2 people at GM should be fired for this. The designer of these blades, and the one that approved it's use on these vehicles. What was wrong with the old hook style that was used for decades?

Hey Cliff, great video. Short easy ones like this are nice. Wanted to let you know that I’m pulling the trans in my 14 Sierra this weekend to upgrade the Torque converter like you did. My rear main seal blew out on me so I had to get in there and while doing the research for it your video came up.
Love the content, super helpful and super clear. Keep up the great work. Also, I need more Silverado videos from you. After watching your converter swap I watched all of your Silverado vids. All Top notch, especially since I basically have the same truck as you!!

Can I pop that piece off of original wiper and install on another wiper? Or do I need specific wipers for my truck?
I thought it was J hook and then the button wasn't pressing all the way in. I watcheed your video, went outside, and 2 minutes later they were taken off and new onw installed, Thanks!
2019 HDs still had wiper mounts like this.
I got $11 Trico blades and they had an optional mount head in the package you had to swap on the blade first.
Here about the missing 10mm . Put a towel on lower windshield... I know we all think it won’t happen to me until it does.

Off topic, but curious to know how you’re liking the CTSV torque converter?
It's working well! No issues. A tune isn't necessary but I did get it tuned at a local shop for fun and truck shifts better than ever
I'm a relatively new sub so please excuse the question if it was covered in another video: Is your 4x4 emblem a RAM style after market emblem that you put on there after removing the Silverado decals?
It's actually from the GMC Sierra. The owner before me put it on and I liked it. Much better than the sticker

They do not, different wipers will work as long as they are compatible

Hi, we can’t seem to figure out how to change the wipers on our 2018 silverado 1500. The originals are on and my boyfriend is thinking we have to use a dealership. What’s the trick to it? He purchased new ones, right size etc.
A 2018 should be the exact same process as shown in this video. It is possible they changed the design but it shouldn't be much different if they did. Let me know if it works for you!
Same experience I had...had to add two adapters to get the new one on. When it is -30 and everything is frozen, this is basically impossible. Worst design I've ever seen! Thanks for doing the video though!

man, I've been waiting for dyno specs and this last finale of a video on that series for over a year. I am just genuinely curious as to what the dyno will say about the heads, cam, 6.2 intake, etc.
It runs! Over 6K on it. We have a ton of videos coming we just have to finish filming, editing, and more Dyno numbers. Have a new driveshaft coming in so we can do a proper pull all the way through the top of 4th.
@@TheSundaeDrive hey man got a 2015 just did the gpi stage 1 in my l83. I reused stock pushrods what length are the hardened ones you got there, also what lifters are you using I feel like my valvetrain is a bit noisy using the caddy racing lifters.

Use your thumb buddy you don’t need to push the tab down very far to remove these wipers the tab needs to just clear the surface.
