I will show you how easy it is to install a pair of GM/Chevy Factory wiper blades. I purchased this pair directly from the Dealership, the cost I paid was $30.00 each.
I've seen them listed for as low as $18.00 from some OEM sites, but then you have to pay the cost of shipping so it is almost the same price as if you went to the Dealership to buy them.
I always keep a spare pay in my vehicle, then when it is time to install a new pair I will use the spare one and order a new spare pair to replace the ones I just installed.
Here are the part numbers for the ones I have, still not sure why there is a left and right side, they look identical I can not see a difference in them at all.
    #84578275 & #23387857
+++++here is the link to chevrolet parts direct+++++
    www.chevroletpartsdirect.com/...
The numbers may be updated at the time you order them, just go by the numbers that they offer. I know the #84578275 is available. I see no reason why you can't just buy two of them and use them for the driver and passenger side.
As you can see by the screen shot from the OEM site the 275 number is the same as mine but the other number is different from the 857 number that I have. The 275 on the screen shot says left or right so I guess you can buy two of those.
I need to go to the dealership today and buy spare pair, so I will let you know what numbers I get this time.
    Thanks for watching

I have a '19 and i just noticed this last time i washed the truck that the wipers were ripped and not clearing the windscreen.
So, thank you for the great video on this subject.
I thought my wipers would have lasted more than 3 years....... but time to replace them. I am not sure if i will go with GM or an aftermarket brand.
Again, great video content and thanks.

I had a subscriber say he bought a pair from an auto parts store and they were much cheaper than the GM blades.

I purchased 2 Michelin blades from Costco last month for $7 each. $60 is just a ripped off. Also, instead of 22", I installed 24" which have more coverage.

Wow. That is an awesome deal... I was just checking out the AutoZone app and have standard cheap metal ones for 14 bucks and the average $24 for a decent pair and above 30 for the high-end pairs. I will definitely have to check that out next time I have to replace my blades. But what I would rather do is use a new 22 inch blade but keep my blade holder the GM/Chevy seems to work extremely well I think it's because of the weight of the holder. I don't understand why you can't buy replacement blades only anymore. But in the $7 case I guess I could buy those remove the blades and install them on my stock blade holder.

@@HowtowithPaulHenderson fortunately, these series of Silverados get very standard connections and any aftermarket blade can be fitted. My previous 14 Silverado was a nightmare to find aftermarket blades and I had to buy OEM ones..

Hey Paul, super enjoyable and thorough like all your videos, but i noticed when you got into your truck that you have what looks like a tablet mounted under your radio. Could you make a video on what it is and how you mounted it?

Hi Andrew, That is my Garmin GPS, I know cellphones have GPS navigation. I like to use the Garmin units since they will work everywhere. Cellphone will only work when receiving cell service. The mount is a product call MOB Armor available on line or at your local motorcycle or 4 wheel truck store I think Amazon has them also. This MOB Armor is a large one they have two sizes and they magnetically mount to a disc that you stick pretty much anywhere you want.

Hate to say this but they're the ones from the dealership. Someone told me that you can buy just the blades from AutoZone or kragen take the old ones out of the stock holders and slip in the new ones I did take out the stock blades took a little time with a pair of pliers I don't see why you can't slip in a new pair but I haven't tried it yet so I don't know if it works.

Wipers “designed” for a specific vehichle? Omg, that is just about one of the most incredible statements ive ever heard. Just pathetic!

There are some people that may not know how to install a set wiper blades. I have come across at least three different types of mounts with the vehicles that I have owned over the years and they may find this video helpful. I do not remember saying that these were specific to my vehicle, the length of the blades is however specific to my truck.
