About 12 years ago, my business failed and I went back to school to become a doctor. I was in the Wilkinsons Center at BYU one day, feeling particularly depressed about my life and circumstances. And out of the blue, I heard someone playing the violin. I turned around in my seat and I saw a beautiful young girl dancing on a small platform stage, playing the violin as she danced. I thought to myself, that is so neat to see her expressing herself through both dance and music at the same time, and she's so good! So unconventional, so unique, so beautiful. I didn't know it at the time, but that girl was Lindsey Stirling. I eventually found her on youtube by searching for dancing violinist and I shared her with everyone I knew. I continued in school and became a doctor and I have watched Lindsey grow into one of the greatest artists of our day. She lifted me that day in a way that words cannot express. And now she continues to lift the world with her talent. I now have a family of 6 kids who all love to hear and enjoy her music and to dance along side her. Thank you, Lindsey, for being who you are and for never giving up during the times when I'm sure obstacles came into your path. You and I have never met officially, but that day in the Wilkinson's Center at BYU, you changed my life. I am filled with gratitude for the gift you are. Thank you! Dr. Lee

I have to thank her for bringing back my love for my instrument 🎻!

Tell me why the production, music, clothing, dancing, and acting are more cinematic than most movies? But seriously, pairing up the most talented violinist with such a skilled dancer like Derek... they literally created magic. It looks like the best, most heart-wrenching fantasy novel come to life!
Down to the details of the triangle coming down his back on his neck garb with the triangle of the point-of her Luscious Hair to match, there was even choreography in that minutedetail that was not missed, not to mention the lightness in the agility of the arms in the fluid movement and the angles of the arm matches against the leg extensions oh, oh,my gosh, a pure delight!!!

Easy question. As a screenwriter, aiming to self produce, American cinema has fallen to the same thing every other thing of America has... (which just so happened to be once the best in the world also) $$$. There is no creative expression focused on the reason why God made us Creative in the first place. To reach the human soul in a way simple words cannot. Art was meant to be communication via the soul. Needing no words, OR if words are used, the RIGHT words to have the desired impact alongside of acting, dancing, etc.. Not happening today, especially here.
Just seeing this not only caused me to subscribe to Lindsey's channel, it also immediately gave me the idea to cast her as one of my characters. Without need for even an audition. Seriously. I can see her enough through this, I know she would be inspired by the role I have for her... one that just so happens to be based off a Greek Mythological character too.... Figure the odds of this. I went to my first Lindsey Sterling concert this September and I cried because it was so beautiful. Her speech about following your dreams really touched me and I quit my job that was harming my body after that weekend. I started thinking about the bigger picture and what I want my life to look like and I knew I had to quita and im so thankful for that. I do cat rescue and I hope one day I can do it a bigger scale because I want to live out my dream just like Lindsey is. She is such an inspiration and I hope to meet her one day.😭😭😭

I keep telling my husband I want to go so bad, he doesn’t really understand everything she’s done for me over the years and I’ve already warned him I would probably cry a lot and be the only one up jumping and dancing around 😂 much like you she’s made me come out of my comfort zone and going back to being my young self not my stay in my safe zone mom, wife etc with family. She’s made me love dancing again which is what I loved growing up etc so yeah long story short she really has done so much for people, she just doesn’t know ❤

As I'm reading the comic books (which are incredibly awesome, by the way! I just finished issue 3!), I can see how these videos are tying in with the story and I love seeing it brought to life this way. Artemis is definitely one of my favorite albums by Lindsey, the music is so beautiful!

She had multiple talents with her dance/ballet and her music/violin and she is BEAUTIFUL. The whole complete package any person would die to have.

She’s a mediocre violinist this is all easy to do with a few years of practice. Talent is playing Paganini’s caprices well enough no one hears any glaring errors. This is the equivalent to modern pop garbage.

She actually WAS in Dancing With the Stars! She made it to the finals and almost won, it was amazing! Totally deserved the trophy!

@@greghmiel7098 Not really. That story is literally over 1,500 years old. She is doing her own take though so who knows how she'll interpret the story. Will Apollo get her to slay Orion or will she go with one of the many many different other versions of his death? Or, will she find a way to save him? Who knows. We'll see.

He persuaded Orion to go somewhere and when he was far away, Apollo told Artemis if she is skilled enough to hit the point in the distance. Artemis accepted, not knowing that the point in the distance was Orion. And because she was Artemis, she successfully hit the point. That is at least the version I was told.

I found Lindsey 6 years ago I think, maybe 4 and every song I see a change of style, making it sound so much more emotional and elegant. I'm so glad to have heard her music because she inspired me to create so many stories with her music. I hope that one day I can do an animation to one of her songs.

In my class I’m always the one that is the nerd I always read is what I’m trying to say but most of my classmates don’t know that I do lots of sports and out of all of them even though playing violin is not a sport it is the only activaty that i do that has some one who has inspired me to keep going and thats you Lindsey! I want to say thank you because you’ve been a great help it would be simply amazing to actually meet you!!! And if possible taking just a half hour class with you teaching me would be a seriously HUMONGOUSE for me!!!!!!!!And also thank you for reading this comment i really apreciate it!!
