If that's so why the hell did he get rid of kids and families when he started the new 52? Why did he say they aged the characters and made them ''uninteresting?'' Are we to believe that he was visited by three spirits during the ''DC You'' era?
georgemiser Actually, the New 52 was due to the fact that DC had really low sales and WB was actually considering shutting down DC Comics. (Yes, WB was actually thinking about that). They figured that to gain back sales, they needed to reboot. Find a new audience, flood the stores with new #1s and show their heroes under a different light. As you can see, it was unsuccessful.
Cut to 2016, a full 5 years after the New 52 reboot started, during a Con the DC panel started. Half the audience walked out. Didio and everyone else saw this and took a good, long, hard look at themselves in the mirror before deciding to bring back what worked in the New 52 and what worked before Flashpoint. That's how you got Rebirth.

I'm no fan of Damien, but they can always have some good writers work their magic... I imagine he'd be very much like Bruce as an adult, but with an even meaner streak, always struggling to hold himself back from killing to honour his father (but still taking a few big threats out like Bruce has had to at times).
Can't help but feel that the version of Damian of the Rebirth Beyond timeline is more the likely outcome for Damian's future rather than inheriting the mantle (not sure if you read up the latest tho), but considering where he came from, it's kinda expected
this is comics world, i mean clark and bruce have been around for 80 years so don't think the're ever gonna get properly replaced and nor do i want them to. i want super sons forever
At first, I hated Damien. But after reading more comics and watching the animated movies he's in, I've grown to really like him. He might even be my favourite Robin

Hooker Legs you should add justice league to your pull list (after issue 25 or something) so far the jl books have been average but if you want to see wonder woman's son, he's going to be in it. It's an arc where kids of the jl members in the future meet the current jl for help.

SliferSlaker you have never read Superman if you did you would know that Superman age slows as he gets older. Eventually his aging will cease all together. You dont know shit.
Anthony Warren, They highly won't get together because as long as there is a superman there is a Lois. For batman, superman and the other heroes, dying by age is highly unlikely and would be a privilege. There would be a villain that eventually kills them (permanently) and that is where other heroes would rise to take their place. Also a majority of people prefer Lois and Clark so DC is not planning to change that anytime soon. I prefer Diana and Bruce (I loved that animated series). No one in DC is immortal... remember that

You got to admit that Lex handling the kids like that was pretty cool. He didn't try and kill them like pretty much every other villain would do, he just asked them what they were doing and who they were.

Both Kal-El and his wife Lois Lane would have ensured that Jonathan would be fully trained and aware of his blended heritage - alot sooner than shown in the comics. He is shown the way he has been to give Damian every chance to beat Superboy in a fight. The reality is Damian has little chance at all. Remember people. Jonathan has Lois Lane on his side to as his mother.
