Went and bought a white one after watching this review.3 months later and Im still inlove with it.Thank you!!!!
Nice. I didn't even realized the wheel humps are almost none on this truck. Nice of you to cover that. No locking bed door is a miss. They also need to add the volume knob to the radios. That touch volume is the worst thing ever. I really love all that storage on this truck.
Volume knob is on the steering wheel
Locking door on 2020 models now if still interested. Volume unfortunately is unchanged.
Wish the Ridgeline offered the cooled/ventilated front seats that are offered in the Pilot. It gets hot in the summertime and cooled seats help (especially with a black interior!).
They do.... on the top of the line model
@@steveo4141 they don't. Only in Canada
Nice video! I'm looking at getting one soon.
Great review buddy.
In the process of purchasing one. Thank you
I'm a Ford Ranger owner (2011), but always thought the Ridgeline is a great product for a demographic. It makes 100% sense. And if I weren't a Ford guy, it'd be a Honda guy. So, there is a part of me that always is rooting for Honda. This version is leaps ahead of the last. But not being able to tell if it's an Odyssey, Pilot or Ridgeline coming at me is my concern. I think ifHonda separated that front bumper, and changed the front end treatment a touch, they'd have a grandslam! It's so close, and I'm still rooting for it though. :-)
I could say the same thing about your Ranger thinking that it's a Mazda B series looking at from the side or interior so... Every Ridgeline, Pilot, and Odyssey owners know exactly what they got and ones you have one of them, it doesn't really matter.
The Ranger looks like a truck, and that matters to many. People like myself love trucks even though we may never carry 500 pound load in the bed or go off road. For us, the Ridgeline is the perfect fit. However, many of us also gravitate towards looks, and the Ridgeline just doesn't give off that truck look.
Honda will have my money once the Ridgeline gain some testosterone. Until then, I'll hold out hope for VW to take the Atlas Tanoak out of concept mode and bring it to market. It's the same idea as the Ridgeline. A truck that is based on a car with its unibody, drives like a car, not really targeting construction workers......but it looks like a truck.
Coming from a current 2008 Ridgeline owner , Honda needs to redesign the front end of the Ridgeline . The new Passport front end would be a step in the right direction along with a 1 1/2" leveling kit and larger tires .
Until then I'll just keep driving my older reliable truck .
@@johnlopez3001 Why larger tires ? No need for any larger than what is already on there.
@@geraldfrieberg7921 check out YT channel " Drivers only " featuring a Black Ridgeline with a leveling kit along with black aftermarket rims and larger 265/65/17 tires .
This combination gives the truck much needed truck look and the added ground clearance helps when going off road.
The video speaks for itself.
Nice coverage buddy.
Maihu Mamai thanks!
You got me on the dog window ... I love this truck
Glad to hear! Is that a labradoodle?
Geared Towards Automotive thanks, he’s a goldendoodle.
Even better! Love that breed.
I want one.
It isn’t more than I need most of the time. All the other trucks I have owned have either been not enough, or too much.
How come the 115-volt outlet has only 2 prongs and not a third one for the ground on an extension cord?
Because Honda obviously wants you to be ONLY plugging in double-insulated gear into that outlet (i.e. due to event of water when being used outdoors).
It's a shame that Honda doesn't include a locking tailgate on these. I guess the availability of the after market unit is just as good, but is an added expense.
they do now on 2020 models as larger door swings for the rear doors
Does the RTL-E come with cooled seats?
only in Canada on the touring trim (US RTL-E Trim)
I have been researching the heck out of it but I can't find anywhere that power folding mirrors are available even on the highest trim. Is this true?
Only the Canadian model has the power folding mirrors.
Yes that's true.
Folding mirrors and 3D surround view are missing on Ridgeline top model.
Can I listen to the radio after turning off the engine?
Yes, if you don’t press the brake pedal and push the start button it goes into auxiliary mode.
@@Hammerdak Does a call drop if you turn off the car?
Can I get a SURROUND VISION on the RTL-E . ..... I currently have a 2017 Cadillac CT6 Plug-in Hybrid with all the bells and whistles which I love but it sits way to low. I'm willing to give up MOST of my toys .
Can I buy it in Thailand then ? - No. Why not ?
Excuse me the Ridgeline does not have speakers in the side of the box ; they are actuators and the volume only goes up to a certain preset level. I heard it at my local Honda Dealership when researching the Ridgeline i want next spring.
Good video; but some of your information is not correct.
Thank you
The box is made of a composite material
Tomato toMAHto.
How does an ad for a truck sales pitch have a commercial?! SMH.....click.
Thanks for the comment
"You Have Your" phrase begins to get annoying after a short, short while.
