If you love Lindsey, you should look up Vanessa Mae. She was a classical prodigy that went electronic in the late 90s. Then there was Bond, a string quartet. A lot of good music to explore in case you're bored.
Chronically Nerdy never can get bored of Lindsey
An interesting thing I learned about Depression. It's self focused. It reminds us of just how not perfect we are. I have discovered that the easiest way to combat depression isn't by focusing on myself and how I'm "not good enough " (not good enough for whom or what exactly?) but by serving others in some capacity. It might be by Temple work or volunteering to help the widowed adults in my church or neighborhood. Depression is inward criticism, it focuses us on ourselves. Love is an outward moving expression. It should be freely give to others. That's how you beat depression, by serving others.

As someone who has recorded a small bit I would say the struggle that you speak of isn't so much with the people, but rather with yourself. It's yourself that keeps you from succeeding, from pushing forward. The fans simply buy the music. Success isn't measured by how much money you make but rather what you make.
In regards to "the good stuff or getting out all the junk." Peter Hollens once said that he hates the sound of his own voice (this was in reply to a Reddit comment). It's interesting that the things we most often dislike about ourselves are the very things that others admire. Perhaps you might consider making videos of the songs you haven't released or the ones you think are "trash" and let the fans decide if it's something they would buy? I think that you may find that what you consider to not be good enough is actually quite acceptable to others.

You are sooo right! Sometimes I'd post poems I didn't particularly 'like' at the time I wrote them and they'd be very well received.. and the ones I adored the most went begging! Lol! Lindsey is AmaZing! And the fact that Andy has her endorsement sets him in good standing.

Being a father and husband this touches on many levels for me. There's no guarantee that life will work out and no matter what I'd always want to support my kid and/or spouse but it doesn't stop the fear of it all falling apart. Fortunately, perhaps a small piece of understanding and hope can be kindled from music like this.
Perfect analysis from Andy. We do it for our own fulfillment. If someone happens to like it, great. If not, don’t take it personally and let it define you. Lindsey, you’re a love light, and bring much joy to us carbon units.

It's raining outside and that really hinders things while quarantined but Lindsey is the much needed ray of sunshine through the clouds

Lindsey you have inspired so many of us to do more than we thought we could do and also to play the violin. But you also taught us not to give up , don't let all the bad times keep us down, try new things, and take the bad comments that other people say to you to make you want to do better and more! I can't express how giving and genuinely caring Lindsey is.....I'm extremely glad to see her thriving during a very difficult time for all. This is such a neat idea and proves once again how innovative she is under unprecedented times. Love you Linds! Always!!! I'm a singer/songwriter and I don't have a lot of viewers and listeners and I'm struggling getting a fanbase. Thank you Lindsey for constantly reminding me that you have to keep trying despite no one cares. Unfortunately I've never been to one of your concerts because I keep using all my finances to help me improve myself as an artist. I hope one day i am noticed enough and I get to go to one of your concerts

Thank you Lindsey and Andy for the amazing song. I listened to the amazing song and conversation, and I feel you guys so much! I have started trying to create my own music, and it is really hard. The entire attitude of this performance is so uplifting and refreshing, and props to both of you guys for not giving up.
I find beautiful the way Spanish handles emotional and physical states. Instead of "I am tired", the Spanish phrase for this literally means "I have tiredness". There are a lot of examples of this.

I LOVE this new format! Appreciate the music, the inside window on what it takes to get there, the dedication to the art. I'm reminded of the Beatles music, so prolific, yet most people don't realize that of all their many hits, it only represents about 30% of the songs they went through to get those treasures.
