Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are unplugged and performed with minimum instrumentation. No retakes. One stretch live performance..

KVM is master of classical compositions. In any raga based songs, the way he brings out the essence of ragas is unique and exemplary. The performing team did very well.

Somehow I felt these two brilliant singers equalled the original number.The Veena player , flautist or flutist ( whichever is right) with incomparable veteran Venkat on tabla make it par excellence . Music is divine indeed.
But for kannadasan and likes of KVM and MSV, and plethora of awesome play back singers life in TN would have been mundane
