That Nokia ringtone in the background was legendary!
That's how you know it's the early 2000s. Damn, time has flown by!
@@56postoffice Last time life was good. All went downhill after the early 2000s.
??
'' whose phone is that ? that's the second time it's gone off ''

"No doot a boot that" - Sir Alex
Steel is heavier that feathers 🪶
Absolute no doot aboot that!
fantaztic
Football boot bloody hell
Fergie classic 😅
00:16 if Roy Keane was in the room: “Who’s phone is that…”??
Sir Alex: "Whatever happens in the dressing room is sacrosanct."
Also Sir Alex: Imma put all this stuff in my autobiographies.
😂
Brilliant
Also I'm going to employ my mediocre family while getting rid of every legend without an ounce of respect.
Because it is the same to leak things which happen in the dress room when you're a manager and when you're not a manager
Didn't he get rid of Jaap Stam for the stuff he said in his autobiography?
It served a purpose whilst he was in charge, not after.
Imagine how many times Neymar would roll in the dressing room if it happened to him
He'd be rolling 'till today.
Neymar loves a dive, loves it
He’d ring the police
Neymar is not in the video, was seldom mentioned in this channel and the top comment is about him.
Lol
Imagine this in any other scenario. An employee is assaulted by his boss and the media go to the boss to ask how bad it was.
It was a dictatorship at Man Utd.
wasnt 'assaulted' u rat it was an accident
Are you saying being a professional footballer is different to stacking shelves down Tesco? 😲
@@AM2K2 just trying to highlight how much this wouldn't fly today. It's like the police interviewing an abusive partner about how their spouse got hurt then believing them.
@@Samouraii nah its still this way a lot. I complained to HR about my boss bullying staff and they emailed me and said they spoke to him and he denied it. I said of course he did but I stand by my complaint what now and they said there is no what now.
I love the way he used to glare at reporters and was almost like they had to draw the short straw to dare ask a question.
Controlled the media for fun. He was the master
If that was a footballer these days the manager would be facing attempted murder charges.
I mean Beckham 'couldve been killed'
@@jayansaini7093 unironically RVP could've been killed.
Helenio Herrera could sent in prison after a Roma player death because he didn't let a guy who had serious illness to had some time off
These days if you say you're English you'll be arrested and you'll be thrown in jail
@@huzzabearno you won’t
If the manager is the most important person at the club then this guy is the true GOAT of football
Sir Alex WAS the club. Man United look so lost without him in charge now.
Blew my mind.
Pep Guardiola.
And i watch football since early 90's.
Rio just dying to get home to play his Playstation 2
If a manager did that to a player now, the player would probably sue for assault.
Nah just throw it back at him
As they should
Best manager of all time no one was like fergie
These days a manager would have to spend a whole week apologising and probably still quit
Im sure Sir Ferguson will be remembered for others things than this episode. It was bad, but done is done, gone is gone.
Why was it bad? My understanding is that in truth Sir Alex punched Becks, would that be less bad or more? It’s a man’s world pro football not for softies or snowflakes.
Becks was a wonderful player for my club MUFC, but if Fergie thought he deserved a crack that’s good enough for me.
It should be noted that Becks never wanted to leave United so this incident didn’t rankle with him and they have made up since.
I was sorry when Becks left but in his final season United won all the big games without him. That says it all.
This gives me nostalgia omg
All started after Sir Alex asked David what is he doing for the second goal Arsenal scored.
David replied "it wasn't my fault".
Legend
When you don't under stand every word but you continue listining...LEGEND.
I feel like he was the only manager that the media actually feared and respected. Jose just used tire out the media with his mind games haha
One of the greatest managers we have witnessed
Much love to SAF
Was waiting all the while for Fergie to say "no doubt bout that".
Aboot
Yeah me too, no dooubt bout that.
yeah pitty it was a shameful incident or we could have heard how "pwoud he was of the playahs"
You can tell what era this is just by the polyphonic ringtone playing at 00:17 lmao
What a man!
I had to turn the subs on for this.
Such a strong desire to win can lead to this happening. Not that it's an excuse
It's a scar that I think Becks would be proud of
I will always remember the plaster Beckham wore on his eye afterwards... If I remember rightly he was a sub that game.. after a few mins the plaster had came off and there wasn't even a graze on his eye 🤣😂
“I couldn’t do it again if I tried, otherwise I’d still be playing”
Sir Alex implying he was aiming for Beckham
I don’t think you know what implying means, dude.
He was implying that if he had meant it, he would still be playing professional football, because it would have been one hell of an accurate shot.
I noticed the phone ring off the old phones
Need the video of Harry Redknapp being hit by a ball during an interview.
Search it pal
No wonder he's in the reserves
naw u dont
Imagine if that happened today to one of these modern day snowflake footballers. They would get their manager sacked.
Yh good no place in the game for that
@@NewWorldOrderFAIL for what? An accident?
Yea cause getting hit by a boot is acceptable
The irony of calling people 'snowflakes' when you're getting upset about an imaginary incident.
Na they would’ve retired!!
Literally no idea what he said in any of that
Classic ringtone
The last manager that united has..😅
Always in control
Got beaten by Arsenal and Fergie chose Beckham as the scapegoat.
What a manager 👏 🙌
He was just leading by example by showing the players how to hit the spot your aiming at 😂
In 2022 would he be arrested for this ? Sent on an anger management course ? God only knows
But I Mean if u get a boot kicked at your head of course you'd be angry. He's right about dressing room but they're also another side.
Retro good one
Had the English subtitles on and still struggled to understand him 😅😅😅
Unfortunately drinking does that to a person. He was fine to begin with him but as years progressed and with ageing his speech wasn't the best as it once was.
@@nintendosealed this is Scottish accent, not drinking problems, yes he loved red wine, but its very good for your heart and blood if you use it properly
I still cringe when I think about Beckham sporting a plaster on his little scrape the next few days after the incident!!!
And his hair pulled back so everyone can see
Because assaulting players is allowed.
It was stitches lol
@@mart4414 "Assaulting". LOL, stop now!
Amazing how he got rid of Beckham van nistelrooy stamp ince keane and still carried on winning
SS Retro, year 2040 “Sir Alex after Ronaldo’s Carrington boot incident”.
Ferguson is very lucky he never got punched or whatever. the things he would allow himself to do or say. Beckham seems like a calm, nice guy. if it was somebody with a short fuse, that boot may have been flying back into Fergusons head.
The standard of literacy in these comments is astonishing.
It wasn’t an incident, beckam was the target and furguson scored it well and i was happy!
No apology in sight, how SAF handled Beckham was shameful. The player had a lot going on but his teammates all said it never distracted him from his game. SAF paid a price for this, resulted in 4 years of transition.
Behave yourself
Then back into dominance. There was absolutely no need for a public apology. Handled correctly.
Beeeeavvvvvvvvvvvve
@@feargalvaughan1721 hope that was in an Ali G voice?
Facts 😁
Gaffer was a great coach, much like Phil Jackson in NBA.
Jesse Lingard swears by that code 🙄
Is it just me or does Sir Alex say “prayers” instead of “players”
It's you!
He was born in Beijing
No apology
Iirc SAF only say "go get some stitches".
But it was different era lol i often got slapped, kicked, and punched by my teachers at school. Lol
This was because we got knocked out the FA CUP by Arsenal and Ferguson blamed Beckham for summat and Beckham took it personally and Fergie kicked or launched a boot in his direction. The next match was Juventus at home which we wone 2-1 and Beckham had a slight cut with a couple of those stero strips or whatever u call them to make it look good for the cameras lol.
im looking at Rio’s lips for a long time
He apologized as a typical man😂
Hypocrisy from him, standard.
Sir Alex’s influence has gone and just look at the state of Man Utd now.
I've just gave the 1000 line on this video
So
What actually happened guys? I’m not familiar with this incident!
Fergie kicked a boot at Beckham and it hit him in the head
If he got grazed on head with a boot I doubt he would be saying forget about it
Simply simply lovley
Noooooooooooo
@@Colby_0-3_IRL_and_title_fights a... a.... are you okay?
back when the game was proper
People in the early 2000s said that about the 80s too. We had our fair share of softies in Fergies days
@@JohnKobaRuddy THANK YOU! So tired of all these comments on how it was then and jada jada jada..
What part of getting assaulted by your boss with a boot is proper mate? This glorification of hardline culture is laughable at best. Ofc it brought the best out of some players but to say its 'proper' is just delusional. The game has changed for the better and nobody deserves to be treated that way.
Fergie obviously finding his way out a tough situation, sat next to the choc ice ❄
A great man if ever there was one, should have been prime minister
Could have been worse. He could have hit Beckham's hair...NOT THE HAIR!
Hahaha yeah.. imagine if it took his eye out tho. He could of been blind. That would of caused a right load of hastle 🤦🤣
Keane did it
That's why Beckham joined the spice girls after that incident
Sir Alex was the equivalent of Odin !
Turned average players to monsters
Meanwhile Harry Maguire raises his boots to his own teammates... Got any comment on that? XD
Can you imagine if ole had done the sort now? Lingard would finally graduate 6th grade and write a tell all book.
Phone keeps ringing......I would of lost it....😉
Love the phone, probably Beckham's🤣
Fergie threw his toys out of the pram as Arsenal dominated them with Francis Jeffers up front
Imagine United used to have decent players and banter us hahaha
Tbh he should have sacked could have had his eye out… he drove United into the ground left them with an over the hill squad and no decent youth coming through
😆
We have a snowflake here lads

