- This is our cabin tour and review of Ambassador Ambience 6221 Outside Cabin. During our recent British Isles cruise (April 2023) on Ambassador Ambience we stayed in an Outside/Oceanview cabin, 6221. We have put together this tour in the hopes of it being useful and we hope it gives you a clear indication of what amenities Ambassador Cruise Line cabins have to offer.

Ambassador is Britains newest cruise line and we took the opportunity to sail with them in April 2023.Ambassador market themselves as Britain’s premium value no-fly cruise line who sail from 8 regional UK ports. Ambassador Ambience sailed around the British Isles and we were onboard for 11 nights. Ambassador Cruise Line currently has two ships in operation Ambience and Ambition.
We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked.
Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us.
We have created a list of our cruise essentials. These are items we take with us when we travel and we hope they may be useful to you. We have also added a Wine list which contains some of the wines we have tried whilst cruising.

I well remember those drawers, fittings and huge mirrors. The Ambience used to be the Pacific Dawn and I have sailed on her sister ships Pacific Jewel and Pacific Pearl many times. That was a trip down memory lane. Thank you and happy cruising, lads!

Good size cabin compared to some we've had in the past.
All we need is clean and comfortable never mind if it looks dated in some eyes.

I agree, given the age of the ship Ambassador has done a great job, I do not live in the U.K. so does the cruise line offer great value-for-money?
@@chrispnw2547 I’ve seen some really good fares for Ambassador recently actually, especially if you’re able to travel last minute.
We have seen 12 nights Fjords cruise for around $500

Like many, I came to the channel initially for cruiseline information (specifically Princess) however, Dom and Tom have some of the most entertaining vlogs in the segment. They have really honed their 'brand' into a 'must-see' channel. Information with a touch of humor is always a winner,

02:40 - On the newest class of ship, Princess has done away with the shower curtains but it appears as a result the traditional Princess walk-in wardrobe will no longer be. 😢

Formally the Regal Princess has had several incarnations she spent several years with P&O Aust cruising from Brisbane to the South Pacific and locally. Getting old now a Dolphin class ship but she sails well in heavy seas.

Ambience sailed as the Pacific Dawn with P&O Aust home ported in Brisbane.
I used to work on her when she was regal princess 1993 a long time ago

The cabin looks a great size, I’m not sure even we could manage to use all of those drawers! The shower curtain though 😩
