Hello Dr. I want to know that are there any job opportunities in UK after completing Plab 1 ? Can I work and study for plab 2 at the same time while staying in UK?

Just meant to ask how do you manage studies and other after work pursuits. I do agree uk/ eu has better work life balance and work hours. But my worry is managing the mrc exams and academic load while finding time( I am in psych so the hours are pleasant but too much reading bulk)

You need to manage your time off well and create a system that allows you to do what you enjoy doing and also study.

If you do your 3 years residency in the US for FM and plan on completing your PLAB 1 &2 in the UK would you be considered a GP or consultant once you transfer? I’m considering a residency program here in the US that actually allows physicians to transfer to the UK ( HCA) so I wanted to know how feasible that is.

Haven't heard of any sort of program that allows this to be honest as you'd need to fulfil a specific checklist to be found equally competent and obtain registration to then work in the UK. Just completion of family medicine in the USA would not then equate you to a GP/consultant level in the UK.

Also I am a mother of 2 kids. If I migrate I'll have to come here with as a single bread winner for a year till my husband gets a job. Will my salary be manageable

Madam...I have completed MS Ortho in India..Can I appear for MRCP and later pursue FRCP Cardiology in UK!!?
    Is it practically possible?
Or should I have to stick with MRCS only as I have done MS Ortho?
    Please explain the possibility
