I was just starting to learn Hebrew because I want to read the bible in Hebrew, I feel like most new bibles are changed to suit what I don't see as I do in the older bibles meaning text are missing and the meaning of a phrase or sentence is not the same.

I'm Muslim, so I believe it is important to learn the verses of the holy text you read in it's original language because a lot of words cannot be fully translated into different languages and so the meaning can and will be altered. That is why we as muslims will learn and memorize the Quran in arabic so as not to twist the words in the verses.

As modern Israelis do, we "gentiles" can go between Biblical and Modern Hebrew from time to time. When necessary, I refer to the modern Hebrew translation of Tanakh published by Bible Society in Israel for comparison.
Duolingo or rosetta stone is pretty good to get the basics.
Its good for a quick go at learning some basic words and phrases.

I'm very interested in learning Ancient Hebrew. Israeli is not the same word asIsrealite.The new Hebrewlanguage is amixtureof a few Ancient Hebrew words with a Slavic language.

You can do whatever you like, but please know that writing or saying the actual name of God Y_H is offensive to Jews as we view it as taking the lord's name in vain. That's why we use names like a'donai or Hashem to refer to the almighty.

Most probably, the children of Israel are palestinians today, bc they share most genome data and they just converted from judaism to christianity to Islam over the centuries. It also shows, they endure any calamity that befalls them and still hold fast to their connection to Allah (swt). Truly chosen people by God.

I want to be able to read the Bible in Hebrew but I would like to also be able to converse with Israelites atleast to some degree :). At the beginner level, is it true that modern Hebrew and Biblical Hebrew are very similar? (I know they diverge, but in terms of core vocabulary and basic present grammar?). Toda and Shalom Shalom.
Most people that learn Hebrew come to a realization of the enormous lie that is the new testament. Especially when you learn the weight and significance of each letter. The old testament has depth found in no other religious book. It is like a sea of knowledge when you read it in Hebrew.
God is the author of both the Old and New Testament (all Scripture is breathed by God) so the entire book has God’s authority. If, by learning the language, you come to any realization that deviates from that truth, pray that God reveals the truth to you and that He removes any lies the adversary wants to try to convince you of.
I'm an atheist, but I have to say, WHWH is the only name for the god of the bible and the the only name in which the god told his people to call him for eternity. All the others are titles.

Just think about Blacks going into slavery and how much they lost of their original languages and culture. However in arabic يوم means (a day, age, epoch, or extremely long period of time)..... Yahweh is some pagan desert god, the word God is a title, and lord is a name for baal. So do some genuine and intensive research of the etymology, transliterations, and all the translations to understand what the actual old Hebrew said as to not offend The Most High.
The Most High is YAHUAH, the father, and our Messiah is YAHUSHA HaMashiach.
