And at the end of endgame, Steve said Sam is a good man

@@AshGreninja-xi9xi I honestly hope this is the direction they are going with him. Sam clearly gets the shield back at some point to maybe Sam beats him up. Lol. Form the first scene he was on episode 2 John doesn’t even know what he wants. Steve Rogers knew he wanted to be a soldier to help fight against the nazis, he never gave up and was true to himself. I don’t get any of this with John Walker. And some of the lines he uses are not very Captain America.

This line is funny asl😂😂
No doubt. Laughed my ass off...lol

I like to think that, now that he is a normal guy, he is in a kind of "Combat Hangover" where he is less powerful then normal cuz of being distracted or something

No, no, he's got a point.
@Abhinav_08 John Walker is NOT worthy to lift it.
He isn't even worth that uniform
ROASTED!
Bucky when he's the bad guy : Strong enough to tackle cap as well as black panther
Bucky turned Good : One punch is enough to send me to sleep
Bucky bad & Bucky Good are the exact same strength, the only difference is when he was bad he didn't care to kill as fast as possible while causing pain and now he doesn't kill so he's got to hold back. Remember in the flashback in Civil War he git beat by one of the Super Soldiers in that cell? Its because he was "training" them and see how tough they were or the scientists were seeing how strong they were but when the 6 super soldiers went crazy he easily walked out and even blocked and then knocked one of the Super Soldiers away and I think he did it with one arm. So he goes from being beat in a one vs one to smoking one of them with one arm when he's told to protect and get the other guy out of there
You would think the vibranium arm made from Wakandan tech replacing the old titanium Hydra tech one would help but apparently not
Remember - when you unlock the boss after the boss fight, he's nowhere near as strong.
@@dkjkaden I actually didn’t think of it that way, you actually opened my eyes for that detail😊

Did you forget about killmonger
3 new details: 1. Bucky didn't intend to harm any flag smahers, he used his right hand to fight and his vibranium hand to defend, again we can see him ask the rule no.2 to his therapist about not to hurt anybody, this shows how hard he is trying.
2. Carl, flag smasher's leader jumped onto another truck in the same way hulk was jumping through the desert in hulk (2002)
3. This isn't the first ti.e Bucky is being called as "white wolf" , black panther called him that in infinity war before giving him his vibranium arm back
What about Obadiah stane? He was kinda wasted.
@Sashers Funny Stuff true.

When Lemar told John "you cant punch your way out this time" I was reminded of when Black widow told Cap "do you really want to punch your way out of this one?" in civil war
damnt i was gonna say that lmao

