Jewel's voice still stuns me. The woman can SING! Loved the interview. Two good people chatting.
I’m overwhelmed. I’m choked up. Past few years has been the hardest on me. But I’ve got up everyday and took charge. Jewels voice is like an angel. Love her since high school. You two together I’m in tears with how beautiful this is. I was supposed to meet you in mpls. I’d love to see you and jewel tour. Jewel knows the words that hits the spot for me. Love both of you.

Back in the day, Jewel was my escape from this loud and chaotic world. Her music would bring so much peace and a certain calmness to my life. And now to see this..making music with Lindsey, it’s mind blowing. I’ve seen Lindsey perform 3 times now, even cut my New York vacation short to see her in Illinois later that evening. I LOVE her music. It puts me in a trance. Thank you both for doing this. For bringing joy to people and something beautiful to listen to. ❤️

Thank you Lindsey for reintroducing me to Jewel! I grew up listening to her early music and am enjoying taking a second listen through the lens of experience.
I love her quote about hope being meaningless without action, and that we are all the artists of our own lives.
That combined with your recent reminder to us to step out of our own comfort zones and try something we’ve always wanted to do but were too afraid...So moving.
I’m taking baby steps and moving forward, as I’m sure many others are.

Ah!! *tears* Jewel was my inspiration as a youth in the 90's. Knowing she was raised in the Church brought me comfort. Seeing her with Lindsey makes my heart soooo happy!!! ❤❤❤
A very beautiful melody, when the music, the lyrics and the voice are combined, the result is inspiring, and both Lindsey and Jewel achieved that combination, regarding the interview, which stands out, Jewel, expresses herself, openly giving a lifetime. very motivating story, highlighting, situations and actions, that many should follow, to achieve a world a little better than we have found it, the sections are getting better, motivating and interesting, a wonderful job, which we must follow carefully Lindsey is an extraordinary woman, beautiful melody.

I love the story of how the poorest are the most generous. Hollywood has fooled us into thinking that, when the apocalypse comes it will be every man for himself and there will be roving bands of cannibals when in fact, studies have shown that, during disasters most people come together and help each other. The apocalypse bandits are just a projection of the fear that the powerful carry that the powerless will react violently to trauma.

I was homeless in Alaska for over a decade (which isn't uncommon there), I remember during this time, is when I first discovered your beautiful music Lindsey! I would often drive around with your beautiful songs cranked up loudly on my car stereo, and I was so moved by every note and every nuance. I would dream about getting you up there to make the most beautiful music videos set in the settings amongst the mountains. There's a possibility, an ideal for a 2nd collaboration with Jewel perhaps!? or something unique? That would be epic!

I love both you ladies and even though I only met Jew you both have been a huge part of my life a journey since a teenager. There are so many things happening in my life so as I looked for both your songs on my list to play and found this awesome new video instead I couldn't say thank you enough for pouring your talent out and affecting the world for the better. Both your voices are true talent and playing instruments and the hertz levels truly heal
When there was community, often in working class ‘primary industry’ industrial areas, everyone worked as one as u describe. Great to hear that spirit might still be alive and well in Alaska! Great to hear how outspoken u 2 are, I work in the arts too, including theatre sometimes, and haven’t always found people community spirited ;) But I am :) I think after all this I might move to USA

Hi! I guess this is the first time I heard about Jewel, and my first impression was: she's so mature, down to earth, and with lots of interesting experiences; so human inclined! I get away with two of her phrases: 'Hope without action is meaningless' and 'Fear is misuse of creativity'. A clear example of compassion and real support, at least from her word. Wish the best and lots of blessings to both of you!

Been laid off since April fools day but home with my 3 kids. Been a single mom most of the time I’ve been a mom and my oldest died 17 years ago when he was 2. Was neglected abused n severely mistreated by most of the men in my life. Being at home away from all the noise finally allowed me to start learning how to be compassionate to myself. It’s been a rough road but I’m finally feeling free and have started loving who I am. Thank you Lindsey and Jewel for giving me another song to sing when it gets hard to battle the darkness that tries to creep back in my life. Kids need happy moms 💜💙

I'm loving the performance, but there's an irreverent part of me which is looking at the backdrop on Lindsay's side and is convinced she's playing in her bathroom with the shower curtain as a backdrop. What with the acoustics, it's actually not a bad idea! But it still makes me giggle!

THIS, right here, is exactly why "artists" and "thinkers", are so fundamentally important in the development of a society that stands for anything or has any form of worth!
And I find it a strange twist of irony, that nearly all of these interviews are with the people who "didn't make it" or experienced an intense "journey" along the way. The chapter, the depth of understanding, the love, the compassion, for each and every human, that truly makes these people a special bunch! And where are the ones who "won", with whom fame collided in an instant and swept them away? No one even knows their names!
But, Lindsey, Jewel and the many others on here are either fast becoming, or already have become, house hold names.
And so it seems to be in history, from biblical characters through to those of folk law, it is often the down, the out, the journied, the weary, those with thoughts outside the norm, these are the ones that will change the world and find a far more eternal memory of their essence and being.
So, really well done with the String Sessions Lindsey, keep up the great work!
