The EAS was the early earthquake alarm which I think it appears in HNK
I think it still is the Alarm for Earthquakes as its made to not alarm children to being too scared, like in a manner of "This sound is bad" but not like "trauma sound" some countries have

this...made me realize i need to scrap my idea of a song.
I'm sorry, but it boils my blood when people call any emergency alert from any country as "EAS" (an acronym which is designed for one specific American system). This alarm is part of a different system called "J-Alert", which infact does incorporate both earthquake alerts and national civil alerts (imagine living in japan and north korea decides to bomb japan, that would be the most peaceful death with that sound). i saw this a while ago and I JUST SEARCHED 'how to legally (i don't wanna get arrested) get taiko no tatsujin on pc' AND FOUND THIS WTF
1. buy the game on switch/ps4, dump it with hacked switch/ps4 (switch is better, easier to hack and you can use mig switch dumper), then emulate it on ryujinx/pcsx4
2. use a simulator like optk or osu!taiko
3. ignore the law and emulate nijiro version (i mean, theres almost none in the US, so why not?)

This isn’t even copyright trolling. It’s outrage farming. Nobody seriously believes that anybody, not even the NHK, owns the C7add♯9 C♯7add♯9 chord progression, nor that it reminds people of the EAS alarm, especially not when the arpeggio is wrong and it’s not even a bell or chime sound. This should NOT have been disqualified.
It wasn't because of copyright, but because playing the sound in public without there being an actual emergency isn't allowed.
@@tibethatguy The sound isn't even there is what I'm saying. The alarm has a specific arrangement and this song is DEFINITELY not close enough to suggest it.