@@thatoneboss2741 You probably did my man. Although I gotta admit you Are a man of culture.
Sheeesh
Me to.
My best quote of this episode is "if he was wrong about you, that mean he also was wrong about me", it was deep because Bucky always try to believe he still a good person like Stive always think about him.
Stive
Stive ;~;
Who’s stive is he a new character in the MCU that we haven’t met yet do you have some type of information that we should know about the future of the MCU?
Yeah and now Bucky wants Steve to know that he changed and he is good now so it’s kind of sad
Stive Roogers
“You can’t punch your way out of problems anymore” sounds extremely similar to “you can’t punch your way out of this one cap” which both came from close friends
An extra note I'd like to point out about John Walker:
In the back of the car, Walker mentions that he's jumped on a grenade 4 times in training, just like Steve did. But the difference here was that he also mentions that he was wearing a reinforced helmet every time. It creates a clear divide between Steve Rogers and John Walker because while Steve jumped on a grenade because he was a good man, John jumped on a grenade because that was what you needed to do to become Captain America, emphasizing how this Captain America was "manufactured" by the government
john didn’t know he was gonna become captain America he did it to save people’s life
Bruh your statement is incorrect, when you see a grenade anyone would do two things, fight or flight. And they both chooses to fight. Walker Is the best version of cap he can be.
No, the significance of that scene is because John told how many times he has done it. It just shows his arrogance. Not because of some BS wearing a helmet and manufactured by government whatnot.
I feel like you’re not recognizing the reality that Walker is an actual active duty soldier? He never said he jumped on a grenade 4 times in training, he simply said he’s jumped on a grenade 4 times. The man has a near 2 decade military service and numerous overseas tours in wars and THREE medals of honor, those 4 times jumping on grenades is more likely real combat situations, not training.
@@seulgi1211 its not arrogance to show what good u did n to be appreciated good people should do it more often people should know what they did instead bad news everywhere n a grenade will still blow ur face up if not head and body too its a fucking nade bruh
John Walker believes he's now the government. Steve Rogers instead believed he stood for the people. Such a huge difference in their mindset, but the people might mistake them to be alike.
AGREE
Because in the eye of the public, walker were made to look like he did it for the people. I think at the end, walker will make a mistake and the public will see him the same way as sam and bucky sees.
In the comics steve always believed he stood for the American Dream, ( you can hate me if i got that wrong.)
@Jari Casiwatched the ending of the 4th episode?😬
THIS IS AMERICA
The best line in this episode was "If he was wrong about you that means he was also wrong about me"
That was deep.
I have to admit, this hit me right in the feels as well.
Yeah the way Bucky's voice and expression change when he say that.
Why was that deep? It sounded cheap and illogical to me. Just a line to speed things up. Obviously, Cap can be wrong about one thing and be right about another.
@@gulliverthegullible6667 he was wrong about giving sam the shield and Steve was wrong about bucky being a good guy.
@@gulliverthegullible6667 Steve and Bucky are old friends, it shows how high Bucky regards Steve's words/beliefs. In a way Bucky needs Sam to exceed as it would reenforce his belief in himself.
I think Steve's judge of character is one of those near unquestionable things in the MCU.
I love that Bucky was completely done after hearing Battlestar.
“Did it ever occur to you that I did what I thought was right?” That was a straight gut punch. Everyone seems to care more about what they think is right, rather than what actually is right.
What actually is right is perception based.
@@abhiray2748 You’re totally right, that’s shaping up to be a big message in this show so far.
@@redpanda9367 that's why we need more people who think rationally before acting, example- steve ; the current captain America does everything impulsively like most people do now-a-days(cause behind chaos).
@@abhiray2748 that and it appears he thinks because he wears the suit and carry’s the shield that the respect Steve commanded should automatically apply to him. Which of course it doesn’t, and as he falls further and further behind Sam and Bucky, the more reckless and desperate he’s gonna get.
@@redpanda9367yes and the end will be interesting. The name says it all, it's not about the new captain.
There is a big difference between perfect human specimen John Walker jumping on grenades by putting a reinforced helmet over them, and skinny asthmatic Steve jumping on a grenade he thought would kill him.
It almost seemed like something Stark would say... "I think I'd just cut the wire." Mistaking cunning with selflessness.
What do you expect?! he has perfect normal human body and he's trained soldier, anyways there's no any clue that he was in exactly situation like Steve Rogers before, he can't prove anything that he had never experienced, people are overreacting about him even though he's just a worker who got job as new Captain America, all the blame should go to Sam Wilson who gave-up the shield [Capt's legacy].
@@rickydinto Sam gave up the shield with the idea that there should never be another Captain America because there will never be another man like Steve Rogers. He gave the shield to a MUSEUM so that the public could have a link to Cap and be able to pay respects and revere him as he should be revered. The government sees Captain America as a mantle to be wielded to sway public opinion and to be marketed as a profitable ploy which is why they had him making appearances and selling toys, just like they tried to do with Steve originally to push those War Bonds and get MONEY from the public to finance their war. Sam trusted that the government would respect and revere the shield just like he did, but alas he was mistaken. Steve was chosen because of who he was on the inside, John was chosen because of who he was on the outside.
@@andycotton6451

Another thing that I noticed:
Steve and John walker are opposites. In the scene were we see that John Walker has won 3 metals of honor etc... we see that the writers are trying to make us notice that the 2 caps are opposites
Steve was a nobody that became captain America not because of his record but because he was humble and was trusted to have that power because he would do good things with it
John Walker was someone who had a impressive record and was already strong. But he will most likely think highly of himself and take advantage of his status as Cap as the show progresses.
He never shows himself highly he is normal human being n like he said cap didnt do shit to earn it walker risked his life numerous times to be captain

Bucky isn’t lying on the floor because he lacks furniture. Sam once makes a comment that a lot of ex-soldiers sleep on the floor because they have become used to sleeping on hard surfaces and find beds uncomfortably soft. I think Bucky’s affinity for hard surfaces is an allegory for how he, unlike Sam, still struggles to adjust to civilian life.
He told that in the previous video already
@@arrow5529 yes
Hard times
He's probably also used to safe houses with minimal furniture.
This is actually common among Military people who've served in harsh conditions. I even found the hardest mattress available (The Plank) too soft.
Sam also meets a kid and jokes, "what do they call you, Black Kid?"
This foreshadows the character of Black Teen, whose super-soldier serum gave him an exaggerated swagger
This has got to be the best one yet

