We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️ - Zábava

Hilarious! I just might get me one of those!
Anyone know where you can get it?

Sam, today, Fathers Day, I cooked a choice prime rib on a gas grill with rotisserie following your recipe and technique. I have charcoal Weber’d at least 50 roasts, used to do it for work. This was my first on a rotisserie and it was the best I have ever had. You made me look like a hero man, thank you very much. You are a very good instructor.
Allen, what was your approximate cook time for this? Trying the rotisserie for the first time today.
His smile when he brings up that his family is coming over melts my heart.
I finally made this version (got a rotisserie) and my family LOVED IT!!! They said it was the best prime rib they've ever had. Thanks for teaching me how to make this!!!
Looks like I will have to start saving my Pension now to BUY a Prime Rib ... you have made an excellent job there Sam ..👍
I need to save to buy a rotisserie
I buy choice roast and it's excellent. Few lbs per lb less.
@@nicknicholas3186 So negative weight?
@@hipx a few $ more I meant.
My screen is small....did that way $144.00?
That brush really does seem like a waste of thyme.....

Ahhhhhh, I see what you did there... but all jokes a side it's a kinda good idea.
@@adamburdt8794 not really
Panzer Ace Come on buddy.....how did his comment go over your head?
Bought this piece of meat yesterday knowing Sam would have a video covering it because I have never tried it before. This will be being made tomorrow! Can’t wait!
Arguably the best demonstration ever on how to remove rosemary and thyme from the stems and chop it up....
I cooked a Prime Rib roast last night in the oven using the mustard seasoning recipe that you used on the beef tenderloin and it was delicious
For me, the oven is better, yup..
Definitely similar to the tenderloin 👍🏻
Neighbors like WTF is he making now 😂😂😂😂
I bet they be starving tho every time he cooks something lmao

My neighbor's do that all the time, I look at him and yell jealous. Come on over
One word equals greatness.......KOBE. It has to be done, so many would benefit knowing how to do it and not have to pay a freaking fortune to have someone else do it.
My mouth waters every thyme I watch this glorious man cook. "Oh, I gleaked". My God does that bring back junior high memories, lol!
I have been a CZcams spectator since it's inception and I cannot get over the fact that I haven't come across SAM THE COOKING GUY untill recently. I have been binge watching since. Sam, you and your family have brought more joy to my life, what a wonderful thing.
Hands down my favorite cooking teacher.
Sam you're hands down my favorite channel on CZcams. While there are other cooks on YT that make amazing food, it is without question your personality that keeps me coming back every single video! Thank you for all that you do, keep up the great work!
Tha's wut I'm sayin'...
And what a Family Dinner it must have been! I love you Guys!
The rage against the fly made me laugh out loud.
By the end, I was rooting for the fly
It always makes me LOL when he yells after Astro 😂🤣
Hey Sam love your videos.
I would love it if you would make a pumpkin pie from scratch if possible.
Greetings from Bangor, Northern Ireland. Still by far the best chef on CZcams. Never get tired watching the vids.
Great week with Sam - We are new to the Channel - Made the Naan with chicken, Garlicky butter noodles, Chicken Salad.....Sam is the BEST !
You mentioned Thanksgiving...could you deep fry a turkey on the channel this year?
Seconded or deep fried ham is acceptable as well.
HELL YES 🔥🦃🔥
@@samthecookingguy yessss!! I was just thinking the same! Made one 2yrs ago and it was ok at best. Cant wait to see you deep fry one!
I've always wanted to deep fry a turkey, home improvement stores will be selling the frying kits as well as the peanut oil soon, hopefully you do a video on it, interested on seeing what kind of spin you put on the recipe. Thanks
@@samthecookingguy I plan on deboning at least four turkeys to fit in my freezer when they go on sale. Deep fry a deboned turkey man. Stuff it to your desire. My stuffing has sausage and smoked oyster in it. My aunt's has fucking boiled eggs and pickles for her husband. Last time I deboned a bird it was a duck that got stuffed with apricots. All the bones come out but the wings and uh ankles. Only crotosoocm in rotisserie prime is the sacrifice of aus jus which to me can't be parted with. And you can totally cake a quarter inch of rub on one of these. Pepper and garlic salt works. I bet the smoke kicks ass though. I would love to see a deboned bird deep fried and where you would take it
Definitely making a prime rib for Christmas.
Me also..ive never had b4..but im hatin turkey..spent alot on a 3bone in.hope its good
I want to thank you for this video. My wife bought some horrible shoulder roast because it was on sale. I used this recipe on it, cooked it in the smoker and sliced it real thin. It came out great and the horseradish sauce was great. Nobody could tell that she bought the leanest and toughest part of the cow. Thanks!
My daughter's butter based rub and timed per weight high temperature followed by staying in the oven is by far the best tasting.
BTW not capturing all those prime rib drippings is a sin.
Made this tonight but had to cook in the oven. It was amazing! There were 6 of us and everyone in the family loved it and said it was the best prime rib they have ever had!! Thanks for the great video! Looking forward to trying something else soon!
Vegetarian, an old Indian word for bad hunter XD

