My teenage / earlier twenties self would be dumbfounded to find out that I get such joy and satisfaction by watching a 40 minute video of a guys pouring concrete.
I hear that
TY
Nothing wrong with that !!!
The joy of being a man. I love it
Hey im only 23 and I do it for a living and I STILL watch it when I come home after work. Come home to just watch more work.
@@7.3powerstroke6 thats what separates the boys from the men. How much time you spend learning your craft and how much time you spend perfecting your finished product(concrete)
Love these videos; clearly narrated without music; Your crew gets it done right. Those customers can't be anything but happy.
I concur
Ty
I love the design of that house! Multiple garages, huge open concrete patio, still has some grass and garden, its got everything I would want in a house. Nice job on the concrete!
Fr I could only think about the house, I love the breezeway for the driveway
I concur
Ty
Yup. Digging the entry way and enclosure of two garages on both sides.
@@OdellCompleteConcrete
I agree .. seems an interesting design. I would not want to such a tight narrow driving through area however. That would not be large enough to handle, say an RV that you want in there.
The interesting thing, is this private area that is created. Like your own courtyard .
Considered doing this stuff myself, but the more I watch, the more I realize this is serious work, and serious art.

You and the team always go the extra mile to make the job perfect and the customer's happy :) happy to see people that care about quality are still around :)

Yes, there are way too many dudes out there in the construction industry that act like total assholes and have zero customer service experience and ability. If you do good work, at a competitive rate, with a mind for your customers, you will be successful.
Beautiful job David. Perfectly compliments this great home. Concrete art at its best!
Ty
Absolutely love watching all your projects. Each and everyone of the projects are awesome.
Ty
Fantastic job, world class. You guys nailed it, gotta say you have a very good and experienced crew. Good job getting such a good employees.

You guys are true craftsmen. Some guys wouldn't have taken the time to fix the hump in the breezeway. Great job!
Your probably right.
Ty

Thanks for watching!
I've been watching your videos, working towards making some concrete walkways on my own property. The amount of detail and construction wisdom that you pack into these videos is just amazing! I was wondering if you are using #3 or #4 Owens Corning rebar in this slabs. Thanks for the great videos!
#3

I have 6 cars love all those garages. Bichin job wish you were in Northridge

@@OdellCompleteConcrete ?????
I love saw cut lines vs cold joints... Esspecially on driveways!!! Nothing is more frustrating then working on a car and a jack or stand gets caught in a cold joint... saw'd joints just glide right over.
I concur, better for everything
Nice brooming
TY
🤩Very Nice 🤩
Ty
Full send bro never lift 😏 🤙 mobbin deep appreciate yeah 🙌 ty for the therapeutic video from life man that's a big job bro nice 👍
Full send brotha
Great job. Shame the customer didn't go for an exposed aggregate, but still wonderful work there. Always cleaning up after yourself like the professionals you are too.
Beautiful work crew 💕👍 Saw cuts came out great, is that something you suggest to do on these bigger pours or is it something the customer asks for? 🤔
Yes and yes
Amazing Video extreme attention to detail and the Grand Finale was Cool! Underwater camera test, so was it water proof?
Yes it was!
Awesome video! Just curious how long the demo and prep work took, prior to the pour? Love your channel!
3 days
Great pour, personally I would have cut that slab into two with expansion in between but that concrete is going to be there for a long long time!
I hope so
Thank you
Yw
Your videos are amazing to watch, your crew and craftsmanship are impeccable!!
Do you network with other concrete companies to recommend jobs? I live in Santa Clarita/Valencia and need a lot of concrete work done, I’m sure that’s out of your service area but wondering if you have any recommendations out this way in LA County ?
Thanks
I wish
thats a mans house with all that garage space.. heh... you guys were working hard on that one and it came out really nice.
I concur
Ty
I am not criticizing your work when I say this. I am just saying I think it would have been way easier with a mini excavator and a dump trailer. With it so thin and no rebar I wouldn't have bothered breaking it up, even if you had to rent something for a few hours. Love the channel and your video production. Also the job you did at this house, right up to the very small details of cleaning up every last bit of debris at the end of the driveway as well as kiddie pool was in incredible. Anyone out that way that was looking to hire you should watch your videos as a reference to the quality of work you do.
Great
Ty
YOU THINK AND WORK SMARTER
when you say you used 20 yards and then another 4, that's a HUGE amount of work for you guys to have done!
OSS
That Medusaw is a game changer
I concur
Hey Mr Odell, I think you're brush is pronounced kuh·mee·lee·un, like the lizard. You call it whatever you want though! Love the vids :)
Great Job, as usual. How long do you have the owners wait before driving on the new concrete.
7 days
I always used a concrete tamp or "jitterbug" to press cold joints together.
May be the answer.
Ty
Stunning job, over how many days was this over ?

In WA I'm using plastic screed pins with a twist tighten for grade, i don't know if california has them but it would be worth checking out
Sounds good.
