      Hello, Doctor Gama, and thanks for stopping by! Yes. You can use the GMPX with Zoom. I don't think it will be much help receiving audio as you're still at the mercy of the sender's audio signal quality, but it will definitely make sure folks can hear YOU and your instruments well!

    Thank you so much for your kindness and helping others.. Can I use it as a computer and can it pick up sounds if there is a USB microphone? (elgato WAVE 3) At the same time, you can connect the phone to one of its ports... Thank you. 🤗

    • @RivertonPianoCompany
      @RivertonPianoCompany  Před 9 měsíci

      I can't see how you can use it as a computer. it doesn't have a processor. It's just an audio mixer. There is no port for a USB microphone. You can connect a headset with microphone (3.5mm plug), a microphone with a 1/4" plug or a microphone with a 3-prong XLR plug. The USB-C connector is for connecting to a smart phone. This device is just for mobile mixing, live streaming and connecting to a digital piano.

      What I meant when I said this is whether the computer will recognize it when plugged into a USB port.. and used with some software (REAPER). I honestly don't know if it will work with knowledge. I saw some people saying you can. I said your questions. Anyway, thanks for your response and have a good day.@@RivertonPianoCompany

    Hello, I just bought the roland go mixer pro x, when I connected it I saw that it was not receiving a signal, I looked for information and I realized that it was not compatible with my phone, it is a samsung s21 ultra... I bought the 3.5 mm jack connector as it says in the instructions and there it did detect it but when I connect my electro-acoustic guitar the sound that arrives is weak, without force, like with waves... I would like to know what happens?... thanks.

    • @RivertonPianoCompany
      @RivertonPianoCompany  Před 2 lety

      Hi, Mrondonb! Thanks for watching and for your question. The problem with Android is that every manufacture follows different specs. There aren't single sets of "rules" for internal architecture. Roland says the Samsung S21 is compatible with the GO:Mixer Pro-X, so I am not sure what the problem is. Tell me your setup. Where is everything plugged in? Did you try plugging headphones into the GMPX to see if the signal sounds right inside it? Do you have the Pad switch on or off? I'll see if I can help you figure it out.

    Hello lovely channel: Here is my Gear...
    An acoustic Martin D18 guitar with a K&K mini pickup installed. A SHURE beta 87a phantom powered mic. A STOMP BOX made by ORTEGA and a Fishman Loudbox Artist amplifier.
    Here is the question; I know the GO gives a dry signal, would it be a better idea to use DIRECT LINE IN LINE OUT and connect the amp to the GO? Would I then need to monitor with my headset in my amp or monitor with my headset plugged into the GO? Would the settings on my AMP have effect on the sound,...I mean is for example chorus and echo noted while monitoring? And the other question: Will my iPhone use the build in mic also when plugged in the GO?

    • @RivertonPianoCompany
      @RivertonPianoCompany  Před 2 lety

      Hi, Jasper! Thanks for watching and thanks for your questions! We'll tackle them in reverse. Your iPhone should not be using it's built-in mic when attached to the GMPX. The whole point of connecting the GMPX is to get a clean, high quality audio signal. That said, you can connect two ways. You can connect your guitar directly through the guitar port on the GMPX or - if you want to use the effects in your amp - you can connect your amp to the Line IN/OUT ports on the GMPX. If you do that, the effects will play through your mix. I would still recommend connecting a headset to the GMPX and monitor your mix from there as it is the last point of adjustment before the signal goes out. I hope that answers your questions. Thanks again for stopping by!

    • @RivertonPianoCompany
      @RivertonPianoCompany  Před 8 měsíci +1

      This is their most basic model at around $150. It doesn't have a ton of effects. For that, you'd want to check out their higher models. Hope that helps!

    • @RivertonPianoCompany
      @RivertonPianoCompany  Před rokem +1

      The GMPX has a mic port (XLR or quarter inch), but no effects. If you want to add reverb to the mic, you'd have to do that before the signal gets to the mixer.

    Hello! Congratulations for the video, very clear!
    I'm going to buy the Roland Go mixer pro x!
    I have a question:
    In case I wanted to connect the mixer to the smartphone, but I want to power everything with a powerbank (to save the battery of the phone), what connections should I make?
    I thought of a split USB cable, but I'm not sure that way it would take the audio (because the split USB cable has an input for CHARGING and one for HEADPHONES, then No audio Input).
    Can you help me?
    Thank you!

    • @RivertonPianoCompany
      @RivertonPianoCompany  Před 2 lety

      Thank you! We're glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately, though, I don't know that a power bank is an option if you connect the GMPX to a smart phone with USB. There is only one USB port on each device so the connection cable would take that up. You can run the GMPX with batteries, though. That would save on phone power. ...but I am pretty sure splitting the USB cable would cause data problems. I would definitely recommend using batteries with the GMPX and leave a single data line from the unit to your phone. I hope that helps!

      @@RivertonPianoCompany Than you very much for your reply. I’m using a Yamaha PSR-SX700 as an input that produces a stereo signal and I can plug a mic into this keyboard and use the reverb built in effects which are also in stereo. I’m using an iPad to record the video content for my u-tube channel content, and at the moment I’m using headphone out from the keyboard to an i-rig guitar mono unit and plugging this into the I-pad headphone socket to capture the sound with the I-pad camera. The Roland Go Pro X will now give me a stereo audio signal output I guess that can be plugged into the I-pad FireWire input or the headphone mini Jack, so I think I will buy this mixer on that basis as I am loosing so much sound quality not being able to record in stereo sound when capturing the video via the I-pad camera. Thank you again for your very informative video about the Roland Go Pro X audio mixer.

    • @RivertonPianoCompany
      @RivertonPianoCompany  Před rokem +1

      Hi, Giannis. If I understand what you want to do correctly, here's what I recommend: First, plug your tablet into the GO:Mixer Pro-X with a 3.5mm stereo cable (from your tablet's headphones port to the GMPX's "Line In 1" port on the front. Next, use two 1/4" to 1/4" (male to male) mono cables to connect the R and L ports to the GMPX's R and L "Instrument" ports (left side). At this point, you can use the volume knob with the keyboard logo to adjust the volume of your TD17. You can adjust the "Line In 1" volume by adjusting the volume on your tablet. Plug a set of headphones into the GMPX (3.5mm port on the front) so you can listen to your mix and get it set just right. Once you're happy with the mix, use one of the included cables to connect the GMPX (via the USB-C port on the back) to your smart phone's data/charge port (I don't know if you are using a phone with USB-C or lightning, etc... but both cables are included. Use the one for your phone.) Now your mix will run to your phone and you can record your video with high quality and well-mixed audio. Good luck!
