Making a Blacksmiths Dishing Stump

  • In order to make my Rivendell Guard cosplay armour, I need the right equipment. So this week I did a fun weekend project of making a wooden swage block, i.e. a dishing stump!

    Brilliant father /son teamwork. Great to have a handy Dad at hand LOL! Looking forward to seeing you make use of it on the armour parts of the costume.

    Very nice! A much needed tool for this type of project I'm sure. Nice to see your dad helping you with this bit of the project... my dad is great with wood working so whenever I have a woodish project, I know where to go.

      Right now 😄 busy wrapping up production on the knife parts so I can get them all done. Then I'll crack on with the Rivendell Guard!
