I took the bone out of the pernil and butterflied it and used the same seasonings even the Lawrys let it sit over night.Baked it the next day .Amazing.Thank you Queen . Lawrys đđž

Goya makes a no-salt added Sazon. I recommend Kingsford (the charcoal brand) Salt-Free All Purpose Original Seasoning. It has a BBQ flavorđ
i will check out that seasoning. im not a fan of Adobo b/c i feel like its basically garlic salt with a touch of oregano. i like that the casero has more in it.
I agree! I think Adobo is great just as a base seasoning.

I really like fresh garlic in place of garlic powder. Any reason that wouldnât work here?
So, I personally donât enjoy fresh garlic when itâs baked, but feel free to substitute powdered garlic for fresh!
