He never disappoints his fan even when he is 41 year old
I love Ichiro so much. I like how he places the bat down after a walk out of respect to the tool of his craft. Also his sliding technique is beautiful.
Chairman Meow lol he did that because he checked the swing and at that point all he had to do was let go, not necessarily because he was trying to be "respectful" with the equipment.
Phoenix he always does that, it is out of respect
I believe that he has said, when asked 'What do you think when players get mad and break their bat?' he answered: "I could never do that, I respect the maker of the bat too much."
@@Phoenix-ox2jr I believe that he has said, when asked 'What do you think when players get mad and break their bat?' he answered: "I could never do that, I respect the maker of the bat too much."
@@Phoenix-ox2jr When our society has lacked the fundamental tradition of giving respect not only to people but to inanimate objects, yes, I would expect people like you to not understand
Imagine this in a no hitter where the Marlins win 1-0 despite being no-noed.
This happened to me in RTTS once and I still remember it. Walked Pedroia to open a game, he stole second, sac bunt to third and then sac fly. I then go 8 perfect innings and lose 1-0 with 18Ks
Soooo clean. His game is just fluid and graceful.
DAMN 41 years old run that fast??????
Kaiser Fuchs faster than me ;(
JAPANESE PEOPLE EAT A LOT OF FISH.
@@drServitis xD haha! is this Tracy Morgan using this account?
@@furnitureconsortium I don't get it. I'm not an American. I'm Canadian. Can you explain?
Ichiro is ageless
Great Example of what old players are capable of, he can steal, hit, juke catchers (he was 39 and 40 when he juked out couple catchers) , not get injured and play in the field, and keep a calm temper. 40 year old range and he can still do so much.
infamousian123 its not what old players are capable of, its what ichiro, a baseball legend is capable of. Hes like mr the miyagi of baseball.
THE JAPANESE ARE A SUPERIOR RACE.
Idk what other old players can steal 2nd and 3rd base back to back. Please, point them out. I’ll wait... it’s sure ain’t Pujols. The old players that stay it’s either because the got a giant contract or they are power hitters. Ichiro isn’t the example of what old players are capable of, it’s actually the opposite 😂
I just love ichiros sliding technique...its smooth and flawless
Man he's fast
Such an obscenely talented player on both sides of the ball. Amazing baseball IQ.
All I can say is that I'm so happy I got to see Ichiro in my lifetime. I honestly don't think there was a more enjoyable player to watch.
His baseball ability and knowledge of the fundamentals are A+ but his respect for all things baseball is double A+.
that's a baseball player the a guy can do anything he can even pitch I believe he actually pitched an inning in mlb would of loved to have him in Boston!!!! deff hall of famer right There!!
Ichiro was without a doubt one of the smoothest baseball players of all time.
Whenever Ichiro gets walked, he always lays the head of the bat down first then lays the rest of the bat down perfectly. He does this because he has a deep respect for his equipment.
Like a samurai. Thanks Ichiro for the great moments.
I think Ichiro has a universal positive approval rating by everyone.
He does and should!
definitely. HE IS GOAT
HOF
Except baseball fans in South Korea. :-p
Goat. Fellas one of the best to ever play baseball in any era period
This my friends, is how you create a masterpiece in the art of sport.
Greatest player of all time
this old man is killing these fresh young guns.
damn he's so fast he hardly even has to slide. By the time the throw is there he's already dusting himself off.
He's like mid conversation with the ump by the time the throw comes in.
Just a beautiful baseball player.
look where is right foot lands on second and third. identical. he timed every stride and moment of slide with perfect precision... almost like hes done this a few times.
ichiro moves like some sort of cat
A NINJA CAT.
Everything about Ichiro is perfectly effective and efficient. He wastes nothing.
More reasons why he’s been my favorite player since his mlb debut
Ichiro is goat !
definitely HOF first ballot
Classic Ichiro.
500+ SB, not sure we'll see this often anymore
top 5 phenomena in baseball ever. Ichiro.
He is amazing!
Awesome. Amazing. Incredible.
I wonder how many times his coaches said, "Ichiro, we need a run." and he was like "OK". Only to continue to amaze hit after hit and run after run.
His single always means double or triple
This isn't new baseball, this is old baseball before the live ball. This is Ty Cobb ball.
So fucking graceful
Ichiro like Nolan Ryan 2.0. He can play till 50 and still be effective, seriously. 4,000 hits?!
Everyone talking about Ichiro and I’m over here like, “Is that Grady Sizemore?”
It was so sad watching him at this point in his career and knowing that the injuries had ruined him for good. Dude was going to be a Hall of Famer. Through Sizemore's age-26 season, his three highest similarity scores were with Duke Snider, Mookie Betts, and Barry Bonds. When his career ended just six years later, his best comp was Michael Cuddyer.
Sizemore was a lefty hitting Mike Trout when healthy
Ichiro is a badass! HOF
Ichiro is a god
I am convinced that the only person who has ever had a chance of throwing out Ichiro from right field is Ichiro.
Don’t you disrespect Yadier Molina like that...
@@unintentionaleffectiveness4393 I know Yadi has a good arm, but he's a catcher.
He was the best
Perfect lead off hitter
The good ol Rickey Henderson method of run production :D
Ichiro walking? Impossible.
*Asian guy scores*
Guy in production booth: Show me every asian crowd member.
The perfect baseball player. Period.
That whistle at the beginning literally exploded my brain
When I was a kid I got an Ichiro bobble head out of a box of cereal. It was pretty cool I remember it being around my room all the way through high school. Then it burned in a fire.
The greatest
if the right fielder was Ichiro, the runner Ichiro would of been called out lol
He should play a couple more years
Ichirois definitely the Flash!
wish he was a Cub!! wish he could have been on a winner some time in his career!!!
u literally put Cubs and winner on the same sentence, u do know about the 108 years of misery right?
You mean the misery that's thoroughly over?
Sure it was great for any baseball fans to witness, they look good again this year but the curse will be coming back soon... (meanwhile my Mariners need to get into the World Series first)
Evelyn Spencer no
진짜 존경스럽다
And that's how it's done!
there you go one of those 1 runs on no hits
Ichiroing man
That's fast
Stanton: Thanks for the RBI.
Not too many dudes at 40+ that can do stuff like this. I mean come on.
i love it
Dear CZcams Algorithm
Why are you suggesting I watch Ichiro Suzuki all of a sudden every single day?
Age does not slow Ichiro down

