Had a lot of fun putting my machine together a few years ago. I mad a vacuum table with mine and it's well worth the effort. Let me know if you need any tips. Ian
I have that exact machine and its such a beast. Super excited to see what you do with it
Congrats on taking your business to the next level! Exciting projects ahead! 💪👊👏👍😎❤️️❤️️❤️️
Thank you!! We are so excited!
So excited for y’all. Can’t wait to see what’s next. 😁
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Nice! Congrats!
I'm so excited for you two. This is my goal tool as well!
Yes! Thank you so much!
I was checking for the next video, and didn’t realize this was just two weeks ago. It seems so long ago. Hope you are enjoying the new toy.
Congratulations on your new machine CNC
Thank you!!
So exciting to see Team Woodbrew increase manufacturing capabilities.
Haha it’s about time! Thanks Cory🙌🏻
You need a WoodBrew logo plate mounte on the left opposite the Avid logo plate.
GREAT IDEA
I am so happy for you. That thing is going to make you serious money.
That’s the plan! Especially locally, but hope to get some things up on our website as well!
@@Woodbrew And in some ways save you money. Its like having another employee, that you don’t have to pay benefits or wages. Wow, could it replace Dylan? LOL.
Hi 👋, Dylan & Molly , Great territorial on assembling your new CNC router table, Especially as you’re both working together I hope you have a great success, When using this machine safety is paramount, mainly into respect of dust, You may think you have got sufficient dust extraction put my past experience you can come back the next day after clearing up and you have dust particles line on your surface on the floor and workbench.
Which you probably will be in inhaling, Sorry if I seem that I am pushing the safety aspect but I lost a colleague about 25 years ago. Insufficient extraction, So my advice is to wear a respirator and with one with ear defenders to protect your ears as well.
Great territorial looking forward to seeing more design work and manufacturing.
All the best to the future to you both stay safe, Retired Englishman now living in France. Phil from the moulin
I have a 4X8 Avid and absolutely love it. I use mine to assist my woodworking, but I probably should put it to work.
P.S. I set up my vertical table in the front and only have about 3" of cut area (deep) but I haven't needed more, so think about that. I also got the rotary attachment, but haven't used it yet :) Yea I need to get on that too. Congratulations on your new toy. Oh by the way I named mine "Archie" as in Archie Bunker, it screams a lot :)
That is a great name!
damn u did a great job. Shooot u gotta be a rocket scientist to put this rig together lol.
Great video! I don’t see the link in the description for the dust shoe…
I knew it, I called it. I don’t have the need for an Avid, but just ordered a OneFinity Woodworker.
😁😁
doggo looks like she's doing much better without the mange too.
oh l guess the CNC is cool too
Haha she’s doing great! It was actually just a skin allergy and never mange, so after 4 rounds of antibiotics, she’s looking her best!
Great machine you should put your control boxs on the wall i did works good in my shed now do pc stand too great video
Definitely want to make a computer stand!
Congrats, that is awesome. A name huh???? Will have to give that some thought…..
🤣🤣
Way cool!!! You guys will be surprised at the doors that will open up. The question is where you gonna put the next one?!?
This one can actually expand by just adding more rails, soooo might need a bigger shop at some point🤣
Where did you get the dust shoe for your 8.7hp spindle? You mentioned in your video a link, but I don’t see it. I’ve just completed my 5x10 AVID table with the same spindle.
Awesome build!! I get my Avid machine in August. Is that vertical table an option from Avid? I don't remember seeing that.
HECK YES! The "Vertical Table Kit" is really just an extra "electronics bar" and "Horizontal cross member". I may be butchering the technical names of these parts, but if you call Avid's support line they will steer you in the right direction.
No follow up video?
Congrats. I'm wanting just a standard 4x2 version. Maybe someday. How about Avia for the name?
Thank you! And that size would be amazing too!
Do you have the link for the dust boot?
Is this Good for heavy duty??
Let's go before things get weird.... as Dylan strokes the tall spindle shaft.... Think you might have been a smidge too late there Molly! :). John Malecki calls the mashoosinormous Avid CNC they have Miss Piggy. So I think you should name yours after a Muppet too. Like Animal. Or Gonzo. :)
hahah probably couldn’t tell you one muppet other than kermit😅 Still thinkin on a name!
Good Luck with Ava!!! Hahahahahahah!! DD
❤️❤️
Hi Molly and Dylan, great video! Interested in capturing your creative moments with our cool drone, Ruko F11GIM2 Drone?😎
how much was your machine? and thanks for the video
~15k, but there are more
entry level models that are much less
expensive. They will do all the same
things this machine can do, but usually
are a smaller footprint and can't cut as
quickly through material.
Hello dear …..
I need one like this if you allow me to ask you some questions
About this cnc machine thank you
What software have you decided to use to create the projects?
We’ve been testing everything back and forth and haven’t decided which to dedicate time to yet. I (Dylan) am very proficient at Sketchup, so I’ve been working through that process trying things out from SketchUp - V-Carve - Mach4. I’m have decent at fusion 360 so we’ve been dabbling with that too. Whatever we decide we will include it in future videos👌🏼
@@Woodbrew I went with vCarve Pro. If you want to evaluate it, easy way is to look at CZcams videos by “CNC Routers, Beginners and Beyond - Garrett Fromme”. Nice thing about a CNC, it is independent of the software. As long as the software generates the code. Looking forward to seeing what you do with that new “toy”.
Are you not making CZcams vids anymore?
How long did it take to build ?
I think it about 3 half days, so a day and half all together!
a cnc with a gigantic spindle.....Spinderella
Wait, that’s cute 🤣
How about Matilda?
I am sure you know the importance of having people sub and punch the like button. However, people are unlikely to do what they are not asked to do. In other words if you want patreons you may find asking for them is more helpful and at the very beginning of your piece you may find asking for people to “hammer” the like button increases participation. So that I eat my one medicine, will you go ahead and open up your Woodbrews with a request for Likes, Subs and Patreons?
Avid customer support ranks near the worst in the market!! They have gotten to big to care.
