No different from tennis ......GET RID OF THESE UMPIRES ......OR GRADE THEM AFTER EVERY GAME ON THEIR PERFORMANCE ......AND THEN GIVE THEM TWO MORE CHANCES .....THEN GET RID OF THEM.
Computerizing the strike zone ALREADY EXISTS .....WE ARE WATCHING THIS VIDEO!!!!
The oldest "trick" in the book is the catcher moving his glove back into the strike zone. I learnt this when I was 10 years old.
I watched the last little league worlds and couldn't believe how BAD the umpires were ......and the catchers were doing their CORRECTING back into the strike so massively .....I couldn't watch. The pitches were going over the batter box line ....and called strikes.
NOPE .....TIME FOR CHANGE .......NOT TELLING US "IT'S A NO-NO TO DRAW A LINE IN THE DIRT .....WHEN IN FACT THE BATTER IS CORRECT .....particularly when an umpire can be making $350,000 annually!!!!
Let the computers do the deciding. At this last U.S. Open ....NOT ONE TENNIS PLAYER IS EVEN HESITATING WHEN ANY CALL IS MADE. It is ON WITH THE GAME. NO DELAYS. NO THEATRICS FROM THE DRAMA QUEENS .....BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE TO ARGUE WITH. DO THE SAME IN BASEBALL. THE BASEBALL OFFICIALS ARE A BUNCH OF OVERPAID ARROGANT PRICKS.

Only a matter of time before the red faced, veins in neck popping out amateur umpire responds in all caps saying you're not allowed to argue balls and strikes... (then put a period, then spell period in all caps and put another actual period.. Just the dumbest of the dumb 🤣🤣)
Sickening, in this day of technology with pitch Trax and similar gadgets..
You're not "arguing balls and strikes"... You are simply informing the umpire they've made an error., that's all there is to it. Most of us in our jobs get informed we've made an indisputable error, we're contrite, apologetic and try to do better. With umpires due to the decades of balls / strikes being 100% judement they view you as the problem and not themselves, and simply toss you out of the game.
They make the error, and they force someone else to suffer negative consequences (nice gig by the way)

I'm always fascinated when the batters. Who are standing sideways and not square with the zone. Can see the zone better that someone standing square looking directly at it. It's fucking mind boggling lmao

Angel Hernandez will be looked upon in history as a turning point and catalyst into the pitch-trax.

And likewise his name is the most well known in umpiring history. Best umpires, refs, officials in any sport are anonymous.

Ichiro’s vision is so good, he knows exactly where the pitch goes and can still bloop it to left if he wanted too... 🤣

Why do the umpires have such tender ego's when they obviously need to see the eye Doc 🤭🤭🤭

The beauty of a system in place that allows both the batter and the pitcher to contest balls and strikes with an incompetent umpire is they're still drawing lines in the sand except the umpires need to submit to their protest as opposed to just toss them out because they feel "insulted".