Penut butter Gravy with biscuits and chicken fried steak. It was served with fried okra and southern green beans. This was a Sunday home cooked meal in my Grand ma's house. We also had to hove an ice cold glass of buttermilk to go with it. Cooked Georgia style. I was young boy and enjoyed this meal once or twice a month. I forgot to mention the home made peach or blackberry cobbler pie! I loved watching you make this prime meal.
Amen!! Hands are the best tool in the kitchen!!!!!
This is absolutely THE BEST prime rib I have ever had!!! My wife and her parents all said the same thing, we all love prime rib and this recipe is amazing! Thanks Sam and can't wait to try more soon!
Sam I'm so going to try this and make the sauce. Mine will need to go in the oven because my rotisserie died some time ago but I'm doing one on Wednesday for Christmas. Looks AWESOME!
I watch your videos and I’ve learn a lot, mostly about having fun with ingredients and controlling them. Thank you for all you do, keep it up.
thyme basting brush. GENIUS!
That looks amazing! I’d like to see more soups and such since fall is so close
Definitely going to be doing more Fall recipes in the coming months 👍🏻

I'm drooling, looks so darn good! Sam how bout making something with keilbasa, and sauerkraut?
I much appreciate the cleaned up videos. Like to watch with our family and grand kids.
Absolutely agree about the charcoal chimney, I have'n't use charcoal lighter fluid in years.
"I gleeked" LOL! omg I haven't heard that in a minute.
4:04 that's what i tell my sister when she intrudes my cooking session at home
I’ve watched this a dozen times in the past couple years. Omg. Such a great way to cook a prime rib, and in my opinion, one of the best STCG videos. I have a 5 rib prime rib sitting in my refrigerator, waiting for me to do this.
Probably the best looking Prime Rib I've ever seen. Wish I could taste it.

Blind taste test with and without the bone. I'd bet most people couldn't tell the difference. The prime and execution is what makes that meal. Great job.

Sam, your literally the greatest chef! Your ideas rock.
Thanks for the tips in cooking...You make it look so easy! I cant wait to try that sauce
Your videos began being recommended to me about 6 months ago or so. I absolutely love them. My choice of words also gets me in hot water sometimes too. Thank you so much for doing a prime rib episode because good prime rib is my favorite thing ever. I could just never afford to, or justify ruining a prime rib because I had no idea how to cook it well. Actual recipes don't always translate for me, I need to see someone making it. I mean. it took me a few turkeys to actually figure out a roast turkey that was good, much less great.
This man has too much thyme on his hands
That might be pretty rare, butter to leave it for longer.

I love Prime Rib and make it for Christmas every year. Thanks for your amazing content
Today, I used soy sauce for the very same reason but on a different dish. I used it along with lemon zest, black pepper, salt, and parsley on Tilapia fillets, which I baked, encrusted with Parmesan cheese. I love this channel for instruction and inspiration. Thank you.
I haven't been through all your videos but Lamb shank or rack of Lamb.
