I'm glad I saw your video. I definitely would like to change the hands and dial .I ordered the watch with the scalloped bezel to save time and effort. The biggest problem I'm having is choosing the parts ,the array is staggering.

I have all 4 colors coming. New to watches. I think I will polish the bezels only. I will probably leave the green watch completely unpolished so it keeps a more military vibe. It is actually the cream colored watch that looks the most striking with the right color strap. I almost did not get the cream one because the cream strap it comes on, makes it look so washed out and boring. Nice video.

Or you could just order the 31290 model. Lol

Very nice. I considered polishing my 805, but decided to leave it as is for now. I agree, the standard strap is too stiff and essentially useless. Mine's on a NATO in the factory olive green.

Looks like the Marine Nationale Tudor Sub and much better with the original bezel insert. I'm going to order the patina blue snowflake for mine. Nice vid thanks

Invicta should hire you in the design department in charge of tasteful aesthetics. Would love to see an Invicta or Oreint based 1918 Trench Watch and/or a Hamilton dial style 1950's Railroad watch.

Well done, can you put in the notes the exact parts you ordered. Were they specific to the Invicta or generic seiko. Were you happy with the Lume?

Walk around the garden to compose myself, pmsl. Get yourself a magnifying light. I know the frustrations of hand installs but learned with trial and error. Another tip don't use your pad when putting hands on. If you notice your pad is soft in the centre which is not ideal. Great build

Especially when you compare this 5080 to that particular Seiko, I wish they wouldn't have put lume on the hands.

Hi... I have a 8926OB that I don't really want to mod, but do want to upgrade. Is that bezel ceramic? If so where'd you get it. Also I'd like to put a sapphire crystal in it, do you happen to know the crystal dimensions? I'd like to pre-order one and have it on hand before I pop out the one in it now.