😆
👌
You had me in the first half not gonna lie
I think Bucky sleeping/sitting on his apartment floor is a call back to Sam's line in Winter Soldier to Cap "It's your bed isn't it? It's too soft"
Referring as to how a soldier grows accustomed to sleeping on the floor, cots, or barely padded beds
He said it in ep1
“Sam is just a wingman” that pun 😂
That was the point of the original line.
You missed the key detail of the grenade dialogue: John says he’s jumped on 4 and he has this thing he does with his helmet so it absorbs the blast not him. Steve jumped on the grenade with just his body which showed his selflessness while John was never really sacrificing anything or even putting himself in danger.
I think jumping onto any explosive is dangerous??
@@overland1178 there’s a complete difference John used his helmet cause he knew it would protect him and Steve used his body without any hesitation cause he wanted to protect everyone🤦♂️
Man has 3 medal of honors, and he did jump on the grenades. It seems likely hed have done it had he not had the helmet but its ridiculous to knock him for having a helmet
How would he know he would be safe the first time he did it? No piece of gear works the exact same i have seen 2 vest shot by the same type of bullet in almost the same place one was stopped the other tore through both plates and my buddies chest, don't worry he is still alive. What I'm saying is almost all military personnel learn never trust your gear and don't put yourself in a position where it will be used and when it is used pray like hell yours actually works. So no way did he know the first time he used his helmet it wouldn't go to shit and rip him up, hell i bet all 4 times he expected to die when they went off, he just hoped it worked like the previous times he tried cause it just happened to have worked that time.
@@kyletrosper8953 Why would he sacrifice his life if he knew he had a helmet that could absorb the blast?? Steve had nothing what he did was appropriate for that situation, they didn’t have stuff that could just stop a blast like that, walker did and he used it and I don’t blame him.
In my opinion, bucky held back alot in the fight because he was following the 2nd rule
We clearly know how strong he is from previous movies
Yeah, he did...and he also made it clear that he won't hold back anymore at the end of the episode when he asked for what was rule 2 again?

He’s the best MCU villain
@Giants Fan is the best*
He hates super soldiers so he's probably gonna be a good guy in this show helping Sam and Bucky stop the Flag Smashers from making more super soldiers. This man's hate for super soldiers is so much stronger than his desire for revenge.

I agree, in the first scene we see him I believed he was genuinely a guy who wanted to help the little guy regardless of the role he was given and the responsibility that came with it. But later on I feel the power and that role went to his head considering he wore the suit everywhere. And I highly doubt it was stuck.
I have a feeling his story line is going to be reminiscent of Jeffery Mace’s story line: a guy who was given the role and power to be the next Captain America, only to do the Patriotism part a little too hard- he had good intentions, but the way he did them always came out wrong.
Yes!! Nice catch!!
@@Mtab2260 I feel like Sam and Bucky deserved it a bit for treating him like shit throughout the episode.
@@haydeng9643 I would too if I were them, even John said you can’t blame them for acting that way
The running part really got to me .. it's my favorite
Bucky jumping from the plane without a parachute is a reference to Steve Rodgers jumping from the plane without a parachute to rescue hostages from a hijacked ship. Which is the debut movie of the winter soldier
When Walker says he jumped on grenades, he says he does it with a reinforced helmet thing. Implying that he was not sacrificing his life knowingly like Steve did.
Exactly the good point
@luxas youre selfish
@luxas The point is not about how smart the two men are comparatively, its about character. I think on this same channel is a video about the moment steve became worthy. (of Mjolnir)
@@azuldraconic5141 No he saved everyone and himself. Its exactly like he said why die when he could save everyone and himself
News flash, having a kevlar helmet on while jumping on a grenade is not gonna save your life. You cover a grenade with your torso & kevlar will not keep you from either dying or being severely mangled up when jumping on a fragmentation grenade.

