    while Spruce-rosewood sparkles with the highs and shimmer with its overtone, i like Spruce-Mahogany being less overwhelming, and compliments well with vocals. and over time i fell in love with the woody and warm tones of full Mahogany guitars.... (somewhat similar, yet different from the walnut guitars, which i love)

    I have had this guitar for 2 years now. If you play fingerstyle, blues/vibes … this is the guitar for you. It’s very lightweight (extremely fragile body) but it also weighs practically nothing. I love this guitar more than any other guitar I’ve ever touched. It’s like 1400.., but I truly would think it was 2500+ if I never saw price tag

      Actually mahogany is extremely strong and stronger that spruce or rosewood, which is why it is made lightly. A friend has a beat up 000-17 from the 40's

    It's a good review. I like the comparison of the two triple o's (the street master is a little harsher) no doubt, but...I just want to here what it sounds like straight out of the box (tuned up of course). Not with all these costly tweaks. Just my 2 cents worth. Peace.

    Jarvis, do you shoot for less relief like .004 or .005" and a higher saddle or .010" relief and less saddle?

    • @TheGuitarSpaSingapore
      @TheGuitarSpaSingapore  Před 4 lety +1

      dnottis it’s hard for me to measure cox I shoot just a slight relief and also you have to look at the Brand’ of the guitars , their neck pitch angle and also their frets .. some guitars if the neck is too straight then buzzing is the normal .. so it’s base in case ti case basis .. I also use my ear .. reason being if the neck is too straight or over tighten at the truss you lose lots of weight overall sustain especially in the trebles areas and that is a no no since the dynamics of the tone will be lost. So many things to consider

    • @tyt2lynnin1
      @tyt2lynnin1 Před 3 měsíci

      yes huge, the dynamic range is nuts on the 000 compared to the Jr. But the Jr is just a different guitar, its just a small portable comfortable guitar to play on the couch.

    • @TheGuitarSpaSingapore
      @TheGuitarSpaSingapore  Před 3 lety +1

      It’s not clear and you can’t play it in a band live loud setting .. lots of feedback .. probably good if you play it alone or you have a very good sound tech that knows how to EQ it .. if you thinking of plug and play in a live loud band setting then the K&K is not one I would use even if they gave it to me free
