufacturer that has done this before !
That gear selector is just great and very fast. Use it in my CRV and love every day. Also great advantage...: When stop and open the door, the transmission will go automatically in to park. Just great! Beside that, a big selector is so 80's... common...
@@stijnv_BE After a few months this gear selector feels super intuitive for me. The way it's designed asymmetrically my hand just automatically knows that the reverse is a 'leaver' - you have to pull it, and the drive is a huge square button with a metal layer can't really mistake it for a small neutral button. Sounds maybe a bit complicated but I can guarantee that if you own it just for a few weeks it's butter smooth and convenient, no thinking or looking whatsoever.
The hybrid system really isn't that complicated (nor new...). Not being able to even remotely explain it does take away from the credibility as a reviewer, even if meant as a joke. A small note on android auto, you can enable wireless in the settings, it's just off by default for some license reasons
Good review, thanks. I've found that Android Auto wireless does work, once enabled from the hidden menus.
First civic I’ve liked the look of for nigh on 20 years

A regular selector can be used without looking - although I guess you will get used too the position of the buttons after some time.

That sounds nifty, although my car has the a big selector I don’t dislike it but if you’ve had the new version you’d never want to revert back
Wireless android can be changed in the settings!

The car is very loud inside.
What are you on about? It's the quietest Civic/Accord they've put on EU market to date.
@lraazorl I drove it. Comparing to my golf is very loud in the cabine. For me that was the only box it didn't click.
@@YorgosEU I also drove it - no complains here. Up to 140 km/h was good enough.
