Invicta 8926OB Mod - Milsub Homage

This is my latest mod using an Invicta watch and creating a Milsub homage. The Milsub was issued to UK Special Forces in the 1970s. About 1,200 were made with the majority being 'lost'. There's approximately 200 in circulation worldwide and one recently sold for £170k.

Invicta should hire you in the design department in charge of tasteful aesthetics. Would love to see an Invicta or Oreint based 1918 Trench Watch and/or a Hamilton dial style 1950's Railroad watch.

That looks fantastic.
If you're like me, and don't think tool watches should have exhibition backs, the plain steel Submariner case back from Raffles Time fits the Invicta case perfectly.

I'm glad I saw your video. I definitely would like to change the hands and dial .I ordered the watch with the scalloped bezel to save time and effort. The biggest problem I'm having is choosing the parts ,the array is staggering.

Walk around the garden to compose myself, pmsl. Get yourself a magnifying light. I know the frustrations of hand installs but learned with trial and error. Another tip don't use your pad when putting hands on. If you notice your pad is soft in the centre which is not ideal. Great build

it would have been a great video if you recorded the actual procedure on at least one of the mods done on this watch. its the in between stuff i need to see, not just the before and after.

Well done, can you put in the notes the exact parts you ordered. Were they specific to the Invicta or generic seiko. Were you happy with the Lume?

Hi... I have a 8926OB that I don't really want to mod, but do want to upgrade. Is that bezel ceramic? If so where'd you get it. Also I'd like to put a sapphire crystal in it, do you happen to know the crystal dimensions? I'd like to pre-order one and have it on hand before I pop out the one in it now. Hi it’s an aluminium bezel insert fromTiger Concept. You can get ceramic inserts on EBay. I think the crystal size for the 8926OB is 30mm.
