    Your comment on the corrosion problems with re bar reminded me of a research paper I authored with my Environmental Engineering profession when I attended UCF. The paper, The Effects of Stray Current on Reinforce Concrete by Dr Steven Duraneau and William Johnson was about how a stray current causes the re bar to corrode. You should see how my test cylinders exploded from the expanding iron oxide buildup. The presence of water accelerates the process. Those fiberglass re bars would eliminate the stray current problem. I'm probably the best educated concrete finisher out there. Hahaha

      I was looking for rebar in carbon graphite.
      With cg fibers mixed in also. About 7 lbs per yard. Looking to test such a mix with maybe a 6-8 sack mix.

      @MrVonBastard Před 2 lety

      @@georgemichaels2325 If you're looking for a really strong mix don't forget about the aggregate. That's a variable in the equation too. The strongest mixes use steel ball baring's for the aggregate.

    It's funny you say that, it's often cheaper to just buy a new carb off of amazon or ebay rather then pay someone to rebuilt the current one. Because I found that to be very true. $35 bucks for a new carb and $75 or $80 to have a repair shop fix the current one.

    Love your videos David. A tip for you on your equipment . Run 2 Oz. of Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas and diesel for every 5 gallons of fuel. You will never have gummed carburetors or fuel injectors. Note do not use it in any diesel equipment that has SCR exhaust (DEF). For modern equipment that has SCR exhaust after treatment I recommend Power Service Diesel Kleen.

    Have you ever put Elmer's glue in your concrete my grandfather lived in Cypress he lived in Long Beach and he was a concrete guy he did driveways and block walls he put Elmer's glue and his mix I don't exactly know how much because I was only like 7 8 years old when I was working with him he didn't really teach me how to do it to mix the concrete and all that had a flatbed truck had his own Sand and gravel and then this man you know he pulled a cement mixer behind his truck myself I grew up in lake Elsinore from 1965 it's a 1987 is when I lived there but anyhow thank you for your videos I do enjoy watching them

    I walk by commercial jobs and study the cut marks and analyze what they could have done better because the sidewalks crack, but not on the cut lines. Some guys don't put enough thought into where to place their cut lines.
    Settling and drainage play a big part in controlling cracks down the road.

    Try seafoam in the gas tank, it's a product you can get off of Amazon and other places. It should clean the carb and it help stabilize fuel also. Worth a try before you have to get a new carb for the float.
