Deep breath, brace core muscles and focus eyes on a spot on the ground approx. 4 body lengths or so for neutral kneck. Swing arms out and sit slightly back into a squat to help the knees ass to the grass. Pause and stretch. Push into the heels back up. Do not push knees back at the top, keep knees ever so slightly bent. Squats!...

To help us understand the value for money involved in this sort of job, are there ball park figures for this kind of work? Obviously access and locations will vary but it's this a $10k job or $50k? I've been quoted £5k here in West London in the UK for an 18m2 patio and a 4 day turnaround so curious as to how that translates across the pond Thanks

I recall some years ago now, that my older brother, his two sons, and myself did a very big job in Bearsden near Glasgow. We did the back garden, front garden, and a huge driveway from the rear of the house to the front gate (about 30m by 7m) My older brother was the only one laying the paver stones, the rest of us were “feeding” him with the stones, and could not keep up, he was that fast. The prep was hard work too. Boy was I glad when it was all over. For those interested we used a herringbone pattern. Also it was the thick engineering pavers suitable for vehicles, not the thin ones more commonly used for gardens.

If you have consistent back pain, talk to your doctor and get x-rays and possibly an MRI to look for a disc bulge or slipped disc. The result on this job was beautiful!
