Really love these boys. Most of time when superheroes have kids they are just carbon copies of their parents but with Jon and Damien they feel different, unique and full of character

I loved this little story line. It humanizes the heroes so much. Take away the timeline difference they are just a dad with god powers and a rich single dad bringing up two boys about to to be teenagers. I hope they make the children permanent parts of their universes.

Even though Dick will always be my favorite robin, I have to say that I love Damian's character, no matter what other people say. Sure he's a bloodthirsty brat, but he's very different from the other goody-two-shoes superheroes and I love watching Batman flounder to keep up with that boy. Bruce is highly intelligent and talented, but when it comes to his son he is clueless, and its honestly hilarious to see the emotionally stunted father trying to instill empathy in his emotionally stunted son. It's one big shit show and I love it!

damn superman is amazing in rebirth, I love him sooooo damn much. he is so likeable and loving. seeing him going crazy over his son was heartwarming especially because he is essentially a god. this is the superman we need, not the mess he was in the new 52. the chemistry between superboy and robin though rushed was great. this is beautiful.

Lois Lane (from pre new 52), Damien did die, but there is always a way to resurrect everyone in comics which in this case was the lazerus pit. this is the normal universe. Dc reboots, Marvel doesn't.
Revujo Lois lane, except their the superman and Lois from before flashpoint paradox, so were not from of the new 52. So they go by Clark, Lois, and Jon white. New 52 superman died from a cancer given to him by all the kryptonite that been around him in his life, so pre-flashpoint took up the mantle
Derek actually it wasn't the Lazarus pit that brought Damian back to life
Derek DC didn't really reboot, it is more of their own Renaissance bringing back more old continuity, while keeping some of the new 52 stuff. Marvel only keeps *NEW and DIFFERENT* this and that to keep pushing out number one issues. Marvel also destroyed their multiverses as well.

morgan flowers She's the daughter of a villain named Morgan Ducats a.k.a. Mr. Nobody that Damien killed. Morgan was the son of a man from Bruce's past named Henry Ducard. The nobody storyline was adapted as the main story arc of the failed animated Court of Owls based movie Batman vs Robin. Anyway, Maya wanted revenge against Damien, but ended up becoming his ally instead.
Without spoilers: She is basically Damian's assassin turned ally/rival in the Robin Son of Batman series which this channel has covered. Look for the playlist. Real name Maya Ducard, alias is Nobody II(her father was the original).
SPOILERS: In the first story arc of the New52 Batman & Robin series a villain called Nobody entices Robin to give in to his true nature, that of an assassin. Batman doesn't lose faith in his son to do the right thing and not kill anymore. Unfortunately at the end of the arc Robin is forced to kill Nobody in order to save Batman. Which sets up the strain in their relationship for quite awhile in that series, of Robin striving to achieve the perfection that Batman demands when he could easily go back to League of Assassins and be perfect as he already is. But anyway, Maya is the daughter of Nobody, Morgan Ducard. Maya swears vengeance that she will kill Robin. In the first few issues of Robin Son of Batman she shows up to kill Robin while he is trying to repent for his own sins. He defeats, and during the story shows her he is sorry for having ever killed at all. That there is a better way. And to help people. Maya then sorta follows Robin because she has nowhere else to go. There was a hint of shipping but Maya friendzones the shit outta him when he calls him "little brother". It shows in the SuperSons story when Damian reacts kinda jealous that Maya and Jon are very friendly to each other right away.

@KeijiMaeda86 there was never ever any hint of shipping and Maya took him as a brother [little brother since he is way younger and still has his baby teeth] after everything they endured together, after they spent ages fighting together, living together and overcoming together they became more than friends.
They became family after they redeemed themselves together. Their relationship runs deeper than romance. Maya would gladly give her life for Damian and vice versa. In fact in R SOB they both try to do so at different points.
I can't believe that you read that book, and saw shipping. That whole book is about Family and Redemption. Gleason even said so himself.
Damian one of the world's greatest assassins trying to atone for past sins in the year of blood finding redemption and reconnecting with his family.
Nobody an assassin an Orphan alone in world seeking revenge and finding a new family in Damian and Goliath.
Heck if Suren Durgas's story line was about Redemption and new Family

Good story, that superman kid has so much potential, but damian...he is so strange character, a kid who tries to fill the role of "minibatman", while just being another robin with bad attitude and edgy design...
I dont like him, maybe this depict of him is correct, as he wasnt designed to be a "lovely character", as Superman Son, but just a serious and annoying robin with batman complex.
BTW the girl end up being totally ignored, as she appeared to be part of a love triangle, but suddenly dissapeared and lost all her importance on the story.
Damian IS a "minibatman" both boys are just like their dads. Damian like his father isn't designed to be a lovely character. He is standoffish, paranoid, dark, distrustful, has poor social skills and has an edgy design just like his dad whilst Jon is hopeful, friendly, light and sees the best in people just like his dad. Like Batman and Superman these two balance each other out.
There is no love triangle Damian and Maya have a lil brother/big sis relationship and Jon is 10! you pervert.

Chinyere Ugwu True. The Lois and Clark mini played him a bit as the journalist of the family, with his parents trying to keep the secret hidden and eventually failing. My favorite Jon's scene is in the first issue of the mini, when you see having more interest in what is happening out there, that in his class.

I love his dynamic with Damian. Damian is a lovable arse and Jon calls him on his BS every time. I just read the Rebirth holiday special and these two are just precious in it.
