Hearing him say "In my lifetime it would be a dream to Leeds back in the premiership" brought tears to my eyes. That's why we did it, we did it for you Norman. Absolute gent and really nice down to earth bloke.
RIP Norman, hope you and the lads are cheering us on up there, we did it.
Marching On Together ALAW
I am very proud to say I was once in Norman Hunter's company whilst on holiday in Menorca where he owned a property, as a Kilmarnock supporter I was at the semi final of The Fair cities Cup in 1967 which Leeds won 4-2 on aggregate which I mentioned to him and we had a good old laugh about Bite Yer Legs nickname. He was a true gentleman and his wife is a fine lady too. Very sad he succumbed to this horrible virus God Bless!!
nice comment mate from a 71 year old Leeds fan.
So sad that Norman didn’t get to see Leeds get promoted. RIP.
An absolute gentleman.
RIP Legend.
Shame he never got his wish of seeing Leeds back in the Premier league.
RIP Norman so so sad 😔 true legend played in a great team for many years, a thoroughly nice bloke as well. 😢
RIP Norman thanks for so many fantastic memories.
Love you Norm so sad you didn’t see them get promotion to the Premier League 😢
Norman was my favourite player as a kid and it is great to seeing him looking so well.Paul Madeley? A truly majestic player and selfless man, he said once i do not play for myself, i play for Don. I was deeply saddened by his passing.
Peter Leeson hhh
RIP Norman, you didn't get to see our team back in the Premiership, but I'm sure you're looking down now and delighted, MOT .
RIP Norman one of the All time greats.
Great speach from a true LEGEND they don't make them like Norman and Paul today .
RIP Norman ,Come on Leeds do it for yourselves,do it for us,and do it for Norman.
Norman Hunter, a legend for sure and one of the linchpins of that great side. Looks like Eddie Gray and Peter Lorrimer there too. The great Billy Bremner once said, "In our team, we were ALL captains". It's been far too long for a side of this stature since they last won anything. However, so far this season, looking good for promotion provided they keep the ship steady!
We love you Norman, Always was great to meet you.
Good words from Norman.
RIP Norman.God bless.
RIP legend (see the smile)
RIP Norman. 1:08-1:13 bielsa needs to sent this in a video tape to every player
Da Torino a Parigi, passando per Salonicco ....
Un Leeds indimenticabile!
RIP superstar. Go show em.
RIP Norman 😞
RIP Norman
Legend Norman.
RIP Mr Hunter.
Re his football days, the man was widely thought of as short of ability and talent relying on 'alternative methods' (putting it kindly) to get by!
As a man he was undoubtedly loved and cared for by his family.
Leeds fans too, biased as they surely are, thought well of him.
So, these are balanced comments.
Some liked him, others didn't.
RIP Mr.Hunter.
RIP.
RIP NORMAN HUNTER 😔
Fantastic side Billy and Paul gone far to soon
Bites yer legs..R.I.P