Jason Giambi ? Are you dumb?
+Yukyung Youn Albert Pujols
Adrian Beltre
Emmanuel Milete Dude Im not that great of a speller.By the way im not dumb
The opposing team must hate this, scoring a run without a single hit
To me he’s the best ever cuz he never worried about stats, just helping his team to get runs and play actual defense. Far cry from the 99.9% of the entitled pansy’s that play nowadays and swing for the fence every time but end up striking out most of the time!
almost can't recognize stanton with a 'normal' stance
A Grady Sizemore sighting?
Making things happen.
so idk about you guys but stanton's swing looked super bad right there. It was so much shoulder. May have just caught him off guard with the speed of the pitch, but dang, that didn't look like a big home run hitters swing.
Once he reaches third base, why no infield in ?? 😢i don't get it
#1 Babe Ruth, # 2 ICHIRO , # 3 all others !!
And that’s how you generate a run in baseball.
So, nobody gonna talk about how that pitcher got his sht lit up? 😂😅
Now he is 46 and basiclly everyone love ichiro no mattter he goes
run without any hits!
Mike Francesca said ichiro doesn’t belong in the hall of fame
Mike who?
Picked their pocket LoL
ICHIRO Suzuki is the best ! Pete Rose my A** !!!
arturo j guzman - What about Ricky Henderson?
fastest base stolen; under three seconds.
ichiro baseball college demo.
name of right girl @ 0:36

Back in the day when Stanton could hit the ball. Maybe Jeter wasn't so dumb after all.

This is why batting average is overrated.
