I am pleased to add an Opinel to my knife collection. This traditional French folding knife features a locking collar that keeps the blade safely open or closed. #knives
I have a No.8 carbon and it's the knife I carry everyday. One of the best, lightweight, sharp and a wonderful slicer for outdoor cooking use. Very classic and affordable.
The Opinel was the first knife i took to as a kid because you don't have the dexterity or strength in your hands and they don't take a lot. The price is a big bonus for a kid too. Still have an 8 and a 9, great hiking knives, very lightweight and tough enough to get through those small tasks.
I have a few Opinel. Best thing is you can completely customize them to your own liking m, both blade and handle, without destroying an expensive knife.
I have been using the number 8 for about 50 years now. amazing little knives.

👍🏼love opinel. Just the way they are and for modding to make them your very own unique knife. I have a vid😁
Time to keep stick with the French theme and get a Douk Douk.
1890 from 2024 is only 134 years not a couple hundred.
