The thing with the green giant is that they'd have to actually be able to keep him behind bars. When the list of crimes include moving the sun and moon with his bare hand, all I can say is good luck with that.
I believe they mean the most realistic amounts of jail time.

Just to point out, you CAN be tried twice for the same crime. If the crime breaks both US state and federal laws you can be tried by either or both. So you can be found not guilty in a state trial but then the feds can grab you on the courthouse steps and charge you

Well Santi is clearly not a lawyer, because sentencing does not ever work that way. Adding a second count does not double the length of time, so 10 counts would not increase jail time by an order of magnitude. As I understand it, federal sentencing guidelines are pretty complicated, but most crimes have a maximum sentence that can't be exceeded, and there is a lot that is up to the judge's discretion. Most of these crimes I think are unlikely to exceed 10 total years in prison for the perpetrators, and of course we're not factoring in the statute of limitations for most of these decades old crimes is well past expired. You'd have an uphill battle just getting a jury of peers to convict them in the first place, let alone sentence them to life sentences for burglary, battery, and vandalism!

I know that it's not really the primary direction of the channel anymore, but this is always the kind of theory that gets me excited: deep cut lore of food mascots, hidden secrets about restaurants, stuff like that.

There was an origin comic i remember seeing of the Trix Rabbit back in the 90's. I wish i could find it again, it was actually printed on the INSIDE of the box, so i wonder how many people even noticed it. In it, the kids are starting a garden, but they quickly get bored and go back to playing. The Rabbit happens to see them, and thought it was nice that they at least tried. He worked all night on the garden so the kids would be happy. By comic magic, the garden is overflowing with fruit when the kids see it again the next day, and they happily start harvesting. When the rabbit comes to share in the bounty, the kids turn him away, saying it's their garden and the fruit is only for the kids. Since then, the rabbit has only been trying to collect the fruit that HE worked to grow.