"I always wanted to do that.."
best line
I feel like steve saw Isaiah in the past knowing what they were doing. So instead of changing the past he changes the future by giving the shield to Sam.
Isaiah wasn’t around when cap was created he came onto the scene when cap went on ice
@@kyletrosper8953 I think he was talking abou endgame steve
@@diobrando1238 that would assume Endgame Steve knew about him. Which likely isn't the case. Steve wouldn't be all up in that business at that point, he had a life to live with Peggy at that point.
@@RunningtheEdge but Peggy founded Shield, so he would have a tangential view of the fucked up shit with super soldiers. I personally agree with this headcanon.
@@chillycharizard5985 now take the head cannon forward, and ask yourself how a nurse was really able to get an imprisoned super soldier under government experimentation out, by faking some paperwork, the answer is the “nurse” was Peggy Carter. There is no way that Peggy would let that stuff continue to happen to Isaiah once she learned about it.
At this point, we're all like Bucky. "Why did u give that shield?"
THATS WHAT I BEEN THINK ABOUT
Seems there is a huge plot hole here imo, why wouldn't Sam just talk to Steve about how he's feeling. Steve didn't die he just retired the shield, surely there would be some possible way to talk to him. My big question is why would he give the shield to the government instead of Bucky or another fellow Avenger?
@@RoCkShaDoWWaLkEr I mean, it kind of seems like steve did die. they constantly use past tense when speaking about him. as for why he didn't give the shield to one of the other avengers, he probably didn't feel like it was his place to do that. he believes that the shield belongs to steve, he's not trying to find a replacement for him. he doesn't feel worthy of it, why would he feel the right to give it to somebody else. he gives it to the govt because he thought that they'd just keep it to symbolize captain america n shit. not much of a plot hole (imo), I think it makes you just think more deeply about sam's character
@@RoCkShaDoWWaLkEr Steve did die, at the beginning of Spider-Man far from home there were tributes to the fallen avengers and Steve was one of them
I can also see Sam's side of him saying that he did what he thought was right. To Sam, he thinks he doesn't deserve it, and that the shield belonged at Cap's museum of sorts. The thing is that Sam himself should already know that the government can be shady and corrupt because that has happened several times before in the MCU. I just think that he couldn't have that burden on him, or due to race, and he didn't expect the government to go behind his back and give the shield to someone else. The thing is that he gave it away. That did only give them opportunity to choose whoever they wanted as a new Cap. It's like people entrusting the government to manage censorship laws on the internet. They just shouldn't have that much power over things they don't really understand.
You my friend do not miss a beat... Awesome work.
One of the details and transcendent review i have ever seen ❤️❤️❤️
Bucky Should Of Said "Can You Lift Mjolnir" instead of "can you jump over a grenade" XD
But they don't have Mjolnir, so he can't try to lift it...
Would be very clever, a way to state he's not worthy of the shield.
Good piont
Imagine a scene where Thor meets John Walker in caps suit and says "I don't like this one" 😂
@@flowstanzabeats6990 I don't care, this is canon for me, somewhere and somehow. It is too good xD
2:11 It’s also a callback to Civil War when Natasha asked, “Do you really wanna punch your way out of this one?”
That’s what I thought he was gonna say or bring up .When he just left the scene after that, I was like what the fuck.
I was really surprised he didn’t mention that at all
We’ll mistakes happen in too lol but nice pointing that line out!

“I can fly, who gives a shit.”

You missed the most obvious highlight of the episode where when Sam and Bucky go to visit Isiah a random kid calls Sam the Black Falcon.

Sebastian Stan was brilliant in this episode im so glad they're giving him more screen time, like Wanda and Vision, the hobbit line made me belly laugh
The fact that very old super soldier still has a lot of strength and power, points to the fact that Steve Rogers still has all his strength and can come back atleast as a cameo🎊🎊
But he passed away didn’t he
@@ThebeautifulTiera no, just old.
He was put under ice several times though, he might be aged just a little faster than young Steve
If cap’s alive he would be around 180 years old, even if the super soldier serum slowed it down I don’t think he could live that much
He would only biologically be 106

The graffiti on the walls with people wearing masks maybe a reference to Zemo considering he wears purple masks and the masks those people on the graffiti are wearing are also purple.

The Police officer bit, was also proof that John Walker was still tracking Bucky and Sam, that is why they arrived so quickly, and that so why John shows up so quickly, after Bucky is arrested. This shows that John is trying to get Bucky and Sam to join, or get rid of them as quick as possible.
I believe in the comics they would organise attacks so they could swoop in to look like the heroes. You’re not far off.
The cops were already patrolling, they only intervened once they started to shout. So it can be either way

6:54 - Bucky catching the shield between John & the enemy might be showing Becky making his way from opposite the shield (as Winter Soldier) to eventually the right side of the shield (as shown in the trailers, Bucky catching the shield) & him bettering himself & making more amends (probably after confessing to Yuri about his son).
14:44 wait so you guys used Filipino words now. As an MCU fan and a Filipino, I couldn't be more happy!
I think Walker does actually have the serum in him. Note in the opening propaganda interview when the reporter asked him about what made him special, he quickly brushed off the idea that he had anything special with him, and reinforced the idea that he was completely "normal." Also note the stunts hes pulling off are definitely super soldier level.
Maybe, but then why get your butt handed to you so quickly when fighting the Flag Smashers?
The MCU has people that highly skilled without powers, prime example is Hawkeye who is essentially super human.
@@bradleytaniguchi1187
To be fair, Bucky and Sam couldn't outfight the Flag Smashers, either.
@@bradleytaniguchi1187 I mean he did quite decently, and his coordination is insane. Like when he threw the shield to protecc his partner. I definitely think he's juiced up somewhat
@@stephencurry6448 I personally like the idea he is just a "stellar soldier" the government got for the job, as he was the best they could find. If his background is legit, and without any serum. Then your talking about someone way beyond what we see in real life. So doing some unbelievable acts still fits someone who is that peak human.
So unless he starts lifting up super heavy stuff that clearly is way beyond any normal human, I still think he's not juiced, just he's the most highly skilled person the government could find.
@@bradleytaniguchi1187 Yeah true, I just think some of the things he's pulling off (like the speed and accuracy he threw the shield) was unreal