Eat your burrito, Jim....
If he threw that shoe at me. Well he would have been still at the doctors now.

Crikey that man SAF has some presence n aura about him. Just like everyone's dad you listen n behave lol or you gone alah Stam, Beckham n Keane.
Daddy Fergie ain’t proud. Sorry I got caught.
Beckham should have battered him to be honest
if only Ten hag had this character. he rather does the opposite and gives the media fuel to burn down the players.
The Premier League misses Fergie
…great stuff.. what a joker…!!!
Re: Jesse Lingard
Beckham went for SAF when it happened. They had to be broken up.
you wont see fergies like again, truly a one of a kind
What language is that?!
How did this story even get out? What snake in the dressing room told the press?
Legendary manager that commands respect not solskjaer
The next Salford city manager
What a lovely man...
🥓🌝
Lol 😂
how rio ferdinand was so white back in the day
Same guy who said van Persie could have been killed for being hit by a ball 😂
You clown, do you have any idea how much kinetic force there is kicking a ball at the back of someone's head where the skull is much thinner? There's a reason combat sports don't allow contact to the back or side of the head
He always was a tool
In the Picture Sir Alex was good for Showing that he is in Control of Everything...
But in Reality most of the Time he didn't have a Clue how to handle a Situation at all
Aye he was just lucky.
Alllllllllllllllll righty theeen
right right thats why he was at United for 30 years and won all those trophies because he had no clue sure
With the snowflakes playing the modern game, SAF would be suspended and fined accordingly. Loyalty is a big thing like SAF says. Accidents happen. Move on.
