    Ichiro is such a gentleman and intelligent baseball player. Half the players in the league would've yelled in the umps face and gotten ejected, but ichiro realized there is replay and his job is done.

      It was a pretty awesome part about the play. Both players go for the play, miss it the first time around. Both go for it the second time, ump gets the wrong call, and all Ichiro does is object one time, pick up his helmet, and go back to his dugout.

      Ichiro actually got ejected once when the umpire called an obvious ball a strike and resulted in his strikeout, which is really really rare considering his mannerism. When Ichiro was being that mad, you know the call was VERY ridiculous.

    • @infamousian123
      @infamousian123 Před 8 lety +17

      He's getting old but the early gray hair explains how damn stressful it could be when you spent years and years and years of constant traveling and a shit load of baseball almost every day for like 7-9 months of the year. Its stressful. Imagine going into extra innings on a Friday night, game ends at like 11:00pm -12:00am and you already need o be ready for Bp at like 11:00am to 12:00pm. You know your gonna barely get any sleep and you didn't eat dinner yet. Sure people have jobs every day of the year but its different when millions of people watch you, everyone has haters and fans that are let down or won't leave you alone. Its hard, baseball has lots of pressure in it. When you have the ball everyone's looking at you. If you mess up everyone is looking at you. If your at bat everyone is looking at you. Millions of people. Add that to late dinners every night, practice next day followed by a game, its hard to be in the MLB. You really need to love baseball to death because you'll be drunk off baseball as you play so much of it and have barely anytime away from it even during off season since its not even that long until practice starts again. But after you retire in the MLB you'll be set for life. 43 years old, long way ahead of you, lots of money but for most its not enough to buy a 22.7million dollar house. But its enough to be filthy rich. After the MLB unless you have a clothing line or still sponsor a company I don't believe there will be any money coming into their bank accounts but for Ichiro, we all know he's going to be filthy stinking rich as he's a baseball legend.

    Look at the class.. He knew he was safe. His natural instinct was to scream and argue. He held himself back and just went to the dugout. He knew that the video would show and his words were useless.
