I had also never heard Gabby Barrett before now…I love her voice and personality! Thank you for the awesome collab!!
I think this may be the best version of this song that I have heard. The official version seems to drown out the vocals a bit, but here the pared back melody on the violin carries the tune perfectly whilst still letting the vocals shine.
The only problem for me is that I want to listen to it on a regular basis, but I dont want to hear the interview that many times. Amy Lee put up a version of her string session with just the music and I would love to have a similar video for this song.

I Love your songs Lindsey. You inspired me to continue playing my violin for the past 2 years. I was at your concert 2 years ago In cleveland in August, for my birthday. You are amazing! I've always been overly energetic, and when I saw you up there, dancing and moving non-stop, I was amazed. I know it incredibly hard to play with a clean rhythm and clean sound while moving around, so when I saw you playing, I wanted to be able to play like that. Thx for being awsome, and keep it up!

Re-watching this a year later. This version of the song is so much better than the original. Her vocals is given so much more room here, and you can never go wrong with Lindsey's violin in the background, hehe. I love the "interview", it's more like two colleagues chatting. You ladies are two sweethearts.

It's funny, I hear people getting bullied and then I think back to my childhood. Where I was bullied and I turned things around and ended up befriending the bullys. And now 20+ years later we're still friends. I think those two now life long friends made me a stronger person.

I have been listening to this song on repeat for months! So glad to see this collab - it sounds so good!!
This is not my favorite version of this song, but I would never do a thumbs down. I appreciate the work put in and it made me watch and listen so thumbs up totally! I just wish the instrument work Lindsey did had more bite and grunge to fit the song and lyrics more. Like slapping the wood and more plucking etc to make the kick I wanted to hear. But otherwise happy to hear this mashup. Love you both!

Hi! I like the melody of this one. As for the interview: I agree with Lindsey this time when she mentions about 'labeling'; my thinking is: not in an Industry only, but societies in general, as people we tend to label everybody else because we're not satisfied with ourselves; our projection rely on that. With regards to the bullying: I feel on Gabby, as I went through something similar in my childhood (and it's been reflected in some spots of my adulthood as well). Not cool at all! But definitely, despite how hard it's been to overcome some hard feelings, I think it's been a great opportunity to self-grow; so, I understand energy should be projected positively to inspire others and give them chances to grow as well. Lots of blessings to you both!
