    I have playing the 15M for 2 years now, and it is a love story for us.
    The more i play with, the more the experience is high and powerfull while performing. This guitar is strong, fine and full of good surprises, anytime !

    This is a very good review. SM is definitely more open sounding. I bought the 15SM 6 months ago and have not been disappointed.

    Stefan managed to summarize the differences so concisely. The 15M is slightly more direct, punchy, with a sharper, brighter attack and high end. Whereas the 15SM is warmer, rounder in it's attack and treble frequencies. M for lead and SM for rhythm is a perfect contextual analogy. That said I own the SM andn love it immensely. Truly, there is almost nothing it cannot do, and I really have no need to look for any other expensive acoustic guitars while I have it. Thank you for a great comparison!

    Stefan is always so informative and articulate about his reviews on specific guitars. I purchased the Larrivee OO40rw from his review on it and I was not disappointed. Its warm, loud, and vibrates against your body as you play it. I have hi-end Martin's & Taylor's among others but the Larrivee is a bomb. Now I'm looking at getting this Martin OOO15sm. It sounds amazing.

    Please keep making these reviews. They are so good. I don’t think I’ll be able to come visit since I’m in the continental US, but I’ve enjoyed watching and listening over the past few years. These videos are informative and soothing. Great work! 👍

    Why can’t all reviews and comparisons be like this. Two people more interested in the instrument than themselves. Theses guys exude class and knowledge. I wish That I could buy the SM from them.
    To all you other reviewers, take a lesson. It’s the guitar not you.

    Great comp thank you! I hear the 000-15m having more body resonance a more mellow tone where the SM has either more volume or more/better projection. For me I prefer the 000-15m.

    Both of these guitars are great, the 15m definitely has more bass and treble to when you play vs the 15sm having more of a treble and mid punch. The 15sm sounds a lot more open as well. I have the 000 15m I would never trade it for any other guitar I love it!

    I always find it amusing, when people talk about how the headstock, the neck or fretboard either impact the sound or not. It’s such a thing, where facts are a little difficult to be sure of. But oh my God can people sound convincing, when they state either such thing as the truth. So many different opinions on what impacts the sound of a guitar overall. But it’s the first time, I’ve heard that the actual headstock matters according to the sound 😮

    • @briannielsen9556
      @briannielsen9556 Před 7 měsíci

      @@JB-lp9xr That’s what YOU say at least 😉 Some would say material, some would say body SIZE, some would say a combo of size and shape, some size, shape and material and so forth. It’s the perfect example, when a “truth” has manifested itself within one person and gets projected onto others as the truth. But some would beg to differ regarding your statement as shape being the most important factor. I just find it amusing, that such beliefs become facts 🙂You stating this is not much different than this guy stating this about a headstock or someone about the fretboard being of utmost importance. I’m just teasing you, you know 😉

      I own the 15M...and yeah, it's a beautiful guitar, but the narrowness is my only complaint.
